  1. Imagine being able to go into the Hotel Geneva in Atlas Park (just across from Vanguard) and first floor there's a reception with elevators leading off, totally doable as the Loyalty Lounge in Nova Praetoria is basically a small version of that. Leading up to actual hotel rooms. Not the usual random thing but something akin to a cleaner version of the corridor/hallways with rooms off of it like you see in Captain Nolan's intro to Dark Astoria.
  2. I took a walk around it when it was released and then promptly went "nope". And all your points are valid.
  3. Beat me to it @TerroirNoir3!
  4. Have you seen the recent Superman?
  5. Well, I hope @Ankylosaur and @cranebump don't mind me saying this, not taking away from their (or my own!) writing, but sometimes you just get lucky and people spot your stuff and then go back to see if you've done more.
  6. Back on retail I got ganked by a few douchebags, sure. And after a while you knew who they were. But I also met cool PVPers, one (I wish I could remember their name) spotted that I was just grabbing a nuke and rather than just sniping me and taking the kill went to the bother of telling me I'd lost my Scientist (hadn't noticed it myself, it happens) and guarded me while I went back for her. They were there for PVP, not ganking. Respect to that.
  7. Well, you're possibly correct. Mostly I never see anyone there myself.
  8. Maybe. Maybe. But none of the Nuke Temps matches the Incarnate powers you get at 50, and they're not temps. So these days, apart from wanting Rocket Woman as a badge, I hardly bother going into the ghost town that is Warburg unless I'm specifically planning to do the OG LRSF where you face off against the original line up of the Freedom Phalanx with Statesman while being locked at level 40. So yes, maybe they might be nerfed but they really don't need to be.
  9. Well, if it was only even one zone I'd go for Warburg. That zone repurposed, with all the Rogue Arachnos, could be used to enhance the entire VEAT storyline. Hey, Devs, that one is free!
  10. I'm gonna refer to my Sporting/WWE style suggestion in the other thread. Treating it as sport imposes rules. Three strikes and you're out and so on. Now how a shard would build a league, build teams, all that whatever, Weekend games, that's a whole other ball game!
  11. Hmm. I don't play for PVP, not my thing. But it is for others. We have Arenas. Why not have WWE style matches? The "sport" of a city filled with super-powered people could be a version of that. Reported by the Newsies! The Red Daggers scored a decisive win over the Atlas Legion in last Saturday's Cage Match! Now with X points on the board the only thing between them and victory is the Penitence League and their 9 match winning streak! Different levels = different weight categories! One on one! Monday Night Footb...Superfight! Yellow titles for the winners! Merits? Nope. Open to abuse. Other than that? I dunno. I'd personally convert all but Recluse's Victory into PVE myself given the option. Especially Warburg.
  12. That's literally what I said above. I made a point of differentiating. Cinema theaters are all over Paragon and elsewhere. I was talking about actual theaters.
  13. Well yes, two, but they're technically the same building. There's none. The only theater I can see mentioned is from a billboard in Echo Galaxy, the Morway. And we don't know where that is. No hotels? The Geneva Hotel has branches all over the city.
  14. True. A ported copy of the Neutropolis one but true. Although it's apparently closed and there's seemingly only one in the entire city! Another thing. An airport. Well, in Paragon at least. The Rogue Isles has a tiny one on Sharkhead. Now, Paragon HAD one, at least according to a close scrutiny of the map, in Boomtown. But in the meantime, nothing. A train station. One that goes outside the city rather than around it. Oh, I don't know how we'd use it since we usually don't go to New York or wherever, but it's odd that a major city doesn't have one at all.
  15. And I'm pretty sure that the lone (again, not really) church in Praetoria is part of a State sponsored cult rather than say a "true" religious building. I had intended Temples and Mosques and Halls of Congregation to be included in the umbrella term "places of worship". Perhaps the various stone circles we see are such places? Who knows. Regarding the gods walking the streets? Well, if they don't have a cult/religion around them then no biscuit, I mean church-like building for them!
  16. Well, those depend on your side, Loyalist or Resistance, and Null won't do swapsies for ya.
  17. Having commented on the recent Day Job thread this led me to thinking about things that could have Day Jobs and that led to this. Ordinary things missing from the game that really should exist. First off. Fire Stations. Not a single one of them anywhere. And yet when the Steel Canyon fire alarm rings that Fireman shows up with his extinguishers. From where? Did he just carry them? He's not a super. Churches/Places of worship. Ok, possibly a delicate point given so many people's varied response to religion, whether for, against, indifferent or any shade in between. There's one (Kinda two but not really) and that's in First Ward. Plenty of graveyards though. Theaters. Nope, not cinemas, theaters. (Speaking of cinemas, maybe the signs could change every now and then?). We have the Theater District in Kallisti Wharf, but it's historical and there's none left. We have a theater building long since converted into offices in Imperial City, so none there. We have mention of a theater showing a production of something called "Mimi", but I have no idea where it is. Can't find it. Anything else?
  18. There's plenty of places existing Day Jobs could be proliferated to. Praetoria for instance. Plenty of Police Stations, no Day Job there. Train Stations, no Commuter Job there. You have to actually enter Pocket D to get the Clubber Day Job. Which is fine, because it's a Pocket D badge, but Studio 55 exists. A thing that I do find mildly inconvenient is the linking of certain Day Job Badges to get the Accolade. If you're aiming for a themed or RP style character then certain of the accolades are off limits due to the fact that the other half of certain accolades are only available in say Paragon City, when you're running a Villain/Rogue character. This has led me to ponder another thing which I'll post elsewhere.
  19. I'm pondering a sequel called "Or Give Me Death!" We will see what comes of that pondering.
  20. I've moved things all around that damn map in M3 and nothing sticks. And I kinda need that map so... As for M4? Have a look at it in test mode. No visible markings of where Front/Middle/Back are. So it works... until the AE decides to move it for some arcane reason. The other thing? Lol. Well I had to leave one in for you to find. That was a joke. No? Tsk, there's no pleasing some people.
  21. Took account of your suggestions in my tweaks, including a Do Not Spawn.
  22. Might use that contact again @Clave Dark 5!
  23. Had fun writing the contact.
