If a new team of level 1s start on Goldside how would different alignments affect mission choice or future mission choices?  Would teammates be able to select the same mission without breaking up to do so?  What impact would a blue or redsider have on the team?

For example 3 Wardens, a Crusader, 2 Power, a Vigilante, and a Villain team up, would there be any effection or affection for the Golds?

Teaming?  In Goldside?  Are you MAD?!

Seriously, though.  Interesting question, and I have no idea what would happen, because—well, see my first line above.

There is no such thing of that on Goldside.

Preatoria is faction based. The Resistance and the Loyalists.  Non Praetorians cannot start missions there, though they can join you on your teams. Their alignments do not mean anything since Praetoria is technically a Co-Op zone.

You can follow story and swap sides several times or stick to one, etc... Everyone can select same missions if you are Praetorians and on same faction. If your different factions you select certain missions together and others are different.

Not sure what you mean by Crusaders or Wardens?  Alignments system goes: Hero, Vigilante, Rogue, & Villain.

Crusader and Warden are the two Resistance storylines and there really isn't a 'Hero or Villain' side because depending on your character either side can be viewed as the villains. Though both Resistance and Loyalists have their extremists and moderates.

For the OP not sure how they would interact, depends on who the mission holders are and it may not have any impact at all. It may require repeating the final decision missions for each player if their running a "deep cover/spy" story arc.

One thing that will be required is toggling XP, especially while running a team because you will easily outlevel contacts in any of the storylines and miss those choice missions.

I use this to put a button on my toolbar to allow me to easily toggle XP off/on:

/macro_image "DayJob_XPBoost" "XP Toggle" "option_toggle noxp"

Dislike certain sounds? Silence/Modify specific sounds. Looking for modified whole powerset sfx?

Check out Michiyo's modder or Solerverse's thread.  Got a punny character? You should share it.

That and the final decision missions are single player only.  The Crusader and Power factions contacts are locked to their specific faction.  You must be aligned with the Resistance to access Crusader contacts and Loyalist to access Power contacts.  And as Zhym said, "are you MAD?!" :classic_laugh:

I would love to see a full group run Bobcat's "Hunt Down Shen" mission.  I can only hope the ambushes are at x8.  Bring your AoE!
