  1. So far this year: XBsX Halo Infinite Completed Campaign PS5 Astro's Playroom Kinda of addictive, good for helping to understand the controller / console Subnautica 1 Restarted game 'cause saves don't transfer Probably completed like 60-70% of the game Subnautica 2 Restarted game 'cause saves don't transfer Probably completed like 40-50% of the game Horizon 2 Am sitting before the final battle, but still have a bunch of side quests to complete (all the ones I don't like) Cyberpunk 2077 Created a new character and I think it was mostly to play with the CC / new console TBH as I haven't actually played the game since last time Death Stranding DC Purchased, completed the PS4 version, need to play this one Elex 2 Purchased, need to play Maquette Came with PS+, need to play Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Purchased, need to play PS4 Tina's Assault on Dragon's Keep Beat it, again, but this time the stand alone version Stranded Deep Purchased because a friend liked it, but the game's really low budget and poorly built, so not sure I'll play more than the very frustrating hour I've eeked out Wishlist: (Things that release/released this year) PS5 Lego SW: The Skywalker Saga Tiny Tina's Wonderlands TBH, I've been a little TOO loose on spending this winter for someone using a dangerous level of FMLA, but I think that's some sort of coping thing. I got my consoles without terribly drastic measures (even got one for the sibling at retail) and I'd already planned on getting the bulk of what I've bought, so it's not like everything is squirrel shopping. That and this barely dings my credit lines, so it's not like I've introduced a large bill to my monthly requirements.
  2. Same, Except for Worlds, I've played just about all of them I imagine. I've even gone and purchased the ones for themes I'm really not into to get that itch/trophies, but I found that those take me longer as I don't fully enjoy the theme.
  3. Lego games are good trophy fodder and comedy gold. 😛
  4. Even excluding the creative alternatives, this was never an issue AFAIK. Hell, for some of My alts (partially to avoid licensing issues) I've done things like use the character's "normal name" that would be so obscure only the fans would know. That or some creative variant on the name itself. I'm not the most creative of the bunch (by a mile), but I've had little issue with names in this game Live or otherwise.
  5. I had been playing some Subnautica (1 & 2), but then Horizon: Forbidden West came out and I've been stumbling through it for a bit.
  6. Aside from CoX of course... What's on everyone's "Now Playing" list?
  7. Simple enough really, downdetector.com
  8. Just reviewed the downdetector again and century link still seems to have some spotty issues like yesterday.
  9. Bit of a stretch, but generally traffic will get routed around trouble spots.
  10. That node appears to be somewhere east of France if I'm reading the map right. :p
  11. Without stretching my Actual knowledge on the topic, they all share the various backbone sections of the internet, lease lines to eachother, etc, so seeing overlap is likely.
  12. If you guys weren't aware, you can actually report your issues on the downdetector site to make it more accurate.
  13. Yeah, 100% packet loss on any of the nodes would do it.
  14. Either that or try hopping on your neighbor's cable/wifi. (no, don't do that >.<) It's just one of those things, but it's better than when I lived up north and the squirrels would dig into the roadside cable box (knocking us out for the whole weekend until they sent somebody).
  15. Wow, mine launches faster than I even expected when clicking (mind you, I'm not having issues), so yeah, it really sounds like it's just good ole internet routing issues. The internet is literally like a highway/web in that if the path you take has an issue Somewhere, then it'll act like a roadblock unless the connection gets rerouted elsewhere, but that's up to the hardware between you and the servers.
  16. It's all in the routing to the servers. :/
  17. Manga also provided a place to check your general connection: https://proof.ovh.net If the Ping is in the triple digits or the other numbers are super low, then it could be more local of an issue.
  18. While not widespread (IE: Not 'major') Century link appears to be having issues right now. https://downdetector.com/status/centurylink/map/ I've looked at the other major ISPs and they all appear to be having low, but correlating issues over the last 24 hours based on the above, so you guys are likely in those affected areas (if this is the only issue).
  19. Looks like @GM Manga is troubleshooting in Discord... Looks like the IP for the login server is 51.161.76.201, so if you type the following into the Windows Run command, then you should get some output, but at this point (unless you don't use it), I'd suggest going to the HC Discord and interacting with them. Windows Command: pathping 51.161.76.201 If this fails somewhere, then it'll suggest that there is an outside network issue. Important: For your privacy, Please remove any personal information from the output of that command if you post it here or otherwise.
  20. Something that came to mind just now. Normally happens only on the first launch (fresh install) of either launcher, but most AV software (even defender) will send a popup asking if you want the game to access the internet. This popup often is BEHIND the active window, so unless you know to toggle to that window, then you'd never know it exists to give it approval. This occurs even when whitelisting the whole game folder.
  21. What happens when you tell norton to pause for like an hour and try to launch the game?
  22. Something is filtering your internet traffic from the looks of it.
  23. *pokes @GM Impervium* Because I can see you :p
  24. The following would help if everyone puts it here for when a GM (or someone more used to the issue) chimes in Platform OS Launcher type Device security in use General location For me that would be: Macbook Pro Catalina HC Launcher OS security / no 3rd party apps Eastern USA and PC / Desktop Windows 7 HC Launcher Windows Defender & Webroot AV Eastern USA Again, this is for reference as I 'can' log into the game just fine and am not having any general internet issues otherwise on any device right now.
