HC, thanks for all that you do! I feel it's tough for HC Devs to pump out a lot of content. So, once again, I would like to see a separate A.E. system used only to add missions made by players that are added into the REGULAR game and become canon. Players would be responsible for Wiki write up and info for the mish. Start with single missions (radios, papers, tips etc - repeatables). I know it's a lot of front end work for the Devs but it would allow them to implement other content. What other content? Glad you asked! Trials. We haven't had one added. Focus on that. New powers that are unique and different. I don't think Wind Control would be much different than what we have. Although I would love to make a Spleen toon... Some new power pools - many have been pitched so let's see some of them. I'd love the ability to have a sidekick and be able to completely design the look and have the ability to have this sidekick have a few different roles (range attacks? tank? heals? Pick one). Alternate name for the pool could be partner/minion etc. Some alternate options to incarnate powers. Have other options to Judgement (guns, rifles, missile barrage etc). Lore - much like the above pool, give players the ability to create the look of their Lore pets. I feel we have so many zones and powers. If Devs want to add zones, make a new TF/SF/Trial instead. If they want to add powers, make them something we don't have. Lots of other stuff but the ability to add new content quickly is my number 1. HC has been at it for over 5 years and things are great but there isn't a lot of new stuff to do that is really playable and really desired. I am not complaining as these Devs are volunteers - these are suggestions to help. Again, a big thanks to the HC Devs!

I hate to go off on a tangent but I have a toon named Holocaust and he's on the Excelsior server. I was part of an SG and some guy went all ape-shat on me for having the name. He then opted to go to Tells and decided he'd swear at me too. He claimed he is Jewish and this is very offensive to him. I opted to quit the SG and move on. I do see how it can be triggering but that was the only time I had someone protest over the name. So, heads up in regards to the Major!

I suggested this in a 'power armour' set. It seems they have the missile barrage animations etc in game so why not. Orbital Cannon was also a suggestion - kinda like Meteor. There are lots of other things they can add to Judgement so your gun or weapons based toons have some options that will match the theme. You could even change up Vorpal so it allows you to use your selected sword type. I also agree that there are some seemingly easy options here but I can't say for sure. I am not a coder 🙂

What would be wild is if you use AI to generate comic book looking images of your toons. THAT would be the tops!

I am sure something like this has been posted but ...whatevs 🙂 For starters, I am NOT asking for more incarnate powers. I am suggesting we have alternate skins/options to the ones we have. I feel this would apply to Judgement more than anything and I have some suggestions for the others. Judgement - I was hoping for an option/look that could fit the themes of different characters a bit better. So, if I have a gun based toon and I want Judgement, how about having an option where you can fire ION from a large gun, rifle etc? If you're martial arts then how about an option where your toon goes around kicking and punching in a made frenzy (might be a tough ask for this game engine)? Lore - I don't like to be attached to the CoX mythos so how about give us more options in regards to pet appearance. The BIG ask is have an option where we can completely design the look of the pet via the costume creator 🙂 The other powers that are visible could also get some alternate looks but these two are the ones that really stick out the most.

I think any TF/SF should be added to co-op zones so alignment isn't an issue. Having 2 versions of Khan is kinda weak. -
I don't think you could do a 2. Cost, demand etc. - likely not feasible. Honestly, I'd like to see Homecoming try some different stuff. I haven't liked their missions and SF and changing that up would go a long way - for me, anyway. Maybe one day A.I. will be able to make CoH2 for next to no cost!

It's insane to think this but I think many players are on the 'back 9 of life', so to speak. I think it'd be cool to have something. During Live, I suggested having an idea where one of the vet rewards would be having a statue of your 'main' put in a zone. You know, those old vet rewards where you'd get the samurai costume pieces etc over time. I wonder if the Devs are able to track the time an account has been logged in and offer this type of reward?

He's an incredibly complex character. He should've gotten the Thanos treatment with a slow, detailed reveal over several movies. He is the real big bad. I also take issue with how he was so weak in this movie. I know he just devoured a planet and it may not have been as nourishing but still...quite lame. To have him pushed into the device via Invisible Woman was insulting. It really was not a good movie. -

Well, I guess it's a bit more complex. Galactus doesn't seem to have an alignment in most cases. He consumes planets for his own survival - that's his sole motivation. He really should've had more dialogue and discussion with the FF. I've read Galactus stuff for a long time. I just didn't like the way he was portrayed in this movie. You suggest he is evil due to causing the suffering of the sentient beings on the planets he consumes. Would you characterize a hunter here on earth also as evil who hunts animals for sport? I can offer many other examples... -

Yep. Agreed. It was really poorly done. I thought the MCU wanted this to be their big comeback movie. Ah well. It really was a simple story with no depth or detail. -

SOME LIGHT SPOILERS. I saw this last Friday. I really liked the FF comics and the Byrne run was iconic. I was so looking forward to this movie. Then I saw it. Not good. It was a pretty boring plot and not well executed. I am absolutely baffled as to why they used Shalla-Bal as the Surfer. MCU is introducing an iconic character and they go with the second rate version that was around for ...what...a few comics?! Absolute misfire. They really did a disservice to Galactus as well. Glossed over him and then made him seem almost...evil...and did not really relay his motivation. I did like the aesthetics and look of the movie. Casting was decent - it would've been better to have a different Reed Richards but what can you do. I'd give it a 5/10. MCU is in trouble IMO. -

I used to be a Hulkamaniac back in the day. Then we found out how he had a lot of...warts...and he became one of the more disliked wrestling personalities over the last little while. He was the Imperfect Hulk Hogan. He was a big part of my childhood. I'll always fondly remember those days. RIP. -

Agreed. However, that's not exactly how your post reads. You seem to praise heavily in the start then note the editor would be a big help. I am sure you can see how that's a tad contradictory. I do agree editing would help.

All fair points. However, you seem to kinda contradict yourself when you say you 100% enjoy these story arcs (you seem to use a lot of italics...you may want to check your keyboard) but then conclude by saying HC could use an editor. I do believe the massive amount of text is a huge issue for me on these arcs as well. I'll also add that I play an MMO to team up...not solo. So, that's my 2 INF. Astute observation where you note my examples (DFB, trials, Yin) are not arcs. I am fine by telling the story by using these styles and having more succinct text. I am sure most haven't played a lot of the arcs you mentioned. Why do you suppose that is? Why do you not see arcs getting spammed and when you do see the odd arc (Frostfire, some P.I, arcs) advertised in LFG, it isn't any of the ones you listed. My belief: most do not enjoy playing solo in an MMO - it seems to read all of the arc material, solo is the way to go. Therefore, perhaps the ideal adds to the game would be things that the majority enjoy? Now, I have no idea if the HC team can collect data that reveals what gets played the most and least and so on. If they do, I'd love to know. But based on my observations, many story arcs are not the go to for teams. I am here to play a vidya game. I enjoy fun game play and am not too worried about the fine details in the story. Sure, I like some info but have it delivered in small chunks that we can all view/read. Again, absolutely adore the HC team. You brought CoX back to life and made it legit. Kudos. But I wanted to give my honest feedback. Various comments won't change my mind. I just hope this feedback proves useful. And if I am in the minority with these concerns then ignore me. I'd still love to see actual data on which missions/arcs/TFs/SFs/trials/ etc get played the most etc.

I'm in the same boat. I am hoping an HC Dev(s) chime in and discuss their philosophy on mission design. Me and my regular group do not enjoy pretty much all of the HC content - too much text for teams to consume, not all text available to the entire team, running around, too long, not too different from the other stuff...the list goes on.

I really like making toons. Costumes, powers....I used to love comics and this brings back a bit of that joy. Making builds and number crunching on MIDS is fun. I try and make inexpensive builds and want to get some optimum numbers going for various abilities. Hope that one day the HC Devs will get a bit more bold with the content that is added. I've enjoyed the powers they add and the QoL improvements - all are great. I am not so happy about the missions, SF, arcs etc. A little ray of hope hit me when I saw they added KW repeatable missions. I hope they use AE 2.0 where players create radio type missions for the game and that stuff is canon. I hope they change the style of missions to be more like DFB, DiB, Trials and the Tin Mage/Apex TFs. Lastly, I made a few pals on here and we like to play once in a while. Chatting with them is fun. I don't play as much anymore and my time spent in game is fading...but I continue to hope 🙂 I wonder if there is data that tells how often players play missions, TFs, SFs etc? I would love to know if a lot of players enjoy the HC missions...I suspect they do not get played too often.

I am tinkering with the Sonic/Energy build. I am trying to put in some decent defences and when you do that, it gets even more expensive. I don't know if it's worth it but I am going to work on the build for a bit.

I have a Storm/Energy Defender that is pretty great for most things. I have no problems clearing the rooftops in Cimerora or other 54 mobs in various zones. Bosses aren't an issue etc. I know ENE sucks for the KB and I have used the KB to KD IOs. I think KB is awful in teams and I mostly team. It's just rude. I made him high recharge (some Force Feedbacks as well) and a few of his attacks are 'proc monstered' so he can do some damage.

Great stuff here. I totally agree on your dialogue take. Also, they're just way too long overall. Maybe they could've been TFs or something...I dunno... It is odd that I don't see too many full teams running this.
