This sums it up for me. The Sentinel can just keep trucking right along, doing consistent damage over time. Nuking a mob every spawn. My Dark Bio has 5 AoE attacks I can all the time. Six if you count Judgement. I dont get mezzed. I have good ability to heal myself and with Barrier T4 I'm very unlikely to die quickly. I find all my Sentinels fun to play. And thats whats most important to me. Fun. not a DPS spreadsheet. And for the record I have extremely high end builds on every AT in the game. But fun wins every time.

I have a few Sentinels and for all the negativity they seem to draw I find them VERY enjoyable to play. so far I have Fire/Rad Elec/Elec DP/SR Dark/Bio The Dark/bio turned out FAR better that I expected.. I'm probably going to try a Fire/Fire. I started one and then went blaster but I dont think I want anymore blasters. I am also considering Fire/Regen I have no Beam Rifle toon so I am considered Beam Rifle/Energy Invuln I also made a Arch/SR liked the blaster better.. might go Arch/Ninja instead.

Why not just reduce the XP in AE after you level 50, by 50%. It would take longer but you arent unfairly penalizing someone for reaching a particular level.

After thinking about this overnight. This is still a terrible idea. All you are effectively doing is relocating the community. People will just go back to doing the maps in PI that have existed since the inception of the game. All your going to do is move people from Atlas to PI. Thats all.

here is my currently solution.. since I didnt get Wind Control I have no incentive to make any more characters. Im going to finish off my last 50. I expect my playing time will be reduced dramatically.

sigh.. still no wind control..

I'll try and keep my ire simple. Let me play the way I want to play. Let me level the way I want to level. Removing it is NOT going to make me play more.. Its going to make me play far less. Im not 30ish anymore with lots of time on my hand.. im 50ish with a family and kids.. I like being able to login in. farm for a little bit.. get some levels and go to bed.. This seems like a "Blast from Statesman's Past" i'm going to make you play the game the way I THINK you should play the game.. and many of us remember how that went.

You know what bothers me.. I can turn Emp Merits into Reward Merits but NOT the other way around...

Same conversations that we had years ago. Farming has ALWAYS existed. Whether it was the Demon Map, Dreck Map, Council Map, Battle Maiden Map, Seige Map ( my favorite ), Farming Ritki with Ghost Falcon missions... I've run low level toons through PI many times nack in the day for farms. AE didnt invent farming it just made it more convenient less travel. more people farming in one place.. thats all. And that existed when the game was live. So nothing has changed. Personally im no longer interested in slogging through the 1-35 game.. did it... for years.. im older, have a family now.. and less time.. if I can jump on an AE and get a few levels. I'm good with that. What other people do with their characters doesnt bother me.

if Emp Merits and Reward merits can be traded within the same account Notice of the Well should be the same. I have characters sitting on many of these things and their Alpha is already T4 which makes the extra ones they are sitting on useless.

Agreed Im rocking like 50 ish myself and it would be a real Quality of life thing

agreed 100% you could even add Reward Merits and Emp Merits too

This would be a big help when we log in. We can see is this character near a level to get Emp merits.. its a QoL thing that I think would be good for many.

this should be something that is easy to proliferate. Many of the Water powers would port right over. You might need to add a few melee powers or borrow from other sets. But it should be easy to do.

I hope we see something good. I really need some inspiration to play more regularly
