On a side note, I spotted someone on Live with the name "Happy Fun Ball."  The bio was nothing but those quick, short, terrible jokes that you can't help but laugh at.  You could almost hear that comedy drum riff (whatever it's called) after each one.

 

Also, RIP Phil Hartman.

I want the name my main I had on live from beta to shutter, the name that is my global, not OG or with no spaces or underscores or weird characters, I just want High Beam back.  And since I have the global name you know its some beam rifle guy who may or may not have made it to 50 and hasn't been played again not an awesome energy blaster.  So even if the name change goes in effect it is still lost to me.  Le sigh.

Keep the faith High Beam I was a late bloomer to HC and I missed out on my main live name Fire Chief, I found out who had it on EX through the typical ways in game and one day I get a whisper saying you the guy looking for Fire Chief...and the rest is history 🙂

 

The other is Kobolt I can't get it on server EX but I use the letter trick to make it look like the spelling but 1 outta 2 for my dream names aint bad 🙂

They generic'd my Plant/Thorn DOMinator "Vine Diesel" within 10 minutes of its creation but I appealed to the powers what was and got the name back. 

 

I wasn't so much upset that Vine got generic'd as I was that THAT character is the one that got hit, and not something like Embarrassing Wetness or Missionary Physician, or any of 300 other characters who have inspired audible groans in voice.

What a coincidence! I have a high school track star turned villain who used performance enhancements from Crey and got kicked off the team. He's got a mean streak and is a super fast speedster called 'Highspeed' - Crey kept supplies coming, so now he's addicted and needs to make money to pay for his... oh wow you didn't mean basketball player 😳

I need to check if Steel Fury has been dropped by whoever had it. It was my first character on Live, couldn't believe I got that name at the time.

I rarely played the character, it was a BS/Regen Scrapper after all, but I let that character sit on my highly limited list of slots all the way to the end and made sure he got every limited season badge. The costume was just the shiny Metallic tights combo with the rounded medieval helmet; he was supposed to be like a T-1000, hence he would regenerate wounds and the sword was part of him (also why it would pop in and out of existence like that).
