Curious what is causing you the most problems with Council? I still find Council to be the easiest of the PI radios groups, just not wimps they were before. Though I now refer to all galaxy spawn as speed bumps, because they slow the team down a lot. Side note, breaking line of site after you drop a galaxy or moving far enough away will keep them from rezing.

Or you could go to where you know it installed the latest version. Start it directly from that location. Then only the files manually. Sounds like your MIME types are very confused about which version to use. Why I suggested ripping them all out. -

Careful go through and rip out all versions of MIDs. You probably have multiple conflicting versions. It happened to me once, due to manually installing a version. Then reinstall the latest one from scratch. -

My guess is that you are too far behind. Trying install fresh from the website. I used Help->Check for updates to get the latest. On Windows if that matters. -

I'll test it out. As far as I know nothing has changed, you can take Reactive Interface 75% for fire dot as an alternative.

I do, but I didn't realize MIDs had updated so fast. Sigh. I posted this in a rush yesterday. TT:Offense is a place holder for Fate Sealed. Getting 100% KU and KD is really nice. -

I have play tested these builds and MIDS updated really quickly. Page 7 builds. Note, all builds are expensive. Fortunata melee/control. Fate Sealed give 100% chance to KD/KU for Telekinetic Blast and Psionic Tornado. Plus, buffs to all controls duration. Scrambled Thoughts will take a +3/4 boss out of the fight for 20+ seconds. You can easily lock down two bosses with this and dominate. Can play at range if things get too hot. Build in text form: Build in data chunk Night Widow Support/Tank I tried a bunch of different combination of Epics. Mu immobilizes worked the best for me, but only solo. I have swapped out Psychic Scream for Electrifying Fences due to the fact I general run on teams. Solo bread and butter AOE is BU->Placate->Spin->Fence Team bread and butter BU->Psychic Scream->Placate Spin The problem solo is Psychic Scream and Spin work against each other due to mob scattering. On teams this isn't as much of an issue. Provoke to help play the off tank or herding role Can solo pretty much anything at 4x8 Build as text Build as chunk Bane Everything is a mace attack now with the customization changes Support/Melee/Control Wide Area Web Nade->Placate->Crowd Control mean lots of crit hit. Mobs stay clumped up. Plenty of ranged AOE Plenty of melee Holds if you need them More fragile than the Fortunata and Night Widow due to no DDR (Defense Debuff Resistance), but has better base resists and more HP than Fortunata. Everything is immobilized, debuffed and crited 🙂 Build as text Build as chunk

I know this is an old post, but I was able to solo the ITF 4x8 with my Night Tank build. The trick with the 2nd Romulus is to use placate to split each nitcus AV from Romulus and kill them one at a time. Then finish Romulus. I bet there is a faster method, but I have not solo'ed it enough times to figure it out. -

Banes can get better base resist, so the delta from Widow defense isn't as important. But without scaling resists and DDR, they are much squisher. -

It would be great if all VEATs were up to the awesomeness that are Fortunatas. At this time, I am basically content with the changes for this pass. There is a constant problem during beta, there are no teams. Almost everyone is soloing, most of the time. This tends to skew my thinking a bit. Oh, I can't solo 4x8 these changes aren't enough. Once, the changes hit live and folks can test them out in a full team setting. I think my opinions will change about some aspects. My Bane builds can comfortably solo 4x6, they could solo 4x8 if they had any DDR. I don't understand the comments about a lack of synergy. At least solo, WAWG, Venom, Frag/MBB, placate, and Crowd Control work very well together. Night Widows do have a problem with runners, which can only be partially fixed Epic immobilizes. In a team environment this isn't an issue. I have made some suggestions about unresistable slows and making Eviscerate more effective. Builds can solo 4x8 anything unless there is a lot of bad luck with -defense. Fort, the rich got richer. That last change to Fate Sealed made it worth taking even on melee Fort. 100% KU or KB! Thank you very much. Long stunning Scrambled Thought, thank you again. The other animation/cast times are just icing. -

You cannot customize it. It will always use the "rod" style claws. Admitted I have not checked careful since page 5. -

I think it's time for another round of Beta PI radios. Or maybe a TF depending on how people feel. Tuesday, Feb 13th, anytime after 7:30pm EST(East Coast US) join us on the beta server. Bring your sub 50s, new beta builds, whatever you want. You can stress test them against improved beta mobs. -

After playing on beta quite a bit here are my current ranking. Excluding Crabs, because I don't play them. Overall DPS: Melee Fort Bane Night Widow - would be better if they could control runners Single target: Bane Night Widow Fort Durability: Night Widow Fort Bane - it's all about not having any DDR -

Honestly, it's not hard to memorize the cave locations in PI. There are 3-4 around the Portal Corp and one off the SW end of the island.
