  1. With the end cost going from 3 to 1, not a huge concern. But yes, i had the same thought and bought 10 of those =P
  2. Build 3 Not sure if this is a bug or intended, buuuut... If the TK'd target dies to something OTHER than Levitate (usually by dealing some damage to them before using TK and AoEs), the power stays active on the gathered foes, keeping them immobilized. Levitate doesnt seem to continue to do splash damage on these foes, though.
  3. So, New TK again. Even with the shut-off-on-hit now working (sort of, going to hit up bug reports in a moment), TK + Lev AoE is still an effective combo. Castellum Quarter, Cimerora, on my Mind/Kin. Using a set-up strat of Mass Hyp and Fulcrum Shift, I then fly above the crowd, hit TK, and follow up with Psinado, Terrorize, and Levitate. This USUALLY kills MOST of the +3 spawn. But then I spend a solid couple minutes picking off stragglers. This is a bit more effective than picking up Wall of Force from the Force of Will pool for a 3rd AoE. If I rearranged my build to fit that in, I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be much left of large spawns. That this is only a roughly once-a-minute combo is fine. If I'm on a fast moving team, this set-up takes too long and has too many points of failure, so I'll just keep doing what I always do: pew-pew with my single target attacks. It's not the hugest game changer, but DAMN does it FEEL good! There is ONE thing, though: I see the power grants the target a fly speed. Guess what happens if said target is immune to both immob and repel? THEY FLY UP AT ME AND STAB ME IN THE FACE! x_X
  4. TK: Honestly, if I could choose the higher end cost in exchange for the power not shutting down when Levitate is used, I'd do so. FWIW, with the auto shutdown at 30 seconds, the 3.1 end per second probably wouldn't drain an end bar on its own, so I think the cost is worthwhile for additional AoE damage. Additionally, TK+Lev'd foes now land on thier feet, negating the soft contol aspect of Levitate. So while I love the extra damage combo, I'm not sure that the powers also working against each other is warranted Still, I'll test it out and see how it feels, and post some proper feedback in the focused feedback thread.
  5. ^Title. The game has a number of bangers that can be used as additional jukebox music choices: Rikti mothership area, Studio 55, the middle of Recluse'sVictory, etc. Would be nice to be able to play those on demand! EDIT: I meant to say "boombox", but i had a case of t3h dumb when typing this
  6. So, two things. First, using TK on sleeping foes wakes them up, even though it doesn't damage them. Hard to tell if it works this way on Live since it's a hold. Second, when I get held, TK stays active. I feel like that probably shouldn't be the case.
  7. I mean, honestly, maybe the best thing to do is have the currency be invisible, like some tracking badges. The more of it you have, the higher chance you get a pet drop or a Prismatic Aether. Once that happens, the currency is spent, and you're back to the default chance. This removes currency bloat, but rewards people for continuing to engage in GM hunts by giving them a higher chance at an eventual reward. And players are none the wiser, with no additional currency mucking up their salvage window. Just an idea to help "meet in the middle", I don't really care about the extra currency

The main patch notes read: When your Telekinesis is active, your use of levitate on a telekinesis-anchored foe will cause your levitate to hit in an AoE and your telekinesis power will be deactivated. But the blurb up top of changes between builds doesn't mention this shut-down. Mind Control > Levitate: Using this power on the main target of your Telekinesis toggle, will cause it to spread its effect, damaging multiple enemies In-game, the shut down doesn't occur. What's the intended effect? (for the record I prefer it to NOT shut down TK, it already does so on a short timer and long recharge, but I'm honestly already over the moon about this so w/e) Also, the AoE damage splash is about a half second to a second delayed past the main damage. Is this also intended?

  13. I would also love this! That said. There's a huge technical hurdle to achieving this. The "easiest" way would be to just have an inanimate NPC, but that data currently isn't saved in bases (which is why npc civvies always look different). I think the devs have expressed interest in fixing this, so maybe maniquins wouldn't be far behind. The hard/inefficient way would probably be to have EVERY costume part available as a base item, to place how you want. And of course there would need to be three of each, one for each body type. And have fun finding and placing the pieces you want with this clunky-arse editor! So again, not saying I don't want this, but I feel like with the amount of work it would take, maybe we shouldn't hold our breath =(

  15. Well, that's the thing. For general content, it's fine. Get on a team, summon your pets, use your holds, leverage your secondary, and you'll do well. When people say it's not good, it's because no, you won't be able to solo a +4/x8 map in record time (or maybe at all) or solo a Pylon, or defeat Tyrant with only 3 other players, or achieve any other ridiculous stunts that honestly NO ONE should be able to do...But it'll get you through the rest of the game the way its meant to be played.

Except for the 1 hour a day where a bunch of heroes show up for the EXPRESS PURPOSE of antagonizing the Hamidon. Just because some of them want to be able change the color of thier underwear while waiting for the eldrich abomination to arise. Sure. I'll get RIGHT on that!" Rp/in-universe logic aside, I'd still like something like this, too =)

  18. Since we're making changes to APPs, I don't suppose the Psi-Nexus pet could replace World of Confusion in Controller Psi Mastery? Asking for my otherwise-petless Mind Controller. (Yeah yeah, I already know the answer is "no" ;_; ) Also not a huge fan of the Psinado changes, but in practice it's not too bad (the area nerf would be a problem, but TK solves that for me now so it evens out).
  19. Bah! He's soft on crime, his government is an argument away from completely dismanteling itself, and he lacks the political will to reclaim the vast nuclear arsenal that HE LOST CONTROL OF. On the other hand, his laise-faire policies have allowed unprecidented scientific research to unfold from both Crey Corp and Aeon Corp, he has a surprisingly permissive attitude towards protestors, and his litte "haven" for so-called "villains" helps keep them out of actual civilized society (most of the time). So, okay, I guess he wouldn't be TOO bad...

  21. I mean, doing more damage in situations where I wouldn't be getting Containment sounds nice... but then again, seeing TWO orange numbers pop up over a baddie's head makes my brain make the happy juice. So, I'm torn.
  22. Just send the GMs a support ticket (either ingame, or there's a button on top of the forums), and they'll usually get you squared away within a day or so.
  23. I wonder if, instead of requiring "roles" (some of which are arbitrarily assigned... MMs and their buff/debuff modifier of 0.5 as "support", lol), the system just checks for at least 5 different ATs. That would alleviate some of the concerns listed here, and not "pigeonhole" villains into the "wrong AT" or over-favor EATs.
