What would be an 80's themed costume?  Like to wear for a CC or something?

I was thinking Hawaiian shirt, shorts, sunglasses.  Don't really know.

I went to Ouroboros all i got was this lousy secret!

High waisted spandex in like purple and red with a puffy wool sweater.

Knee high white socks with banded color stripes at the top with short shorts.

Sky-Hawke: Rad/WP Brute

Alts galore. So...soooo many alts.

Originally Pinnacle Server, then Indomitable and now Excelsior

Hair that's poofier and curlier than anything we have in game, at least on female characters.

Mullets.

Pastels.

Parachute pants.

Shoulder pads.

Jean jackets.

Leg warmers.

Part of it depends on "when in the 80s" we're talking, too.

Patrick Nagel I want all of my characters to look like they were drawn by him.  So Eighties.  Or Dakota North, the covers not the interior.  God I still remember the paper doll cutout issue.  80's = Aweseome

The Elemental and Corsair robe pieces always remind me of Adam Ant.

I actually won an '80s themed costume contest a while back with this character: Power Ballad (Sonic/Electric defender).

Jackets/trenchcoat and pouches. Lots and lots of pouches.

That was more 1990s wasn't it?  I started collecting in 1992 when Image Comics launched and the look was definitely a part of that launch.

It started in the late 80s and then carried over into the 90s.
