Almost hello

Almost welcome home

You've a lot to catch up on and learn. The game has evolved in the last 1.2 decades - by and large I'm pretty sure you'll find it's much improved. The community is tight, kind and loving. Watch out for @Snarky though... he can suck, in a very literal sense.

We have new powers, new missions and even a new AT.

The community isn't so bad either. Except for a few folk.. I won't bother naming them, you'll find them all by yourself 🤣

If going to space for 11 minutes makes you an astronaut, then I'm probably an expert gynaecologist.

Welcome back! Enjoy the game! Ask questions, try things and have fun!

Sky-Hawke: Rad/WP Brute

Alts galore. So...soooo many alts.

Originally Pinnacle Server, then Indomitable and now Excelsior

Welcome back!  I think you'll find that the Homecoming team has made a pretty fair number of changes.  Do you want advice for getting started?  You have five free costume slots from level 1.  Visit the tailor soon and make all the looks you want.  Costume changes cost Inf after level 9.

First thing enable improved graphics and increase world and avatar detail from 100% to 200%, if you got a great PC thete is a way to jack it up to as high as 2000% if you want. Haven't tried that yet because I just found out about it and just like you I just came back few weeks ago. I had no idea this game was back up.

PS: we need some kind of advertising!! If we are allowed to advertise that is.

Community could chip in $$ ? To bring more people in?.

Negatory. Sentiment is shared widely but against T&Cs.

Pretty sure that would negate our arrangement with NCSoft, though admittedly a lot of the arrangement is not known to the general players.  That leaves us with word-of-mouth, and getting gaming magazines to discuss us.  Signage from a biplane might work, too, if you own the biplane.

Welcome Home, @Rheckawrecka!

The first thing I normally point out to returning players is that many sluggish points of the past have been streamlined.  For example, the store-bought enhancements have been streamlined, and more powerful enhancements are available earlier, if you have the INF (money) for them.   This streamlining also includes travel options.  Make a point to find 10 exploration badges as quickly as you can, and the game will unlock the Long-Range Teleporter, which will give you a timed-reset option to teleport to any zone where you've already tagged an exploration badge.  The Oroboros portal access has been reduced from level 14 minimum, to level 1.  Ask someone near Ms Liberty to drop an O-portal for you to access and claim a copy for yourself.  Also, the devs have kindly created the Fast Travel feature (dark green "button") which acts like a menu.  Keeping it in your tray means that you don't have to clog the tray with any travel power that can be accessed through its menu.

You also may find a lot of useful shared info in this thread WuTang started last year:
