Six-Six Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 If you can, try hardwiring it from the router to the computer. It will be much more stable than over wifi. The game itself is an old game so its connection requirements aren't as demanding as newer games. Also, it's the weekend, so a lot of peeps are on. You can also try a different shard (like Reunion or Everlasting) to see if the server load could be the culprit. My Toons

To help reduce lagginess, I upgraded from hotspot connection to actual, honest to goodness, Wi-Fi. Also closing background tasks helps. Check your install is in the right path (not a folder windows futzes with) and that you are whitelisted through firewall and antivirus software. All the servers are located in Canada except Reunion, which is in Germany, so finding one closer to you may improve lag as well. Shard transfers are free, you get refilled to 5 every 3 days, so you can maybe move around and balance server location with population load to even out lag. Lots of QoL improvements so have fun and welcome to your new addiction! 1

If it's fairly new, it's probably 64-bit, but I still see 32-bit hanging around, so it doesn't hurt to check.
