Hello! I would love to know the global names of all my super group members. Please add that as a column or perhaps replace the Prestige column with Global Name. Thank you!

I can't think of it being "that hard" and replacing Prestige Might be the easiest way to go (unless they're keeping that just in case), but I imagine that some SG lists might start looking a bit smaller than what they seem at first glance once all the Alts become more obvious.

If you have an immediate need to verify who's who on your roster, you can use /getglobalname followed by a character name to check one at a time.

Why would I need this? I already know my global!

I kid, I kid, yeah this wouldn't do much for my SG since it's just me in there but I could see this being very nice for those with big, diverse SGs and with the prestige column just taking up space these days, it makes sense!

SPOON!

Honestly I have an SG where 99% of my alts are in it and I'd be all for this as it would help me remember which toon is on which account (without opening Excel).

I don't see any potential pitfalls of this proposed change and it seems like a QoL improvement, therefore....

+1.

Though you could easily simply use the option to retrieve the global when the player is online, I can see how this might be useful to some that have a large number of players (vs characters) involved in a supergroup.

Myself, I would have no need for this options, so I can't really push for it.

More than everyone in my supergroups are already in my global friends list and I can see them online using that feature.

If you need the globals for communication purpose, I would suggest making a post for your your sg in the Shard/Server subform related to your sg and put the link to that in the message of the day for your sg in-game. This would give you more space to communicate than the sg message of the day. This might even give your sg more traction for gaining more participation in-game.

If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore.

(It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications)

Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case.

But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable.

Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.
