That would be a nice way of diversifying what regen has to offer, while keeping with the theme of the set...

I wonder if something like radiation armor's gamma boost could be implemented into fast healing - the lower your health, the greater the +regen bonus it provides. Additionally, what if the lower your health, the more quickly instant healing becomes available...

I wish we could get a variant without the 2 fans toward the top...

Scrapper taunt - give buff based on rank of enemy taunted
biostem replied to DougGraves's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Make the Scrapper's taunt-like power grant an increased chance of critting against the target, (either a flat amount or based on that enemy's rank), in addition to the taunt and -range effects. -
What I would recommend is dual pistols/radiation armor. Dual pistols has some great utility and is a very effective set, IMHO. Radiation armor provides a lot of great performance and survival tools right out of the gate. One thing I could recommend, however, is to go with level 25 or 30 generic invention-origin enhancements - they aren't very expensive, they'll do the job all the way to 50, (and even beyond),, and once slotted, you'll never have to worry about them expiring/turning red...

BTW, that costumes and backstory make me wish we had the actual Sky Raider jetpack as a permanent costume option, (tintable and without needing the temp power).

I find taking the fire or elec APP allows you to expand your abilities a bit by way of heal-other abilities, (doubly so if you're also rad armor). That being said, you aren't quite tough enough and don't have the aggro management tools to be the main tank, lack the full-on support of a defender or corruptor, and may not have the all-out destruction a blaster brings to bear. We're in the unenviable position of being "really good" but not exceptional...

That guy really makes fire look cool! (Get it, "fire - cool"!)

Lets talk - The negative part of the Double XP Buff.
biostem replied to Zewks's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I wonder how difficult it would be to have regular vendors/shops display the last few AH prices an item sold for, to give players some perspective on whether selling to the shop is a better or worse deal... -
@Braddack I can't get a good look at your character from that distance and with all the particle effects on - do you have something closer w/ the powers toggled off?
-
Sure, play however you like, but it can be objectively determined that certain playstyles are more effective or perform better than others. You needn't care about being more effective or better performing, but you then give up any leg to stand on, with regard to coming to the realization that your play style is less effective. It's sort of like screaming that your car doesn't work well because you put the wrong grade of fuel in the tank - "Don't tell me how to maintain my car" may be an argument you can make, but that underperformance is entirely on your shoulders...

Enable radio/newspaper missions in KW and allow the co-op teams to partake in them, there...

I refer to this as "soloing together" - if I can't get any sort of conversation going on a team, especially a TF, I get this feeling like a pit in my stomach, that this is gonna go sideways real fast...

Real connoisseurs knows that you use a flute for that, savage!

Lets talk - The negative part of the Double XP Buff.
biostem replied to Zewks's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I've had plenty of characters where they can "get by" with level 25 IOs for a good while, and place more value on my time, so the tradeoff of having to slowly perfect the build at 50 is worth it for me over spending that time in the lower levels... -
It's all good! I rolled a stone/stone but am still pretty low level, so will see how it goes. Thanks again!
-
"Narrow it down" may not be the correct phrase to use, but it certainly gave me something to think about. Thanks!
-
That explains all the painted portraits...

I don't want to derail things too much, but this piqued my interest - what primaries do you find excel with stone armor? Thanks!

Well, have you ever actually checked if you were sent to the exact same door in Steel Canyon every time? I mean, several of the doors are under buildings with signage outside, so if it's just a random valid door that you're sent to, then it is inevitable that someone will get one that correlates to a store...

I could see this - since Skyraiders have teleportation tech, a regular soldier would call for assistance/aid, (low chance), and you see the teleportation effect, which replaces their model with the upgraded, boss-tier power armor unit...
-
Y'know what would be a funny boss - a seemingly regular Skyraider engineer, who summons an "Assault Force Field Generator", which is a boss-tier enemy, possessing some powerful beam attacks, (maybe use an IDF Battle Orb model or something similar).
