  1. Well so far I've only written 21 AE arcs but that's 103 missions. So I reckon that the in game content could be 10,000 actually.
  2. The ferries are all on the East side of Paragon. If you were to add one to KW then you may as well go ahead and add one to IP as well, given the layout of the map.
  3. Congrats to the winners! And Congrats to the organisers for running this. Kudos!
  4. There's a random glitch where sometimes you only see the default digital contact. So it may be that the contact IS there, just generic'd.
  5. In game mail.
  6. Why not morph the Red PVP zones to PVE (or maybe doppel them so there's a choice of "Warburg (PVE)" and "Warburg (PVP)" on the transit?) because frankly those places are dead. And ironically some of the best designed places in the Rogue Isles. Instantly more Red space. Leave RV as is. The entire meta of RV is PVP. For the rest it isn't.
  7. If you send a message to the GMs via the Option menu you can get more slots. @sandandchaos
  8. Yep. The plaque down from Statesman mentions this.
  9. I'm just wondering what you are going to use the new Rikti spaceship map for, complete with cannons, low gravity and a death zone!
  10. Little bit of prescience there!
  11. I think this is great. But I too will be sitting this out. I'm a staunch ally all the way but I can't tell that story from the inside truthfully. However I have a little experience with the AE so if anyone who is entering wants some technical advice feel free to message me. I may not be able to help but I'll try.
  12. And I'm hoping that they do publish an actual review. That would be nice. I stated earlier that I approached the article under the impression it was a review, and then I found out it wasn't. So I asked why wouldn't they do a review? Maybe they have one in the pipeline and it's going to come soon. I can only speak for myself when I say I'd have liked a full review of the patch, which included all the article, that covered all the items. As someone who has no interest in the so-called meta this article wasn't for me. And you know, at the end of the day that's fine too.
  13. Well I for one probably did misconstrue it. My train of thought went like this. Oh, there's an article on Massively dealing with stuff in the new Beta release, It must be a review. I'll go read it. Huh. Ok, that's not a review. Why wouldn't they do a review? Let's read it anyway. I don't know a damn thing about meta, it's not why I play. If this isn't coupled with a review then I'm not the audience for this. I hope they write an actual review later. Does it express concerned opinions that are shared by many HC players? I dunno. According to this thread and so on it seems to. Have I met anyone in game talking about this particular aspect of things? No, I haven't. Now that's all anecdotal and subjective to me and my tiny group so your mileage may vary. Again, I hope they write an actual review. And back to the game.
  14. Ok, you've fixed it. However sometimes the Custom Group doesn't appear in the list here. But don't worry, if you've saved it right then it IS in there. And you can try getting to it by hitting the Left or Right Buttons, like below. The AE has a LOT of quirks. Most of them apparently undocumented. Best of luck!
  15. So you're looking for individual Boss fights then? You need to select that and make sure that in the settings the Surrounding Group is set to "Empty". That'll remove mobs. Also make sure that the Enemy Group on the map is set to "Empty". Then it's just build your boss. You can do it via the UI in the AE, OR if you you want something a little more custom, check out the instructions in the following link. Bearing in mind that the customs provide no XP. (I normally just seed one into a regular group to mix it up a bit.)
  16. Sorry I missed it! I could have taken notes as you went along. Any pics?
  17. That was definitely a head scratcher of an episode.
  18. Hmm, I'm not sure what to make of the article. I'll explain. I and my tiny gang of IRL compatriots who play regularly, (COH helped get us all through Lockdown) couldn't tell you what a meta is if you paid us. And frankly that might be true of most of players. We play for companionship, story, Gits and Shiggles, and so on. None of my lot post here. I don't think they have logged on to the forum since they created their accounts several years ago! I only ended up coming here when I got interested in writing AEs and started looking for advice. So while the article is interesting, for people like us it tells us absolutely nothing about the new release. If you're going to review something I expect a review, not whatever that was. Now that coupled with a review might have me thinking "yeah, they have a point" or "No, that's BS". But I didn't even get that. Will there be things we like? Probably. Will there be things we don't like? Probably. Will some things have us scratching our head and wondering? Again, probably. But after reading this article several times I know nothing about any of the things me and my gang are interested in. What's the zone feel like live? What are the new enemies like? The arcs? Any comedic quirks or wackiness? I didn't get any of that. Yes, we could hop on Open Beta and have a looksee, but would you believe that there's a nice chunk of the population that DOESN'T want to spoiler things and so an in depth review sans spoilers would have been nice. It is what it is.
