  1. I don't get it. Survival shouldn't be an issue. I ran to level 50 with 2 defeats on my SR tank - no issues at all. And that's with the -20 Def rage crash I have an EA stalker that is Vet 15 that has never been defeated. ============ Taunt and Healing should be okay too The taunt aura on EA for Brutes looks reasonable. 13.6 seconds mag 4, that's 80% of what /invul gets. Energy Drain is almost as good as what ice gets Energize is the same as Electric armor ============ Put it on test and let people try and poke holes in it. I think it will do just fine.

  3. Overload is the best Crashing T9, since its +40% hp and instant incarnate Softcap cap to all but PSI For Tankers it would be 59.85% Def unehanced.
  4. yeah not bad at all Add in Tough, Weave, +6% Def uniques and you are already softcapped to S/L/E with over 40% S/L RES before Drains on SOs you also get a 48% Heal every 60ish seconds with a 50% uptime on +195% regen

  6. TW is good, but its not lapping the other good sets yet. Will be nice to see the IO performance. I'm curious how the scrapper ATOs change things when you can have chained fast animating AOEs.
  7. The taunt aura is there in game in Evasion, supposedly its a really weak one. Seems to work though. For EA - Brutes have taunt in the Inertia power, plus a nice -rech debuff, +rech buff
  8. You are not wrong. I've never experienced cascading failure on my SR tanker. Or my SR brute I did on my SR scrapper back in the day but that build was just barely softcapped, and I ran a lot of ITFs --- EA can overcap S/L which helps a lot with def debuff. So tanker could do that.
  9. The Stealth Toggle can be replaced with Power Armor like the Sent set.
  10. Why modified? The scaling of Tanker should take care of itself just like with SR. I think it would work as a direct port just fine. It has a nice big heal, nice Regen Boost, and would easily softcap S/L/E/N/F/C On a EA stalker you can get 50% S/L resist, so I imagine on a Tanker it could be ~70

  12. Agreed. It probably is a good idea to worry about the sizable majority of sets that follow the standard progression with standard Build Up mechanics, instead of focusing so much on Rage and the quirkiness of SS.

  16. Basically Core Musculature unless you have some build goal like soft capping def, or perma-hasten, etc. That would require one of the others.

  20. Think about this for a second .. In order to not buff tanker damage .. Presumably because Brutes won't do enough moar .. People are proposing Nerfing Brutes.

  22. Only if the COL freeforms ALSO got double the max benefit from all slotted items.
