  1. IDK, instinct says it feels like a bad idea. I mean, sure, why not unlock something account wide, but then again, what if you wanted the challenge of getting badge X on alt D in which it's More difficult based on inherent design differences. Like, IDK...a healing brute? Things like accolades and badges have encouraged people to have dedicated alts for these tasks causing them to be creative in their design choices, Bio's, etc. Some of the accolades even intentionally encourage teaming (pretty sure, no quoting!). IDK, I'd rather not TBH.
  2. Heh, I remember the discussions about which pets were more well behaved in this manner. :p Also, I think this setting resets if you're too far away.
  3. I don't think you could do it as an add-on map either as that would require that there be an existing map to override.
  4. Why yes, yes I Do. I vaguely recall the extra toggle, but now it's just a single toggle that detoggles everything. Which is fine for the build so far as it's great for the RP factor and awesome for swift travel.
  5. I've never tested it, but it could have something to do with the base permissions as well. More than likely it's an unintended mix of old red-vs-blue code and big-family code.

  8. In case anyone comes across this and is on a Windows computer. Here's how to force the size. While I haven't tried it, this is a literal copy of my registry settings for the game. I play in 1080p and full screen. Once this is done you can change things in-game. Copy the following into Notepad and make sure the extension is ".REG" Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cryptic\coh] "screenX"="1920" "screenY"="1080" "screenX_pos"="0" "screenY_pos"="0" "maximized"="0" "fullScreen"="1" For the less certain, if your screen Isn't 1080p, then simply change the numbers accordingly (higher number for screen).

  13. Falling for that Lifetime/Annual sub thing in OG pre-sunset, but also having to have done so Before the cutoff point where they'd refund. I think I sunk like $200 in the last year (not counting the PC I'd JUST built).
  14. So we already know the "Show new replies to your posts" is broken, but lately the "Show unread posts since last visit" is either broken or only now working as it Used to show all new threads and/or replies. Now I'm barely getting a single page vs upto 9pgs of replies per day.

  17. Heh, was browsing the threads and this made me want to post a thread asking people to contribute to a "Mod folder structure" list. Edit: So if you unpack these into their own folders, then the structure is VERY apparent and rather intricate. In fact, I think it would help those looking to expand the client-side mods to look into these for reference. I've noticed that one of these actually has easy to read bmp files to match the texture files as well. Now I have to decide which I wanna use!

  19. I'm not a numbers person really, but I do have a REALLY big (for me) request. Can we Please find a way to have the UI scaleable. Specifically, the ability to make everything larger when the window is made larger/full screen. As it stands, I have to double zoom my screen to read things clearly. This is not a new issue as it was still kinda hard to read on other computers in the past.
  20. A thread elsewhere has answered this in a way. "Mids has asked that this work NOT become open source..." is the sum of it. So unless a from scratch project is what you're doing, then it's probably going to get some flack.
  21. I was part of one once and someone threw out a GM and clobbered him in nearly an instant it felt. The health bar never changed and the Only reason I knew he was gone is because I'd received the power for it. Weirdly enough, that power disappeared from my tray later that night and I'd only used it once out of the 3(?) uses.
  22. Yeah, it feels like it's possibly been this way for a long time and perhaps there Could be an after affect from the que adjustments. I'm on Win7 as well, but IDK how it should be faster on Win10 when it Should be a server side issue.
  23. Thinking back, this is an old bug not isolated to the door as well. Basically ANYTHING that has a large-ish moving visual has a good chance for atleast a temporary bug where the moving bit will stay behind even after that component is deleted. I remember it happening to the Arcane power things a lot as well as the fancier portals.
  24. This makes sense as a package file is basically one big folder/zip file wrapped around an app's data files. The internal structure also makes sense to mimic the windows tree structure to allow the drag/drop compatibility.
  25. Also, be careful just how close the portal is to a wall or you'll spawn outside the room and can't get out unless you log or enter the editor.
