Who knew her name was so literal?

Ran my latest slow-play toon through all the Twinshot arcs yesterday and today. Turned out to be great fun. It's actually a cleverly done tutorial, ending with a nice brawl versus Praets as capstone.

Speaking of slow play, the Long Riders are always looking for members. We don't get to team nearly enough, unfortunately (damned adulting). We do have a base with all the TPs and other supports (not that these things are particularly needed these days). Could always use another base builder, if anyone wants to exercise their design chops to meet the aesthetic.

Cheers,

Crane

I have done a TON of AE work, both long form and single arc. Just search the AE mish list for my sig @cranebump. For more information on my stories, head to the AE forum sub-heading and look for “Crane’s World.” Support your AE authors! We ARE the new content.

Actually, that might be a clever retcon of the Twinshot character to consider.  As best I recall, we don't have a multiplying hero or villain in the game, which is odd seeing as it is a staple of comic books.   I know Rularuu has aspects, but it is not quite the same.  I'm also aware that we meet certain characters' time traveling "duplicates" and of course, multi-verse duplicates.  Still not the same thing as a multiplying super.

Cortex in Agent Watkins' Vahzilok arc does this with mental projection.  When you get him down to about 25%, he despawns and sends about three waves of several copies of himself after you and you need to take them out before refighting Cortex again proper.

Praetorian Vanessa DeVore does something similar when you fight her during Mother Mayhem's story arc, though I believe she sends her copies/projections first.

Also, Hamidon mitos used to divide and duplicate if you didn't have them held before defeating them.  That was removed in Issue 8 when Hami got reworked, but that also probably doesn't quite fit here.

There's also Flamebeaux who uses Nemesis duplicates of herself to show off in one of the tip missions.  Also not the same thing but you do get the opportunity to smack down two of her at once.

Currently playing on Indomitable as @Zork Nemesis; was a Protector native on live.

Neuron has all his clones, and there's all the different Aeons...

As I recall, the Aeons were time-traveling version of himself or multi-dimensional.

Neuron is a good point, though I suppose it depends on how his "clones" are generated.  Are they him down his own timeline looping back, or like the Flash are they some sort of hard-to-explain time remnant?

I did think of one multiple character after I wrote that, though:  Trapdoor.  When we fight him, his connection to the Well allows him to duplicate himself, much like Multiple Man in Marvel Comics.  No timeline dups or multi-dimensional dopplegangers.
