Three of my latest Pulp Heroes: Doc Shadow Illusion/Darkness Affinity Controller He's a mash-up of Doc Savage and The Shadow. Clark Savage Jr. + Lamont Cranston becomes Dr. Cranston Clark. The Masked Lark Street Justice/Energy Aura Brute Entirely original, and I rather like this one. It looks appropriate to the period with slightly-goofy colors and style. Masked Larks are real birds, so that works, as well. Hail Columbia Storm/Storm Defender I was thinking about this poem and trying to come up with a costume to set it off, but nothing looked right. Then I saw something similar to this one night and shamelessly ripped it off. I made some minor modifications to fit the period, but the overall look came from another player. I wish I could remember their name to give proper credit.

That’s weird, because I think the animation for the snipe (Direct Strike) is totally cool. The reaching up, grabbing lightning, and throwing it down on baddies, looks straight out of the MCU. Absolute badass. I also like looks of the AoE, Chain Lightning.

How many of the Star Warses qualify? "Duel of the Fates" is an astonishingly great cue from an otherwise terrible movie. I have a whole playlist of awesome movie scores, and there are a fair number of bad movies represented. (For a number of years I did movie and TV scores on Twitter under the tag #TrikeTuneTip, if you want to go down that rabbit hole.) One of the all-timers in this category of Great Soundtrack, Terrible Movie has to be Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. The score is epic and magnificent, everything that Kevin Costner's peek-a-boo accent isn't. Even more surprisingly is that it's by Michael Kamen, whose work I don't typically enjoy, but he crushed it here. Another one is Treasure Planet. I actually don't recall much about the flick other than thinking "meh" at the time. But the score by James Newton Howard is spectacular, start to finish. Oh, and John Debney's score for Cutthroat Island, the Geena Davis pirate movie. So good. One of my favorite movies of the early talkies is Captain Blood (I even had two characters named that back on Live), and it's pretty clear Debney was updating Korngold's score for that film. Which makes sense: everyone steals from Korngold, especially John Williams.

I believe there's a cream for that nowadays.

It’s someone’s brilliant base, styled as an expensive apartment/secret lab/garage. I saw it on one of Dacy’s videos so I went to check it out. Really amazing. By BB something. Each car is a transporter - blue one goes to Paragon, gold to Imperial, red to Rogue Isles, I forget where black goes. Genius all around. Highly recommended you scope it out. ETA - by BBBadger:
