No idea to be honest. I've heard stories that the other version has some issues, but that's hearsay. Personally I'd like say a set of options rather than complete customisation. So maybe modern day zombies as well as the ones we get. Or Different uniform Mercs. Or whatever.

AH! As someone who has a Thugs MM, that look happens when you get the SECOND power of equiping your henchmen, Upgrade Equipment. Here's the progression. Initial Thugs. Then using the first power, Equip Thugs. Then the second and final power, Upgrade Equipment. The names? Click on the individual thug, or on the name that pops up in the Pet Bar, and select Rename! While you're at it, try using the following /macro "BG" petcom_all follow defensive That will give you a macro button for bodyguard mode, and at the very least is a fast way of recalling all your henchmen to you.

Alas, you might as well spend your time shouting at a mirror for all the good that will do! I've had those exact same thoughts too and still the Council scanner missions continue. Meh. However, this is most definitely NOT saying you should stop writing AEs! Yes, we might be attempting to mop up the incoming tide with about as much success, but ...well, I think it's worth it. That's subjective too obviously.

Yes I did actually. A while ago it seems because I didn't remember the details and went to check and there's that little tick mark saying it was played by me. I don't do what @Kyksie or @cranebump or @TerroirNoir2 do and write reviews though. I simply don't have the time. I just play. And for what it's worth I DO appreciate everyone who writes a story AE over a farm (though they have their own expertise as well). And Easter Eggs are appreciated! I put a few into mine and likewise, I'm damn sure most have been missed. Still, that's the nature of Easter Eggs.

As I said in my earlier post, if I enter a PVP zone to badge and get taken out, that's on me. I had more than enough nonsense though back in the day just trying to leave the damn zone after being killed. Yeah, you've killed me. Got your notch. Now I'm just trying to leave so eff off. No? Dead again. Oh well. There were too many of those versus that one guy in Warburg who saw me collecting scientists for the Nuke and instead of just murdering me just lets me know I've lost my scientist and backs off. Kudos to that guy. Again, MY ultimate frustration is not PVP in itself, as @Greycat says and with gritted teeth I agree, if you step in you agree to the terms and you ARE a target, but the total waste of zones on Redside dedicated to only PVP and a few badges. Go see Bloody Bay and Warburg, fly around (carefully!) and see they're awesome zones. They should be filled with plot and mission arcs. The entire Rogue Arachnos Faction is mere decoration! That's just wrong. The entire VEAT storyline (which gets weaker and weaker as you progress) could benefit from this zone.

I'll not wade into judging anything here only to mention the criteria that I aspire to when writing an AE, which is I want my AE to be as well written, if not better than (and depending on the arc that's occasionally a lower bar than you think) any of the in game arcs. We as AE writers don't have the full set of bells and whistles and so on that the dev team has, so make it as good as possible and try to be smarter about it if we can. I suppose that WAS a wade in, in a way. But there you go. That said, I HAVE played AE arcs that barely follow any of the boundaries I set for myself and I've still had a blast playing them.

Yeah, that's rare enough. I got lucky and a bunch of us there founded a Gold origins SG* which kept us teaming. *Origins because when we started Gold couldn't create an SG and needed a Blue or Red, but that's since changed so thanks HC! Currently still maining (slowly!) a Gold 50.

PVP? Not my thing. I've met cool PVPers and (mainly back on Live) I've met lots of gankers. But you know, if I go badging in a PVP zone and get ganked, that's on me to be fair. What REALLY annoyed me about PVP is the Rogue Isles has TWO amazing zones wasted on PVP. Bloody Bay and Warburg are atmospheric and cool and could be filled with contacts and missions, but no. Redside has ELEVEN zones* (including The Abyss and Monster Island) and loses two of them to a very niche part of the game. Blueside has TWENTY FIVE zones, of which only ONE, Siren's Call, is PVP. Recluse's Victory? Fine with that. Shared future combat. Not to mention the entire Arena system. Or you know what? Have PVE versions of the two zones as well as the PVP versions. If the Echo Versions of zones can exist, and the mini PI that is Monster Island, then that can happen too. And all the above doesn't include the Shadow Shard either. *Villains can access RWZ and DA and IIRC the Echo Zones too, but that still hardly fixes the imbalance.

Why was Statesman killed off again?

Only player characters are guaranteed to have mediporters. Anyone else may have them. They may not. And even that fact forms part of a story arc. -

It's even trickier than that though 🙂 She's bound to Arachnos, not Recluse. -
Why was Statesman killed off again?

People on here have in the past seen my rants about Praetoria. My personal Head Canon is that ultimately "Who Will Die?" was a Praetorian plot literally intended to take out the one man who could maybe go toe to toe with Tyrant. Recluse's fight against Tyrant is a fake out, so if he'd really tried maybe he'd have a a shot too, we'll never know. However, only Statesman would have tried to do it. It has its issues but it makes more sense to me than "Darrin Wade just happened to have this plan". -
Why was Statesman killed off again?
Darmian replied to OldSchool SC Fight Club's topic in General Discussion
If anyone has read the two COH novels, particularly the first one, Statesman is actually a pretty good character. It's a shame that portrayal wasn't ported into the game. (The comics are a mixed bag of "the comic writers weren't given any notes" or "the comic writers didn't care" to "no one sense checked this at all". All of those suppositions may be incorrect, but whatever, the portrayal is erratic and annoying.) -

I bemoan the fact that there's no real interaction with Statesman prior to the events in "Who Will Die?" I'd love it if the OG Statesman TF was still possible to do with him standing in IP, and only getting phased out/replaced by Ms Liberty AFTER you've done "Who Will Die?". Of course even if that were possible the LRSF would need to be tweaked as well. Fortunately for us the LRSF DOES exist again via Ouro. And oh yeah, that version can be tough. Hell, even an arc with a flashback scene involving him would help. -
