  1. Scrappers at 50 Dual Blades/WP My main and badger; DB is fun if you don't mind combo mechanics, though can be ignored. WP doesn't have good debuff resists, but great recovery & regen if not debuffed Psychic Melee/Regen PM will tear thru some mobs, and stall out on others. Regen is great for solo since you will almost always be at full health & endurance between mobs. Easy to get overwhelmed, but you can dive out of a mob and get quick respites Claws/WP Claws is just a fun set Dark/ Bio Dark's tohit debuff is helpful if end hungry. Bio can help with that. Bio is pretty versatile Energy Melee/Energy Aura This combo might be one of my more survivable scrappers. Near caps on resist & def and hits really hard. Street Justice/Bio Street Justice is another fun set Broadsword/Shield A classic combo. End hungry at the lower levels iirc I don't tend to do much with sets until they get to 50, though I'll often throw a perf shift +End if endurance is an issue. I also have a bunch of different permutations with Brutes. For solo stuff, they're almost interchangeable and I usually pick which AT based on concept though looking at my stats, I have twice as many brutes though I tend to play my scrappers more.
  2. Nope. Try to do anything with them and you get told they don't speak to people from another dimension. Dismiss not a possibility
  3. I think I have less than a billion in loose influence, but I have a pretty good stock of purples, AT and Winter enh, so to outfit a character usually only takes me a little shuffling of enhancements with a little bit of converting. Takes me longer to figure out how I'm going to outfit them and do the respec than the actual doing so.

    Earth Blast

Yea, with nukes, I'm not as anti-knockback, most stuff dies which is the point to grouping them. And a well placed meteor is great. My earth blaster tossed an extra KB in for extra fun.
  5. I noticed the previous bug report was also about Manticore, but I have noted it a few times on other TFs. Would have to see which ones it doesn't fail on. I would start with a couple "Board Transit" ones. Differentiate between the Board Transit ones that allow us to use Ouro, and those that don't. (I think there are a couple others besides MC, but not sure)
  6. Yep. I think if you go back into the bug lists, that was noted to still be an issue after patch. I hate leading teams right now because my system zones at sloth speeds, so rarely get to zone before someone goes in.
  7. And low sample rate, but got a 175 sec and 193 sec time on beating up a couple pylons for my EM/EA scrapper.
  8. The only drawback I find is that I keep having to turn off Energy Cloak when leading hostages, etc... Manhole cover is my main draw to do another shield character. 😉
  9. It does not need to hit. Currently playing a EM/EA scrapper and while I doubt I have it tuned to the gills, I'm pretty happy with the results. Haven't tried it out on a pylon though
  10. Out of 96 characters, depends on what I'm in the mood to play with. That said, I do tend to play a dozen often, but occasionally will bring out one of the others to tune them and play them more in depth to get all their accolades, etc... (And everyone gets logged in if a "Login for a badge" happens)
  11. Bah. I'm from the days when hacking was just good with computers. (Though I think we lost that fight in the late 80s) That's really my only criticism, granted I'm at the point where I can hand wave a lot so I don't get too annoyed anymore. (Many years of running computer security, mostly getting annoyed at developers making some holes easy to exploit such as executing files that shouldn't have any business being executed)
  12. Gamera! Gamera is really neat! Gamera is filled with meat!
  13. Vday tips drop, but eventually you'll get ones that say "We don't talk to people from other dimensions" and will not be able to do more. Can't dismiss.
  14. Not sure how relevant, but I patched the Blinky Glowie sounds long long time ago to be a bit louder and have NEVER had to redo it because of patches.
  15. My guess, not a coder behind the decision. Of course, most code should be ready for bad filenames.
  16. I think once I hit "get inf" and wondered what the heck I sold for 50m since a lot of my selling is just dumping salvage & inspirations for cheap on my way to get badges. (With the occasional enhancement that I crafted, but I tend to shoot for 2/3 going price)
  17. I like this concept. Get to work on the assets now
  18. On rewards, I found my fire blaster got the most bang for the buck in vmerits. Seems to be she just needs to do AOEs and hit as many targets as possible for best results.
  19. Ha! Same issue. I renamed the files and it worked fine. Did you download the zip or copy?
  20. Testing on one of my systems with fourth iteration and got this error File "texture_library/GUI/Icons/Enhancements/E_Icon_Assassin_s_Mark_ATO.texture" is misnamed, containing texture named "E_Icon_Assassin's_Mark_ATO"! E_Icon_Spider_s_Bite_ATO has the same issue. Which could be a function of my running via Linux, but it does look like if one downloads from your share as a zip, it helpfully puts the files into the zip changing any single quotes to an underbar. So easily fixed by changing the four files involved after placing, but might trip up other people. Once done, everything looks very good.
  21. I'll have to say, these look very nice. I may even install them. (I'm just plain lazy...)
  22. I agree. And what KaizenSoze said is true. I've occasionally slipped into a non-full Raid and clicked a bomb without being on the raid. Since there are 18 bombs on the ship anyway. Though I think now, you get a bomb credit if a team member clicks one. Thank you whoever did that There's also a fairly nice suggestion for it at
  23. Awesome. Scouting it out now. Feedback: First Mission: Captain Dietrich got stuck on the first door and wouldn't go further. I managed to get her into the first elevator by just barely staying in her range and clicking on a elevator. (Don't know what you'd have to do to fix that) Minor typo: "... the processor core from from the facility leader." Safe clue didn't come up, just pointed toward bookshelf Second Mission: Why Down at level 41? I'd have them all set at the same level. 44 if you want no incarnates involved. Voot! Fuzionette doesn't follow you! Third Mission: Faultline doesn't attack until after I grabbed a Vangaurd HVAS as well. (Another, probably not your settings?) Ha! "Soloed" U'Kon Gr'al! My tank led him over to eight Vanguard who chewed him up Final Mission: Will need to finish later So far, looks good.
  24. Based on on old table, but at least we know for sure the Twin team is accurate. Team # Mult XP % 1 1 100% 2 1.25 63% 3 1.5 50% 4 1.8 45% 5 2 40% 6 2.1 35% 7 2.2 31% 8 2.5 31% Granted, just judging that on testing with just two accounts so far. There's more that goes into the calculations of course, such as level differences. I'm sure it's way more complicated since the devs just went with the turning off XP, no extra inf. At least XP & Inf are easily measured. On drops, without looking at the code, we'd have to run a long series of tests. (I think a dev once broke down drop math, but would need to search for it) And while total is higher, it is then split up between. On the OP question: It seems to go a little quicker. I either run a claws/fire brute with a spines/fire brute, but I found running the spines/fire brute with a fire/spines tank worked a little better because the tank held more agro for the brute to kill. Two separate computers and I'd occasionally have the tank fire off stuff, but usually just on auto-burn.
