  1. I do agree with the difficulty of finding good E/N resistance. I'm not sure if people would prefer the 4.5% E/N resistance more than 3.75% AoE resistance, but either is fine by me.
  2. @Snarkyand @Obus Formyou bring up good points. My willingness to not confine creativity very well may paralyze that creativity without some direction or momentum provided. I typically do giant characters, but I want to get away from that. So I would like a normal or slightly below average sized character. I want the character to be human. I want the character to be female. I want the character to be a badass, and they will likely serve a support role. I also like dynamic color. Nothing dreary, but vibrant. It doesnt have to be all vibrant, but at least accents that would pop out. That's still fairly vague, but I hope that provides some direction in hope someone can take it and make something unique come to life.
  3. Has anyone else noticed that when you create a character, the Electrical Affinity shows up on the top left when managing enhancements (iirc), but if you scroll down on the bottom right it shows Electricity Affinity. Curious why different names show up.
  4. If you are familiar with Power Boost, it is that. Clarion Radial does it too. It boosts the Strength of almost all secondary effects. Here is a screenshot.
  5. No guidelines. I will let others have unfiltered creativity allowance.
  6. I need your help. I love the game, but my love comes from numbers, build optimization, and strategies. However, when it comes to character creation, I dont have the patience to go through every costume piece and every color palette, nor do I have an artist's vision of what I would even want my character to look like. In fact, I have even used Random Costume to create a character (the shame...but it was for a Granite Tank, so it probably didnt matter). So I call on you, the community, to be creative for me. I would like for someone to design a good looking character that they can share (either via file, or list out the options). I'd like to see screenshots of what is designed, and when I make my next character(s), I will copy the look that I like best (or fits best to my build). Thank you in advance.
  7. I can see the reasoning both ways. It offers those who want Bombardment to have an Avenue for range enhancement through global, while offering Air Interdiction (nee Shrapnel 😉 a direct line to +range via enhancement. Either way, I like the sets where they're at. At this point my suggestions are really just fine tuning and wishful thinking
  8. I agree, and I hope they would implement a system where each stack gives the character a +2% +Special, maxing out at +10%. It doesnt sound like much, but that really does boost a lot for a character. 10% more heal, 10% more endurance mod, 10% more fly/run speed, 10% more defense (if you take powers like weave or maneuvers). And it would turn Amp Up into a beast as I would assume the +Special from your character would combine with the +Special given to the Amped Up ally. Plus it gives the set another identity that would be unique from all others. The chain mechanic is fantastic, and that is the sets defining feature. But adding the self buffing of +Special can really beef up the powerset to a level that I think would make it one of the stronger sets (not having a resistance debuff is the only thing that would keep me from saying it would be top).
  9. With some helpful logic from @Coyote, the bug simply is Spring Attack's pseudopet is not accepting enhancements of any kind. The FF proc was triggered by the activation of the power (which teleports you). Since it is a self buff, it procs wheras Explosive Strike would obviously not proc against you.
  10. ssssshhhhhhhh....it's Air Interdiction 😛 You could ask Curator to reconsider swapping the 2-slot bonuses between Air Interdiction (nee Shrapnel) with Bombardment to provide it with the 5% range bonus. Bombardment would get regeneration.
  11. You just described Shrapnel, only Shrapnel is likely going to get the Thunderstrike treatment for double range defense bonuses. As for the arguments I'm seeing with Positron vs Bombardment in regards to recharge, sure PB gives 6.25% vs 5%, but Bombardment gets 85.7% recharge in enhancements versus 26.5%.
  12. Excellent catch. You're right.
  13. Now that you reminded me, Endurance can go from 0% to 100% in one minute, whereas Health goes from 0% to 100% in four minutes. That is likely why we're seeing Recovery bonus values 1/4th that of Regeneration bonuses. Also, I recall Regeneration is linear with respect to HP/sec, so adding +X% regen always results in adding +Y% in HP/sec. Since Recovery works the same way, we know stacking will also have a linear relationship to endurance recovery rate. What actually matters is the endurance consumption to endurance recovery ratio. Similar to defense and resistance getting closer to cap has an exponential benefit, the same is said for the closer endurance recovery gets to endurance consumption, as the time until endurance drain will grow exponentially. Luckily, there are three ways to combat that: Increase Recovery, Increase Endurance Discount (set bonuses and enhancements), and Increase Max Endurance.
  14. When solo, the power is perfect for your Galvanic Sentinel. It has a base HP of ~1000, so giving it an extra 520 HP really turns it into a nice meat shield. Plus, that absorb comes back to you, so you enjoy an extra 390 HP (75% of the max absorb). It is certainly one of my favorite powers of the set.
  15. The math looks right if we're comparing the bonuses to something like regeneration, where its Ultimate bonus is 16% which is roughly the equivalent of putting a level 50 IO heal into Health (40%*0.424 = 16.96%). Similarly, a level 50 IO endmod in Stamina would give you (25%*0.424 = 10.6%). That lines up with your proposal of a Ultimate bonus being 10% recovery. The only counter-argument I see is the availability of endurance reduction enhancements available to every power you use, whereas not every power can be enhanced by a healing enhancement. For that reason, I think recovery set bonuses are purposefully set to such small values. That being said, I modest buff is certainly a reasonable request. Maybe not a 2.5x, but a 1.5x seems rather fair.
  16. I greatly appreciate the testing you've been doing. I've found all of your analysis to be very insightful. I have been playing with the set a bit, but haven't done any group testing to see how the set really feels in action (that's the limitations of only logging on late night on the west coast...few others are on with me testing). Nonetheless, on paper it just doesn't seem like the above mentioned powers are all that limiting. As for Insulating Circuit, I'm not sure I understand the complaint. The power only has a 1 second animation time, and a 500 HP shield that lasts 20 seconds feels decent. If a 500 HP shield needs to last 45-60 seconds, odds are, the enemy isn't killing you fast enough to matter anyways. I'm likely going to spam this power anyways since it takes the Panacea proc, makes for a nice absorb, heal, endurance return.
  17. You should also add a Performance Shifter into Physical Perfection. It's not a unique. As for good Alpha options, I think you should look at Agility Core as you will get Defense buffs that will boost your forcefield, more recharge (I assume you aren't going heavy on procs), and you get endmod benefits that will boost your physical perfection and stamina. Otherwise, you can go for either of the Damage Alphas. Both include tohit and defense debuff enhancements which probably won't help you, but the Musculature will improve your Endmod (good for stamina and physical perfection) as well as your immobilizes. The other benefits your holds and range.
  18. This came from a discussion in the General forum, but the findings apply to this Bug Report. I did testing with Spring Attack, slotting it with the FF +Recharge Proc, Obliteration Proc, Scirrocco Proc, Eradication Proc, Explosive Strike Proc, and the last slot was either empty or had a regular Damage IO in it. Findings: The Damage IO did not increase damage of Spring Attack. All Damage Procs (3 from PBAoE sets, 1 from Knockback set) never Proc The FF +Recharge did proc (from Knockback set) These findings suggest there is a bug in the Spring Attack pseudopet that is causing it to not accept most enhancements. It is confusing that the FF proc would fire, but the Explosive Strike proc would not, seeing as how both come from Knockback sets. This was tested on Beta Server using a Tanker.
  19. Your findings are the same as mine. I tested Shield Charge, Lightning Rod, and Spring Attack. Shield Charge and Lightning Rod triggered a ton, as the FF proc and damage procs lit up my combat log. As for Spring Attack, I only saw the FF proc. For Spring Attack, I also tested the use of a Damage IO, and I noticed my Spring Attack's damage did not change when I had the Damage IO or not. So that made me think the pseudopet does not accept damage IOs (bug) which would explain why the PBAoE damage procs would not trigger. However, the FF proc and the Explosive Strike proc both are Knockback procs. I saw the FF proc all the time, I never saw the Explosive Strike proc. So something fishy is going on there. I'll see if there are any outstanding bug reports on Spring Attack, and I'll add these findings.
  20. @Shred MonkeyI have a guide that covers Procs, including rain powers (which are pseudopets) @Ironscarletwhen did you first notice this behavior with Spring Attack and Shield Charge? I recall there being a bug with Spring Attack not procing, but I assumed that was fixed by now. The shield charge info is surprising. I will test both out on the test server later tonight and see if what you're saying is accurate. If so, it's a bug. Pseudopets do proc. They should proc at a probability of Probability = PPM / [6 * (1 + 0.75*0.15*Radius)]
  21. Share your build as it currently stands, and let us know how much you're willing to spend. Do you have the Panacea +End/HP in health? Miracle, Numina? Do you have Performance Shifter +End in Stamina and Physical Perfection? If so, and youre still having endurance trouble, then look into the endurance reduction options, or Musculature Radial
