  1. That's the Praetorian Shadow Hunter and the Primal Penelope Yin.
  2. Yeah when are we going to get the reactions back and the cool forum badges!
  3. Edit: Jokes aside, I'm okay with not being tracked to that level of detail, assuming it's even possible at all. I would imagine they'd need real time telemetry for each character to determine where they are located on the x, y, z grid and whether they've moved or performed a set action to define as currently played by a living person - maybe even some cool biometric security authentication feature they can store on remote servers in some country without an extradition treaty ๐Ÿ˜„
  4. Oh okay, so the Server Status page should say "Online Accounts" instead? And what about the Homecoming Discord 'Live Graphs" thread? Are these all wrong?
  5. The Server Status tab at the top of the page displays # of Players AND their Hero or Villain alignment.
  6. Its an opportunity to generate community interest on another shard, particularly one with the largest population of players.
  7. This is slick! Embedded link in the image ๐Ÿ”ฅ
  8. ๐Ÿ‘ From the HC Wiki: This badge is only awarded to characters of the hero or vigilante alignments. Although credit for this badge may be earned by villains or rogues, the badge will not be awarded to a character until they change alignment. This badge displays different names, depending on a character's current alignment. Dimensional Explorer on heroes and vigilantes Dimensional Plunderer on villains and rogues
  9. It's not "IF" - it IS a volunteer staff and they work on whatever they feel like. You can suggest ideas until your fingers give out, but if there isn't any interest from the developers in implementing your ideas, they are as good as dead on arrival.
  10. You may not need to worry about this question if the proposed changes get on to beta then make it through testing and on to the live shards. Making Siren's Call a level 50 zone I mean. @Terius
  11. What non-PvP zone level cap isn't 50 already? The tutorials? Edit: Nevermind, players can be level 50 in the tutorial zones too.
  12. I realize I've replied a bunch to this thread, so forgive my follow up here - and I respect your opinion AA, but I disagree with it. I consider myself an active PvPer and I do care if the zone has some 'character' to it - the Hotdog stand in Siren's Call, the pillboxes in Recluse's Victory, the giant hero and villain bases in Bloody Bay, and the Rocket in Warburg, they all add to the 'character' of the zone. It's kind of like stages in a 2D fighting game. They've got a unique feel and sound (some have awesome soundtracks) that add to the 'character' and overall ambience. As for the badges/plaques/shivans/nukes/etc being removed, I'm not against it, but I don't think it's right to remove all of the stuff that make up each zone's 'character.' I don't want to stray too far from the topic of the thread either, I realize Terius is well-intentioned and looking to get a consensus on their suggestion. Either way, I'll keep playing the game so do what is best for the community! Oh, lastly, I actually do badge too! ๐Ÿ˜
  13. It's the journey, not the destination.
  14. Your alignment needs to be Hero/Vigilante to gain credit towards the Day Job badge.
  15. PvP is a game mechanic. That's an important distinction. When people discuss the PvE or PvP player base - its by segregating the two between PvE and PvP that this misunderstanding develops. I PvP, I PvE. Where do I fit in this dichotomous environment? Can't I enjoy both? I enjoy base building, collecting badges, and playing the market too. Just because someone enjoys PvPing doesn't mean they don't enjoy the rest of the game too. Everybody has something they enjoy about the game that's why they play it. You may be surprised to know that PvP-focused builds don't always do well in PvE gameplay either, especially if the build relies on PvP IOs for set bonuses.
  16. I swear I logged in and took those today.
  17. Hey I went to the trouble of posting screenshots for you, the least you could do is show me what you're talking about.
  18. I guess that's one way to look at it. But fighting at level 50 gives me access to a lot more powers and enhancement set bonuses.
  19. ๐Ÿคจ PvP zones are PvP zones. That is an incontrovertible fact regardless of whether you choose to believe it or not. I screenshotted some in-game messages for you in case you didn't believe me. Message before entering Recluse's Victory via Pocket D manhole: Upon entering Bloody Bay, Siren's Call, Warburg, or Recluse's Victory:
  20. My take is to leave the level caps on each zone and don't change the enemy mobs. PvP npcs are some of the toughest enemies outside of incarnate or hardmode content thanks to DR values in PvP. They're alright in my book. Edit: I've been persuaded based on discussion with others. I would like option "2. Raise Bloody Bay to 30, Sirens Call, and Warburg to level 50" because I love Siren's and would like more zones to PvP at 50. But I did still worry about the npc mobs in those zones getting borked.
  21. Is there anything from pre-alpha that has remained constant and unchanged over the past 18 years? The game is malleable and changes based on intended and unintended changes.
  22. Only when not in a PvP zone or Arena ๐Ÿ˜„ Edit: What I said the same thing as Flea and I get a confused face ๐Ÿ˜ต
  23. Ha I never noticed that back on live! I figured the devs just decided they'd be an ingame character when they wanted to do an official event or something.
