So my evil character out to conquer the world must be a selfish rogue rather than an actual world conquest villain if I want to have a non-psychopath villain? Evil does not necessitate psychopathy or gratuitous murder. It can include it, but it doesn't require it. Evil, like good, comes in a great variety of styles. And the simplistic Hero - Vigilante - Villain - Rogue alignment system does not encompass how diverse it truly is. So if a player wants to play a non-psychopathic villain, they can. Because that is what the Villain alignment is for. Someone who is evil and goes about doing villainous acts, regardless of the flavor of evil in question. (Edit: That is even how the alignments are presented in game. The selfish rogue looking out for Number 1 and seeking profit and opportunities at every turn. The evil villain out seeking world domination, world destruction, or other grand scheme of villainous nature.)

Don't know what you are talking about. I only know of 2 FREEMs in the game. The 1st is the incarnate power you have in the Mender Ramiel mission where you go to meet him at the fall of Ouroboros. And we aren't getting that. The other is the power Council forces have that hit us for Mag 12-14 KB. So please clarify what FREEM you are referring to.

Fire contains you through threat of burning. Ice and stone contain you by encasing your legs so you can't move. Electric contains you by overloading your nervous system. None of those imply any form of pull in. Gravity implies being able to move targets. So as far as theme goes? Applying pull in effects to the immobilizes doesn't make sense for most sets. As for the immobilizing enemies keeps them scattered and you want them to be pulled together to make it easier to take them down en masse? That falls under tactics. Getting the enemies' attention and having them charge into a group, then immobilizing them in place. I don't see the point of adding a draw in effect to powers whose purpose is to lock down enemies in place when just a little bit of set up does the same thing without having to re-code powers.

There are currently technically 2 ways to rename your SG. The 1st is by disbanding it and then re-registering it as a new name. (Which doesn't really count, but is technically a way to do so.) And the 2nd is to contact a GM and convince him/her/them to rename your SG to the desired name. (Which also may not count? I'm not sure?)

Why wait? I've been angry about the exploration badge reward being changed to patrol xp since it was done specifically because even if I turn off XP like I used to for explores, it still awards xp anyway. Just patrol xp instead which cannot be disabled for some reason. And everyone should be well aware of how I feel about patrol xp itself on these forums by now.

The Weakened Hamidon in the LGTF is only an EB. If you can weather his attacks, you can simply attack the core and defeat him. No special team builds required. (That said, a friend and I tried to duo the LGTF and couldn't because of him. However, that does not mean he should be removed. TFs [and SFs] are meant to be team endeavors. If others can solo the TF/SF, great for them. If we need to build a team to tackle the TF/SF? Great for the game. So I oppose removing him.)

I would rather we didn't add even more name releases. (Edit: Also, what would be the metric to measure SG inactivity for name release? Would it automatically be flagged as not available for name release if we just log in our member characters, which we already have to do to keep our character names; or would we need to do group tasks in SG mode to keep our names? Or something else?)

The lone Contaminated? Yeah, it most likely was. The correction that made it possible to get the Contaminated's defeat badge through Ouro' though, tells me badges that can't be gained except by starting over won't happen again.
-
Because a new character won't get those existing badge gathering characters the proposed badges.
-
Not sure why you are explaining to me. I was simply answering @Techwright's questions.
-
That is the problem though. Currently existing characters players have can't get that badge or those badges. Not unless they start their characters over. There was previously a badge that players could not get for their characters except by starting over. Then a lone minion was tossed into Recluse's Victory with a 3 hour spawn timer for those players to try to get the badge with if they did not start their characters over. The resulting hate for that happening is why the badge portion of your request will never happen.

Yes, once upon a time, when players turned off XP gain, they earned double inf'.

Then let me explain. The title simply says "superhero landing toggle". It does not specify which superhero landing, though I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you mean the three-point landing that has become popular in recent superhero movies as opposed to the two-point landings that were common in portrayals prior. Then you have for the actual OP simply "Also some chooseable flight takeoffs and additional animations". Which does not specify what flight takeoffs or animations are desired. And finally, you end with "Maximum effort". Which is supposed to mean what exactly?
-
While this won't help you for getting that back and it is nothing against the OP, just e-mail your global the money. If your transferred inf' is just sitting in your global e-mail while you are reviewing and deleting characters, and you don't actually claim it until you are finished, then you won't have to worry about deleting the character after having just transferred your money to him/her/them/it, and it is readily available without need for looking up if you change your mind about who you want that money going to. (Edit: Though in statement against the OP, a slash command isn't going to be that helpful. I don't think it will be able to access your other characters from the one you are currently logged in as. So just ask for it to be reviewable on the character select screen like @Greycat said.)(Edit again: Especially since if a player has LOTS of alts, a slash command that pulls all their data to show in your chat window will be a nightmare for that poor player to try to review.)

Elemental Weapons Power Sets and Whip powersets

Denied. The last thing CoX needs is to bring griefers that hunt down and kill contacts for the sake of making it impossible for players to do the stories like in WoW.

Revisiting Prestige, SG and personal levels
Rudra replied to Greycat's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I'd rather not. For small SGs with no interest in growing and single player SGs, this wouldn't matter in the slightest, so I'm leaving them out of my considerations. For other SGs though? You run into the prestige problem we had back on Live. Where SGs that may be small and trying to grow find they can't because larger, better established SGs have all the prestige and potential recruits flock to them instead. So the cycle continues. The larger, better established SGs can do more with their SG and so earn more prestige making them even more attractive to potential recruits, while the smaller SGs get much, much less prestige despite still being active simply because they have less members available to run content and build their prestige. Just let prestige remain dead. -
Make the Sentinels' powers different.
Rudra replied to captainstar's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
That is a false statement. You don't need the devs to decide if what you are proposing is fair to other players playing other ATs that have asked to have the options you are suggesting for their ATs by saying that the proposal should only be for Sentinels so they can be more different than they already are. We're done here. I'm beating my head against a wall. See you in other threads. -
Power-Pool Presence, let's make it more powerful.
Rudra replied to shortguy on indom's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
To be perfectly fair, that depends entirely on the character. My brutes for instance, I don't use Unrelenting until they are at 1/4 health or around that point. And they usually get back to full health before I finish deleting my adversaries. -
Power-Pool Presence, let's make it more powerful.
Rudra replied to shortguy on indom's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I wouldn't complain. Thanks for stating it is your personal opinion. Because I find Unrelenting to be a great power pick. (Just a difficult one to fit in.) I24 was actually partially on Live before shutdown. For instance, the nukes stopped causing crashes even on the Live server for a couple months before the game shut down. (Odds are, the devs just threw a partial update before shut down so we could play with some of the arriving toys before the game went away.) I24 never went Live itself, but parts of it did pop up in the game before the shutdown. -
Power-Pool Presence, let's make it more powerful.
Rudra replied to shortguy on indom's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I remember using it back on Live. Maybe I am misremembering, but I do remember it being active back on Live. When the power pools were expanded to 5 powers each. -
Power-Pool Presence, let's make it more powerful.
Rudra replied to shortguy on indom's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Yes, it was. No one took it. When the other rezzes got Untouchable added to them, Unrelenting did not. Players complained. Unrelenting was changed to how it is now. So while it still isn't a good rez, unless you're safe enough from enemy attacks to use it, it became a solid HoT with offense buff. -
Make the Sentinels' powers different.
Rudra replied to captainstar's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Only giving the proposed options to Sentinels and not any other ranged AT is not a technical issue. Asking for more options for one AT and specifically just that one AT to make that AT even more different than it already is while effectively telling other players that have been asking for the same options that they can suck it, it should only go to your preferred AT is not a technical issue. You are not arguing technical issues. How well the game engine can support the request is a technical issue. How much work and how complex that work will be is a technical issue. So again, does your proposal sound fair to you? -
Make the Sentinels' powers different.
Rudra replied to captainstar's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
The problem is that what you are asking for to differentiate Sentinels even more are things players have been asking for for their Blasters, Corruptors, and Defenders for a really long time. And limiting your proposal to just Sentinels tells those players they can't have what they want, but you can on your Sentinel. Does that sound fair to you?
