  3. I thought they found the impact of the Burn bug to be so enormous that they admitted it would have to get a balance pass when they finally fix it.
  4. It’s not as high as Fire, but it’s pretty obscenely powerful for a much tougher set. I doubt my Rad/Savage/Fire tanker is all that much slower than your average fire brute. Radiation Therapy is insane.

  6. I’ve seen zero evidence Fire or Dark are hurting against anyone but Lord Recluse so far. And as I said Fire will be buffed as soon as the Burn bug is fixed. You’ve definitely helped me come to realize that Rad Armor is overtuned though, but likely that will be fixed with PPM changes as you said.
  7. Yeah I’m also thinking of some other posters’ reporting here. Like I remember one guy testing several Bio scrappers and finding Claws to be as fast as all the other top tier names except for EM (TW, WM, Katana, Ice...). I think it’s fine though. I find Claws very tedious, mainly because I was never an attack chain type player until a year ago or less. As in, I mash buttons and usually that means spamming AoE’s and throwing heavy hitters at bosses. Well Claws doesn’t really have heavy hitters, just amazing DPA tiny hitters. Spin is definitely pretty exceptional too.

Well this certainly doesn’t line up with attitudes in the pylon thread, what builds are meta, etc. I’m not saying it needs nerfs but other posts on this forum make “perfectly in the middle” sound like bullshit, sorry. Middle of the pack would make it, what, twelfth-ish? I don’t believe that you believe that. If you do believe that, it’s an anomaly amongst your min-max posting history to love such a powerset so much.
  9. You should definitely be able to manage both if you intend to use IO’s. I’ll screenshot my Invuln/Claws and also an example of a proc monster tanker build this weekend if you like. The Invuln/Claws isn’t currently a real proc monster (I don’t consider 5 slotted purple set plus one extra proc to be a real proc monster. 4+ procs on most attacks or gtfo 🙂 ). If you do want to try proc style, I for one am a giant fan of Vigor Core for the Acc/End support even though I think most will still direct you towards Musculature. Though Cardiac is still awesome for Invuln. My most proccy builds don’t have enough room for many Accuracy bonuses when they’ve got 6 attacks procced to the teeth.
  10. I already said I don’t see why every armor set necessarily has to trivialize one of the hardest enemies in the game. Lord Recluse is the most extreme example possible here. Who cares if he’s hard to tank. He’s supposed to be. Pop Break Frees on that one fight if it’s so important.

  19. Oh yeah, my Invuln definitely spends more slots filling the psi hole than I ever need to fill the KB hole. And, at least before the last round of buffs, LR wrecked my Graniteless Stone Tank too just because of low energy resistance. Using that fight as a standard to balance around is a bit ridiculous.
  20. I don’t think every melee set needs to be capable of easily ignoring Lord Recluse’s shenanigans. He’s easily one of the hardest baddies in the game. How is this a problem. As for the entire rest of the game besides one baddie? 12 pts seems to cover basically everything. That’s three slots. You’re fine.
  21. Sure. Just saying I don’t think it’s very useful to imply Masterminds are great farmers if the caveat is multi-boxing. There is nothing great about 4 minute meteor runs if multi-boxing. That’s a great solo time, and an average to mediocre duo time. Everyone is impressed by farm speeds when multiple farmers are running; that’s nothing new. I have at least 9 characters set up for farming with 45% fire defense. The brutes are only the best due to afk-ability. If actively farming, fire blaster and plant dom are just as good, and fire/kin controller lags behind them all a bit. You can say you doubt it but that’s kinda... not very useful either considering it’s just facts.
  22. I imagine the mathematical answer is something like “If the ATO proc rate on Storm Kick is more than half the ATO proc rate on Eagle’s Claw, then 2 Storm Kicks yield more crits than 1 Eagle’s Claw”
  23. One plant dom can clear the meteor in 4-5 minutes solo just fine. It’s definitely as fast as a /fire brute. Creepers aggro things and they greatly outnumber MM pets. As for doing a run with *2* characters in 4 minutes? I can’t count the number of pairings that should be easily achieving that. It’s a lot.
