Honestly, there's no powers in Bio Armor that I'd want to do without. You can probably skip charged brawl and lightning clap without issue, from electric melee, and possibly even build up, (if you build is tight, and you're willing to forego the extra damage and tohit). That being said, I don't know if I'd want to dip too heavily into both presence AND force of will. Maybe just stick with one, or use the patron/Ancillary power pools to flesh them out. Soul mastery has some great options, and I'm a bit partial to earth mastery, (I really like their version of quicksand).

In these trying times, don't discount the store-brand spam. Even Dollar Tree has a version, (though theirs contains plasma, which @Snarky might like)...

Power Pool Idea, not sure how feasible - Firearms pool
biostem replied to Thrythlind's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Do powers have to be coded specially to work with shields? It always seemed unusual or special how brawl and the origin attacks didn't make you sheath your weapon and had different aniamtions in such cases. Still, and off-hand/hand without the shield single pistol attack would be awesome! -
Electricity Affinity : Amp Up , needs a buff
biostem replied to Outrider_01's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
It seems like a ST ally buff geared more toward support characters, instead of all the ones traditionally aimed at damage dealers. It may not be to your liking, but having a diversity of buffs is a good thing, IMHO. You also already have empowering circuit that adds the damage and tohit, can benefit multiple characters, (possibly even yourself if it chains thusly), and is on a much shorter cooldown. -
@kelika2 is conflating owning the files/data where your character information is saved w/ owning the concept or IP regarding said character...
-
Yeah... we call that "dodging the question".

I am well acquainted with binds. Nice job neglecting the other part of the conversation, though.

Or just use the existing autocast feature. You haven't really justified your OP, though...

Would you create an exception for armor powersets with click status protection powers? You see, the devs have already said that, outside of certain events/instances, multi-boxing is allowed, so if anything, maybe address that, if your intention is genuine...

They could do a blind sort of stat panel, like "Most damage done, least damage done, average damage done, and your damage" without disclosing other players' names, so you see how you measure up, but no one else can...

What was that third word? Does it apply to CoH? 😛

It all goes back to communication - are they running the TF for the merits? For a badge? As progress toward an accolade? For the XP? To get WST credit? If they don't say, and you don't ask, it's not entirely on the fault of the one advertising said TF/SF...

IIRC, they've got a wrist/forearm gun that pops out, a back/shoulder one, and a chest/uni-beam animation, then the others just use existing hand/palm animations. I was also thinking that it could be some sort of hybrid set - maybe energy + fire.

Looking at the page in my OP, here are a few candidates: 1. Plasma Blast 2. Particle Blast [Shoulder] 3. Plasma Spray [Wrist] 4. Aim 5. Particle Spray [Shoulder] 6. Particle Stunner 7. Anti-Matter Ray 8. Charged Blast 9. Anti-Matter Beam [Chest]

Using the existing Praetorian Clockwork animations, I think it would be fairly easy to piece together an "Integrated Weaponry" ranged blast powerset. The exact numbers and effects would have to be tweaked, but I think it would be a great addition to the game. I don't have an exact breakdown of the set or its specific schtick, yet, (-regen/defense seems appropriate), but it would offer a nice alternative to energy blast or beam rifle, and there are plenty of powers. Your thoughts? Thanks!

Make Police contacts Telephone contacts?
biostem replied to RevDrDark's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
This got me thinking - what if the progress bar you fill up doing radio/newspaper missions was instead moved to the police contact or informant, and otherwise divorced from the radio/newspaper contact altogether. Add a blurb saying "The [contact] has a new job for you", with a related option to disable any such future notifications, then all should/would be happy... -
But how am I supposed to get support for MS Word or Hotmail, now?
-
This is such a stickler for me. Even with the alternate animations, it's the chief reason I haven't leveled any psi blast character significantly. This also bugs me - I'll cast the power, and while my character is done with the animation, they're locked from doing anything for another second or so. My issue is the internal debate as to whether I can correct the character using the remaining power picks they have, whether I should use a respec *now*, or whether I should tough it out to 50 and use a respec then or if the issue can be remedied via Incarnate abilities...

I'm rather enjoying Campfire Cooking. I initially liked Eminence in Darkness, but it's gotten silly to a fault as the series progressed.

There are a lot of sex-specific pieces that would look nice w/o any clipping issues, if ported across to the other body types. For instance, I'd like the barbarian belt shared between male/huge & female, (they are called the same but look quite different). I can understand certain chest pieces/details not being so easy, but the various belts, boots, and shoulder options should be much easier...

I find that most support sets hinge on 1-3 powers. To that end, I try to maximize their effectiveness in those areas. Yes, I also want to be able to deal damage myself, and if you want to hop between soloing and team play, you'll need that. For instance, I have an earth/pain controller that I was playing a lot, and I found that nullify pain, soothe, and world of pain were what I was using most often. For the first 2, 3 heals was really the most important, and a recharge in nullify pain since it had a slightly longer recharge time. World of pain was a bit tougher, as it offers many great effects. I wanted it up as often as possible, so 3 recharge went in there, and the tohit buff was a secondary concern, so a few slots went to that. Of course I wanted my control powers slotted, but as long as I always had something available, I wasn't too concerned with maxing their recharge. It's really a matter of balancing things and playing to your primary & secondary's strengths and/or compensating for their weaknesses...

A lot depends upon just how much I like that particular character - if I'm really into them, then I'll tweak and refine it, but I try to pace the rate at which I go through respecs. That being said, as of late, I seem to get hung up on that final power pick and/or the placement of 1 or 2 slots, rather than the bulk of the build itself. I really only care that the character is fun to play and that they have enough end to get through most fights without sucking wind...

Make Police contacts Telephone contacts?
biostem replied to RevDrDark's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Alternatively, when you go to use the radio, and it directs you to talk to said police contact, simply add an option to decline the bank mission from there... -
Infern-Operative

What do you do when a supposed "Super Soldier Serum" merely grants you some pyrokinetic abilities? You make liberal use of all the gadgets various governmental agencies have to offer. The result - "The Infernoperative": Regular look: And his covert/night-ops look:
