  1. Yeah, it's totally possible to have both. Rare but possible. If you want more Praetorian "canon" check my sig for AEs. They're supposed to cover a gap between Neutropolis and First Ward as well as mentioning the War. Only three trilogies I'm afraid. Not done Loyalist Responsibility yet because I ran out of maps! Waiting for some additions.
  2. What about a link on the Bio to a section here detailing the player?
  3. Rain. We need rain.
  4. 100% agree.
  5. I agree with more information needed on the character. But this is Infurno. RIP.
  6. Ah, not all of them. There are a couple that remember you from Praetoria. Not enough but a couple. And it is possible to make it to 50 without leaving at all, though some on here decry that as "wrong". For instance you can get to First Ward and later Night Ward without Flashback by going directly to First Ward either through a base or by the Imperial Underground. Mission-wise you will need to have gone there by about level 24 probably. You can do the Summer Block Buster, half of which is set in an imaginary Praetorian Casino. You just need 3 others willing to start with you from PD/Any Praetorian zone/Echo Plaza. The ToT events are possible in Nova to Neutropolis right now. If you've gone beyond the level of the zone just take an Ouro mission and ...don't do it. Just knock on doors. Later on it's possible to do the ITrials. Thematically tricky if you're a Loyalist though! You have to start from PD/Any Praetorian zone/Echo Plaza. The Cathedral of Pain trial can be done too. Again from those three named zones. Belladonna Vetrano's arcs can be done via Ouro. And for the more completist of thematic Praetorian players (me for instance!) I wrote three trilogies of "near canon" AEs set at levels 21-25, attempting to bridge the gap between Neutropolis and First Ward. The fourth and final one isn't done. (See signature for more info)
  7. A guard on the portal will see for instance a Rikti pop in facing the wrong way, rather confused. Have time to sound the alarm and/or take them out.
  8. Excluding out of game "we screwed it up", all Vanguard know how it is oriented and it doesn't slow them down, while most others who use it go through the induction and get Member of Vanguard badges and "training" so they should have been paying attention. But if any enemies get through it and into the base then they spend a while facing the wrong way and piling up on each other. /handwave.
  9. Nictus 2 that I remember offhand.
  10. Nope. Of course you do. It may not be the writing/drawing/music spectrum but you do.
  11. I too have had have some thoughts on this. Whether they're "valid" or not is probably subjective. As the LLMs currently stand they seem to exist on a misunderstanding of language. We are constantly told that they are "trained" on material. Then a seemingly coherent argument is put forth that humans are also trained on material that has gone before, whether prose, art, music. This is true. Undoubtedly. But there the difference ends. Human training inevitably leads to experience and more importantly understanding. No LLM does this. LLMs are not trained. They are pre-loaded and given a set of algorithms to manipulate that data. So they remain a tool. And that's fine. But to use some paraphrases now. Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. What gets so many people (IMO justifiably) angry is that for the LLM the 1% is impossible and the 99% isn't the LLM's work. Standing on the shoulders of giants. The trouble with the LLM is they are standing on the shoulders of giants (all the accumulated knowledge and skill that can be scraped from whatever sources are available) without their creators acknowledging the rights of those giants, and in some sense more importantly, the LLM is still staring at its feet. It doesn't think. It isn't intelligent and it doesn't look up from that vantage point and it doesn't ask. Again, a tool Nothing wrong with tools. But these tools are being sold to us as more. They're not more. So we are in a mire of existentialist discourse where creativity is muddled up with copyright. The copyright thing? Humans have been stealing ideas from each other for as long as we've been human. That's another shadow war here. Ignore the LLMs themselves for now. Their creators, while talented themselves in that they have built these LLMs, are involved in copyright infringement. Can it be proved? Probably. That's a whole other kettle of fish that will need to be settled somehow. What started all this? A simple desire to share some images created via Grok. Nothing wrong with that. But we descended into vitriol about how Grok gained that ability, whether COH itself gave credit for the existence of super heroes and so on, to arguments about automation and the demise of buggy whip makers. People, can we for once, maybe not attack each other? An opposing POV is not a declaration of war and neither should it be posted as such.
  12. One or two of the later links don't connect to the story they're mentioning @Zhym. Just a heads up.
  13. And Gloryhound? I had to go and check the wiki!
  14. Added a pic to the blurb above 🙂
  15. Good teaming with you, @Blackbird4329! Dr. Caskett and her Robots rock!
  16. Some pics of the Team and in action!
  17. What @lemming said above, plus you do need to publish an arc once and get someone to play through it and rate it for both Recognized and Author badges. You can always take it down afterwards. And if you want the Early Bird badge then you need to be first to play a newly published arc by someone else. (I don't know if this is strictly newly published or just an arc that has no previous plays, and I can't test it because Early Bird is account wide so I already have it across the board)
  18. Go FULL DEFEAT ALL! Once you've killed all the enemies the map converts to PVP and you can't exit the mission until only one of you is left alive.
  19. I've adjusted that now! It says something along the lines of "The reception area is very quiet but the area beyond is full of activity".
  20. @Zhym, the Nav for M1 all start with Middle, because in a test run one of my IRL friends spent AGES hunting around the reception area with the stairway and bookshelves before I had to point out that nothing ever spawns there, even though it's technically the Front. And I really don't know why nothing spawns there. It's a pretty big space actually. You'd get a lot more use out of the map if that area was usable. And writers learn from each other! @Ankylosaur's use of optional escorts led me to use that in M2, which can really shorten the search time for an outside map.
  21. Well, that's unfortunate! At least you weren't spotted.
  22. And some replies!
  23. I head canoned it as a wealthy but obviously semi rural area, due to the university, nice housing and farmsteads. All that got a bit upended with the arrival of the so-called Fae.
  24. I'm partially imagining a Primal Earth "clean" version of Old Neutropolis.
  25. There really should be what I call "Nearer Croatoas" at the least.
