  1. Pretty sure this was never a thing. You can edit everything else about it though on the fly.
  2. Huh, I guess things weren't understood by many about the i24/i25 thing then. I was under the impression that we were running i24 as it was the amalgamation of the last live code (leaked) and that i25 was that plus post sunset mods/upgrades, but you guys were working on the (more pure) i24 code to build from.
  3. I'm guess it's because of the discrete graphics chip (only) as opposed to the iChips with APUs? The game came out before a lot of tech breakthroughs, so it's normal to have growing pains.
  4. I intentionally kept records of my old Alts for this reason. Many were on the Beta/Test server at Sunset so I have plenty that are still new concepts. Either way, I'd say both TBH.
  5. So I got around to testing the issue and I figured this was my problem. The portal was recessed into the raised floor. Not remembering how to control the z-axis on items yet I ended up moving it around the room and got it to resnap into place on the flooring. Now there's no issue at all.
  6. Hopefully I'll remember to look here again (if someone answers) as I've the same issue and I'm on a 40" 1080p TV. I'm sure that it's possible that wearing my reading glasses Might help, but what's the fun in that? :p
  7. Yeah, there's like 4-6 "Save File" buttons in the options menu. It took me a few alts to realize the game was also auto-loading them onto a new alt once I'd successfully saved them at one point as well.

  10. I don't remember CO specifically, but after Sunset I tried to play the other games. I even Beta tested the Marvel one and they all felt like my Marvel:UA console games. Lack of character personalization was big to me as well as what felt like a more WoW feel to the community/ingame.

I beg to differ as I took screen shots of characters from both live and Test/Beta servers from the OG before Sunset and a handful of (I'll have to go figure out which) things are missing (or I simply haven't been able to find). Also, the Icon app feels like it's not quite the same ver of editor as our current Live distro.

  14. Shut down your background apps and test. Whitelist the game's root folder in Defender and any 3rd party AV. Throw some core specs up here too.
  15. Somewhere it's stated something like "we want to eventually provide what's needed to make your own server" IIRC.
  16. I'll have to login to check on your examples, but it took me a while to realize that the symbols had a scroll bar for some reason.

  19. O.M.G. the chatter in Help is too much. I want to turn it off, but I'll see something worth replying to (as soon as I remember HOW) on occasion.
  20. For a frame of reference: During the Sunset period I "tested" my i7's APU to see just how much it could do. Now I don't think I was getting Ultra (with everything else shut down), but I was getting good enough to play without really stressing it out. I managed to get something like 7 concurrent instances of the game running comfortably (at <10FPS :p) before I ran out of RAM. Desktop (so it let me allocate sys RAM) Win7 x64 16Gb DDR3 i7 3770k (something between 512Mb-1.5Gb allocated to the APU) Since you have a more modern APU, then you should handle one instance just fine, but I'd turn off any non-essential apps from the tray.
  21. Yeah. I've seen a handful over the years mention that they do it this way, but the mapping must be hell.
  22. I don't think the game really works that way as the files are stored on the servers (unlike our UI settings files/binds) and currently the bases don't work right anyway, so you might break your new base if they tried.
  23. I think they way it was before worked just fine/the best TBH. The PvP/PvE doesn't really work for this game though as individual zones are that way.
  24. I can think of like two things and they're Both PvP zone related (Badge Hunting of course). So similarly to what someone explained doing earlier here, there was a small group that would TP you as you zoned into a crate (they MUST have been using binds for it as it was near instant) where you would then get pummeled. First time, ok that's just for being in PvP zone, fine. 2nd time ok, this is annoying. 3rd time, we had a discussion about "can you just Please let me get the badge and go?" 2nd one was a bit more juvenile, but nearly like the above. Basically, someone who back then we ALL knew was a jerk overall decided to follow me through the whole zone and repeatedly KO me as I hunted the badges. Unlike the above where they decided to play nice, THIS person wouldn't stop and was even being a jerk otherwise. So getting tired of it I gathered a group of PinnBadges peeps from the chan and we mobbed KO'd the crap out of him (don't think he honestly cared) until he left the zone (I think). Sure, I know the other side of it, but the badges are there, Everyone knows about it, but some people just have to be jerks about it.
