*Espy Posted April 30, 2021 Share Posted April 30, 2021 (edited) Hi, Was using Tequila for City of Heroes On Windows XP SP3. Worked fine until yesterday, it was downloading an update and gave me the following errors of files that failed to download. Likewise when game is launches I get this error: : I have tried to install the new launcher, but get this error: "Could not load launcher bootstrap package." Please let me know what, if anything, I can do to fix this and load the game using EITHER launchers on this machine. Thank you so much in advance for your help! Also I'm not sure it's a good idea to post your XP Registration number. You should probably delete this pics. City Council Number Six Posted April 30, 2021 City Council Share Posted April 30, 2021 Installing the new launcher doesn't currently work on XP because the default URLs were switched to https to work around some ISP caching/filtering problems. However, the secure socket library on XP doesn't support TLS 1.2 which is required by almost all sites now because of vulnerabilities in earlier versions.
