Tanker Farmer

I still do not have a Farmer.  I like Farming better than marketing.  And i love new alts. 
 

sooooo. With the changes to Tanker what is the current powersets that give the most Farm fun?

Fire/Rad would be your best bet.  I have been farming with a Fire/Rad Tanker since late November.  Since the Tanker changes, it farms very well and at about the same speed as a Spines/Fire Brute.

Fire armor is the default choice. Rad melee is probably the most effecient, but I think spines, Savage, fire, super strength, and possibly even ice will work.

Not sure if it still works, but I once recall procs spreading with contamination. So Rad Melee could hit a single target and proc damage from that attack would trigger on nearby contaminated foes, essentially turning ST attacks into AoEs, but still using ST proc formulas. But that's info from half a year ago, I never followed up to see if it is still the case.

This is a build im currently working on - on and off for stricktly AOE real world and Farming capabilities.

 

Its awesome untill you get to an EB or hardened boss then it takes a while to take down - it melts everything else though.  If anyone has suggestions to something i may be missing to make it more deadly to hardened targets i am all eyes and open ears also - as my altitis has made me hit a self imposed dead end on this one.

Has anyone tried staff in farming? I know it may not be as efficient, but is it still decent? It seems to have a lot of AoE potential.
