Just in case someone asks it, don't forget to unzip the whole folder first! Also, the "binaries" look like the contents of the old Mids folders. Why couldn't we just drop that in a folder and create a shortcut?

I can't see them working well with Hide, but I can see them helping if you've AS in a group and then activate them as defense.

The only reason this should be happening is if you don't have full permissions of the installation folder or it's installed in a protected parent folder. It's heavily advised that it be installed in something like "C:/games/coh" as opposed to any of the "program files" or "My Documents" type folders.

I don't think people quite understand what this is really. They're like "ok, it's the old forums", when in fact it's all the old archives of builds, tips, tricks, and such. Most of which will still be valid on any server. Does it have limited value? Eh, no less than the Paragon Wiki as each server eventually splinters.

Chiming in (again) to mention that you may Also have a graphics card overlay software already installed on your computer. In my case, I have an NVidia based card and it came with the GForce Experience software that happens to include a screen capture function as well. I didn't honestly know/care about it, but I do manage to trigger it on occasion as I'm playing the game. :p

For reference, I have two blue porters, one red, and one for things like Echo zones and Gold zones.

Delete if this isn't something you guys want on the forums, but... For those who'd like something more powerful than this GREAT suggestion from Hyperstrike, I've been using this photo editor for decades now (and by use I mean like 1% of what it does) and it makes screenies real easy to do while in-game. The link is something I just now found when looking for something "fair use" (this is old, but modern) as they make new versions and retire support for old ones over time. When configured, you can simply use the toolbar controls in the app to activate a continuous screen-shot function (each combo keypress = a new image) that works independent of the OS's or the Game's keybinds. Imma go cry now because this is Newer than my version. >.<

Try reinstalling the VM first, then the update and see if that helps. Make SURE to overwrite files as it asks.

So obviously something's different between the old app and the new one with how files are arranged. I figured I was going to simply see this installed in one folder and be able to move it to another, but at a glance it's a spider's web of folders and files. Since this is related to a non-Server specific task, then Titan may in-fact be willing to work with it. What they Don't want to do is be aligned with any one server if for no other reason than keeping separate / fair / self-preservation.

Just took a glance and something stabbed me in the brain...are you using the old fair use images from that package they used to give out for fan sites? If not, I'd look for them to avoid issues.

The problem with this is the reason many end up sitting there so long is the costume designer. You'd have to split it off entirely at which point the load would center around say Icon.

I do have a habit of thinking up concepts/RL solutions that don't exist (normally products) yet. Now if Only I'd remember to patent them! >.< Then again, I do 'try' to make it come across that it's a fuzzy remembrance instead of solid fact unless I can verify otherwise.

And this is why I don't mind being corrected (because I know human memory can falter). This is probably what I was grasping for. I know there was a thing where you'd place something and you could just keep going without searching. Now if only moving from one room to the next would stop changing your spot in the item listing. I know it used to before as well, but now that the rooms aren't typed, it's kind of annoying as I find the right angle to view from.

This was my thought as I thought it was dif based TBH. I "think" I've seen as many as say 1:10-15 standard NPCs. I know one mish had like 5+, but it was laden with counsel. Found this, it has numbers.

Well when half the server is dry-humping Ms. Liberty...things start to tilt for sure. If they'd be kind enough to lose the pets and AoEs, then I'd bet that'd have an impact, but overall there's just so many people. AP often has 5 instances compared to like 2-3 for the other zones.

Yeah, I remember (FF?) back in OG where snipers were just as bad in general as Qs have always been for squids. You'd be flying a Little too close to a building and BAM, down to the city streets you go.
