Costume costs, ICON

Just checking -- does it really cost nearly 4,000,000 INFL at ICON to swap out a costume in a character's costume-slots??

Price is on a scaler depending on level.  For a lvl 50, depending how many parts you change, yes it could be that high.  Any toon under 10 has costs waived (I believe).

Right.  So I take every new character to the tailor and create different costumes for them.

Also, I believe you are granted free tailor tokens as your character progresses through levels.  So, you'll have a few saved up by the later levels, when it would become that expensive.

you can also get discounted tailor tickets from logging off ( I believe at least, haven't done it in awhile)

 

at level 50 though 4million is the equivalent of a few missions ran though, so I don't feel its price is too extreme

When my main hit level 50 and I switched her into the costume I had all ready for her, I unexpectedly discovered that her legs were noticeably longer in that costume than in her others. I went to the tailor to shorten her legs to where they should be, and discovered it was going to cost me 1,000,010 inf just to move the slider 25% to the left. Yikes!

This is especially true on the VEATs where the second through sixth costume slots takes nothing from the previous.....I always have to readjust my Widows and Soldiers body scales.  If you open a new slot (Halloween salvage or icon missions) they will open the new slot by copying whatever costume you are currently wearing your first costume slot so bring cash or tailor tokens depending on changes planned if you are fairly high level.

Sounds about right for U.S. based surgery costs. 😄
