thunderforce
I propose that if you are using a crafting table in an SG base, and you have access to the salvage racks, crafting should be able to draw on salvage in the racks as well as in your inventory. This would be extremely convenient. (Feature creep: if salvage remains seeded on the AH, crafting tables could just let you buy it at AH seed prices). WanderingAries
While we're on the subject, can we add sorting? I remember having to make sure to leave one of each thing in order to maintain my alphabetical sorting in my OG bases. Currently, I use the limited base items to label things like rarity and level, but sorting would be great so we can just drop and go. Not only does it make the perfectionist happy, it makes it easier to Find said salvage. ...Side note, why do some class of tables no longer work? are they depreciated due to some system changes? Impish Kat
The only wrinkle I can think of for accessing salvage via the crafting tables is that it might allow non-sg members to access your salvage that way. An unscrupulous person could easily wipe out your salvage. AFAIK, storage racks do sort alphabetically automatically. Not sure what you mean by tables not working... what tables? thunderforce
The only wrinkle I can think of for accessing salvage via the crafting tables is that it might allow non-sg members to access your salvage that way. It would have to respect your existing storage access; if you can use a rack, you can use a rack when crafting. AFAIK, storage racks do sort alphabetically automatically. Not very reliably - in particular as you take stuff out by clicking individual pieces, it sometimes resorts itself. Not sure what you mean by tables not working... what tables? There are cosmetic "non-working" tables, empty storage racks, etc - perhaps they mean those? But those are intentionally non-functional. WanderingAries
Not very reliably - in particular as you take stuff out by clicking individual pieces, it sometimes resorts itself. It must be very subtle because I've never noticed it, especially in OG times. Now the Insp thing sorts now however. There are cosmetic "non-working" tables, empty storage racks, etc - perhaps they mean those? But those are intentionally non-functional. I'm not logged in so I forget the name, but there is a set of three of the oldest crafting tables that I used to use (I forget what for) that no longer work. The lowest tier is basically a table, the next is built up a little more, and the third is built up the most. They USED to work, but I'm wondering if with all the changes that something Else has made their purpose moot. To save you some trouble: I tried giving my Super Villain Base a MONSTROUS room with salvage racks that could store every single different piece of Salvage. (They only go to 100 total instead of 999 on Homecoming which is far too little sadly...) On top of that, you can only have about 12+ total racks before it all goes RED on you and you can't place anymore. This pretty much killed my idea completely, so I came up with a better one. Just use the Black Market to store your items.. Buy all of your items and leave them until you pick them up. Make yourself a LIST of all the INVENTION SALVAGE in game and send it to your personal global e-mail, that way IN GAME, you can just pull up that list real fast and go to town. Using /AH while you're at an Invention Table is the best way to do it.

If you are talking about the Basic, Advanced and Expert Worktables/Forges, I believe the reason they no longer work is that all base items are already unlocked so there's no need for them to function.
