Sadly this is my upcoming summer commute

For one million (inf) Statesman shows up to your Birthday Party, for five million (inf) he will be alive.... and at your bday party. I like the idea in theory, but curious about practical application and ability for systems to potentially handle stress if several players cashed out at once.

I love red/gold content but generally find the split 80% hero, 15% red and 5% gold with life revolving around Atlas. Good news is there is always another alt you can roll… or Null the Gull in Pocket D for a quick alignment change if you want to stick with what you have.

I like my sniper rifle / traps blaster. Pop some red inspirations and pick up the kill x of this type of villain in a given zone. Good sometimes for pulling one from a large group too.

I got to report the Ray Bann sunglasses one last summer. I think @Snarky needs cool Ray Bann sunglasses.

Lady Grey in the crypt mission … I just stand there and she goes apesh!t into the COT. Sadly the life of a hero is not an easy one…..

I have wanted this forever. I enter a map and at the back a bubble appears and disappears in the first 15 seconds of the mission killing the story telling, I wish I could even pick the locations of items from the available list on map, but that’s another thread.

a whole zone for the volunteer workforce is a pretty big and more than sprinkling villains all over. I was thinking there was talk of Warriors update and lore but I have brain fog if that is related. My forum searching tonight is just just endless clicking.

I don’t use those things but my way to play should not impact others way to play. Other players may want to use those things. I like my game play a little grindy but others want to get to their destinations a little faster and hop to the next character and do something different. HC is nice and flexible and if I want to join a fire farm once every 6 months I like that too and then back to missions or street sweeping. I like solo over teams lately and happy I am not mandated either way. I will pick up the raid badges when I feel more social. I hope HC never goes back to issue the 24, issue 1 or issue 0. Too much other bugs and yuck will come with the fuzzy memories of COH yesteryear. I clicked hard pass but the pole never appeared with results.

No one is required to team or play with another person. Count your blessings you only dealt with them for 5 minutes and not an hour or evening.

I would think recycling a previous year Winter Event announcement would happen, however the HC volunteers may be getting a much-needed rest after a busy 2022. The old gristle veterans like me come to expect the Winter Event, but it is always good to share game events for the newer players

Omg I was going to mention that too. There used to be pay sites to get game maps. Founders would pick off a wayward level 20 who wandered too far from the tram.

You are not crazy - things were unnecessarily complex in another time in a universe long, long ago. I had a word document(s) for the origin, name and purpose to figure that out. I think locating the stores was a chore in the early days. I know I spent hard earned influence on the wrong character and was pretty s.o.l.

Not sure if related but a long long time ago i had this as well and had to rollback my nvidea video driver. Some thing weird happened and I waited a couple more patches and the fishnet went away.

it does not surprise me inflation creeping into COH too. While insulated from salaries and wages I was curious why we did not see rising costs more in 2020 and 2021. At work our utility bills have just exploded (water, electrical, gas, you name it) while consumption has flat or declined in our buildings. I cannot imagine what the bills would be like with 1/3 of the work force in an offices or how we ran bills pre 2020. Any-hoo thank you players, volunteers, game masters and all the people that put their heart, souls and free time into giving us a virtal city to play in each month.

Wireless keyboard? My old Microsoft one can still type characters and works but my hero will 'stutter' on low batteries.

This game has lots of solo content. Just try notoriety settings out. Some times you can crank them up or dial back as needed. My tanker gets cranked up, my psychic dominator needs to be in bubble wrap. I have little time to play so I appreciate this game not being constant raids after a certain level.

I just want hordes of Shivans rampaging for a couple of weeks similar to Rikti snd Zombies events. Zone announcement and sirens as something unearthly is forming in an area. The roving bands of monsters have no clear motives other than to rain a handful of meteors on a city and isles zone and cause destruction as they incubate more future Shivans. Find a meteor (similar to rikti bomb) run down the damage meter and prevent more hatching - fail - a few more limited Shivans continue to appear to terrorize citizens. Either way there’s always a shivan menace to obstruct your efforts. Throw in some badges and call it a preliminary invasion anniversary event. Each invasion culminates in a giant zone battle for a few minutes as heroes defend their city until the forces of blue jello retreat into the earth to recoup for another time.

I am certain people more knowledgeable of the game body tech would say it is possible but the costume parts would need to be re-fitted to the female head shape. Otherwise the beards might appear floating off the face, cover eyes or not look right so it’s not just changing the menu but someone’s time to remodel those beards. if we get cross gender beards on the to-do list we damn well better get a Dr Phil costume pack too.

ok so the Moon Base was going to be in Boom Town, but for whatever reasons Council moved in because they are jerks. I always hoped all these neglected Hazard Zones from launch could get some more TLC. They are too many wastelands in the city and it does hell on the taxable valuable of these properties. I still cannot find my old-time share condos in Astoria. I have often hovered over this spot and thought....this does not look like a moon base. Clearly those other jerks at Portal Corp are building some system under here to connect to the moon and sadly no rockets any time soon.
