Ninja/Beast run toggles

Not exactly a priority, but would it be possible to add Ninja/Beast run toggles that don't use power or give movement bonuses?  Basically, ones that you can leave on and work with other travel powers (SS, SJ), so they can be left on all the time and you always have the "look."

Could call the "game mechanics stripped" version of the power Ninja Movement and Beast Movement, so as to help differentiate it from the "actual" Ninja Run and Beast Run powers.  Give it a token endurance cost (if it has to be above zero, copy the 0.07 end/sec of Combat Jumping) and let it be a pure For Appearances Sake kind of power.  That way, there's no game mechanical advantage to using the powers, merely an aesthetic preference for appearances sake.

 

I approve of this suggestion.

If I can be probably-unreasonable for a bit, what'd be SUPER nice would be the ability to customize our basic animations. Like, our run animation, our sprints, the idle animations we use, our flight/hover poses...

 

Likely unreasonable, but it'd be nice.

If you're playing a beast-type character, and you use other powers like Combat Jumping, then you can't also have Beast Run on, which is sad because mostly I just want the animation.

 

Agree that the best solution, and a great general improvement, would be to allow characters to choose their idle animation.  Several options in the emote list would be reasonable choices (though several would not be).  But "does nothing but pose" versions of Beast Run and Ninja Run (that don't cost endurance or turn off other powers) could indeed be a simple-to-implement solution for people who specifially want that animation as part of their character.

Unless you slot Sprint and fill it with run speed enhancers.

Ninja Run has the dumbest looking animation in the universe

The alternative is the Naruto run, which would still have the 'powers coming out at odd angles' issue, since those are the two run styles associated with 'Ninja' in the public consciousness.
