Auroxis
I churned out this build today and tested it on Justin, focused on maximizing S/L resists while maintaining high overall performance. It can down pylons in reasonable times (About 280 DPS) and farm AE maps on +4x8 w/ Bosses. Gregg247
This looks similar to one of my favorite alts in CoH. I'm recreating him now in this new version of the game. You're right; the Bane Spider Soldier is awesome and fun. I spent many a happy hour bashing in the skull of some poor minions! lol

Greenmantle
Thanks @Auroxis and seems like a great build so far. I went broke trying to slot it out so I'm going to have a play a while to get the hang of it and earn enough to slot it. Also, my issue with not being able to see the enhancements was resolved by installing Mids Reborn planner. The other one would just not work for me. TheAdjustor
Thank you for sharing that remarkable build. After seeing what was possible and what you achieved, I had to completely rethink the goals for my own Bane. I have to ask though just how much does the SL resist do for you outside of of say Cimerora or other areas where there is little but SL damage ? At some point I would like to take mine on the mothership and do some herding. Would that be easy, possible, or out of the question ? Edit: Just a note +4x8 SL farming is very doable with only about 50% S/L resistance Edited August 16, 2019 by TheAdjustor

Edit: Just a note +4x8 SL farming is very doable with only about 50% S/L resistance My bane's at 78% s/l resist, and it still feels overkill (you can see mine in the ultimate control/support bane thread) I've been thinking of shifting around some of the bonuses, but I still want the positionals, and it appears s/l comes with most of that. I can solo cysts in ITF if I burn a couple inspirations, and didn't die even on +4x8 ITFs doing that, the rest of the mobs are easy. I haven't tried herding on the mothership, but rikti aren't something I worry about, the things I worry about are hammy in LGTF, Knives, Tsoo and banished in DA higher than +0, and Rularuu in that one itrial (I forget what it's called.) There was some mob I ran into in a pickup group awakened or something, and carnies, I'm about 99% sure none of that is because of S/L.

I should thank you as well, I stole some of your ideas for my current build that I am testing. I had somewhat different goals in terms of playstyle, namely I wanted the big three targeted aoe attacks from the rifle, Venom Grenade, Heavy Burst and frag grenade, I also wanted to do more -res group debuffing, for melee attacks I wanted all mace single target and crowd control for bonus points.

Edit: Just a note +4x8 SL farming is very doable with only about 50% S/L resistance S/L is very common damage, and the ability to reach 85% with it is something a scrapper/stalker can't do, not going for an achievable goal like that seemed like wasted potential. +4x8 S/L comic-con farm w/bosses is different from other farms, 85% S/L is really helpful there on a Bane which only has Rebirth as a self heal. 22 hours ago, Vanden said: Why Summon Blaster over Call Reinforcements? Razia
As always this is a smooth ride. I could already handle the S/L farm below level 50 without any purple sets. I wanted to see how it works and it did not disappoint. I did hit 50 some days ago and farming normal Portal PI mish (Council Earth) for some purples to sell and finish the build and to incarnate the toon.
Razia
Do you have any future plans for builds/guides? I really like following your builds as they are well thought-out. I really need to learn to make my own builds. Well I did with my Ill/Dark/Fire Troller, since no guide was available, but that was all about getting to 215% global recharge and therefore not that complicated. I plan to do a second build for the Bane and use the build you posted in the Crabermind thread. I assume I have to deal with the backpack even on the Bane then, right? Auroxis
Bane can hide the backpack. As for future plans @Razia, no guide is in the works though I'm still tinkering with builds. Also, the test server having some of its features disabled made me slow down with experimenting. I do have a lot of builds that I'm happy with, but didn't post a guide about them in the forums for few reasons: 1. There are already existing threads about the combo and I don't want to "claim" a combo that someone else is actively working on. For example I have an Inv/SS tanker build I'm proud of, but I don't want to claim one of the most popular combos in the game. 2. The build is too tailored to my taste, for example a Fortunata with a focus on DPS through claw attacks, when most people seem to prefer going for psi attacks despite the lower DPS. 3. I don't wanna manage too many guides/build threads due to time limitations. I expect that any future build thread I make will be more like the Empathy guide I made rather than threads like these which just showcase a build without explaining the logic behind power picks.
SlimPickens
is the 1787% regen number accurate in mids? Where does all that regen come from if so- conditioning? Thats insane levels of passive regen.
Auroxis
Comes from Rebirth, which on average puts the build at 500% or so but mids can only display the peak.
Draugrok
I took this build and tinkered with it a little. I was wondering why so much recharge? I haven't decided on whether to keep all the LotG's Recharge IOs just yet especially since I may be using Ageless Destiny instead of Rebirth. I also really wanted a travel power so that was worked in as well, though it came at the expense of patron power pools. I threw in tactics as well for some +ToHit and subbed out some purple sets to orange to make it cheaper as well. Still kept S/L resist capped.
