  1. Okay, so we're only considering post-launch. Got it. Disregard my comment then.
  2. This happens with pets frequently depending on what the player did. Did you by any chance dismiss and then transfer to KR (almost) immediately? I've found that when I dismiss my pets at a transition and then transition without a long enough time between the actions, it seems the game doesn't get the time to update and the pets simply re-appear. Sometimes not under my control any more.
  3. Then see a therapist?
  4. I agree with @MTeague. We can have as many characters as we want and out of those characters we can have characters that pursue all the badges and characters that don't. It's up to us to decide how obsessive compulsive we are with our characters getting all the badges.
  5. Originally origin did do more than just enhancements. It used to mean you got origin-specific contacts. While a cool idea (in theory) it meant that you could potentially get locked out of certain content. I had heard it also changed how many powers or enhancement slots the character could get. Which would be a problem.
  6. The devs aren't going to respond on its feasibility. (And if they do I'm going out to buy a lottery ticket.) (Edit: And considering your last bump was after a 4 year hiatus, that is probably our answer.)
  7. What are you talking about?! I already said the existing incarnate branches would not be changed. As far as Hard Mode goes, that would be a dev call as to whether it counts as incarnate powers were a factor in their design. And even if Advanced Mode content didn't count and we could not use the not made 4 branches of incarnate powers, we still would not be losing anything. And if Advanced Mode content did allow for the other 4 branches, Advanced Mode content is not designed with those powers in mind, so Advanced Mode content would no longer be "tuned pretty well" because now we would have even more power to bring to bear in content that is not designed for it. And if the other 4 branches are stronger than the current 6, then you know full well the weakest of the 6 would be dropped in favor of the new 4, so any balance Advanced Mode content has for incarnate powers would still be out the window because players would only be using the most powerful branches. And if the other 4 branches are not stronger, then odds are the current 6 would still be the ones chosen.
  8. Has been reported multiple times. You can find the previous reports with a search of the Bug Reports forum.
  9. What retroactive coding? We don't have the last 4 tiers of the original tree. And we already have things that only work in incarnate content. (See Masterminds and their all equal level in incarnate content minions.)
  10. You misunderstand. I'm pretty sure there is no way existing incarnate powers will be changed to only function in incarnate content. That ship is long since sailed. However, the new incarnate content being asked for can be restricted to just incarnate content so as to not render the game any easier than it has already gotten.
  11. Or just make them so that they only function in incarnate content.
  12. That mission doesn't use a set map. She was in the middle of the second floor hallway when I went through. I do recall one instance where I went through the map over and over, to the point of making myself sick, because I couldn't find her. Then when I selected the marker on the map instead of just looking at the map for the marker, I found her in a tiny space behind the stairs in that room where she was easy to miss. The space between the stairs and wall is big enough to place an objective, and laying down on the floor as she was, she was very easy to miss there. And your screenshot looks an awful lot like that run.
  13. I'm in that mission right now and standing at her body. Did you check underneath that walkway? Because the location indicator in your screenshot is showing her farther away from you. (Edit: Actually, based on the position indicator in your screenshot, I'm betting she's on the lower level behind the stairwell.)

    Facemaker

    Whoops. I misunderstood you. Apologies.

    Facemaker

That was critical information. That the Facemaker in question was the SG base NPC was much needed information that should have been included in the OP. I just checked both the Facemaker and Icon Employee in my SG base, and neither of them allows body type changes.

    Facemaker

The Facemaker used to have both Facemaker nurses and Facemaker surgeons, with the surgeons being the ones a player had to interact with to change body types. There are no Facemaker surgeons at Facemaker any more, just the nurses, and they handle changing body types. I just interacted with every nurse at Facemaker and they all let me change body type as well as costume elements. I guess a possibility could be your alignment, but if it was then they wouldn't let you do anything at all. Was your character a vigilante at the time and could you change costume elements other than body type? If your character was a villain or rogue and they let you change your costume but not your body, then I would recommend validating your game files. Because they worked just fine for me. Edit: Nope, just checked if alignment is a problem. It isn't. My rogue could change body types at Icon just fine too. So you should probably have your game files validated.
  17. Alignment tip missions don't give merits. Only the morality mission to change/confirm alignment does.
  18. Be careful. @TheMoneyMaker is setting up calling you a developer without any justification whatsoever as well.
  19. If you and the team leader are collaborating though, then it is a simple matter of waiting for the team member to abandon mission until the contact gives the correct mission to have the same mission as the team leader.
  20. I kind of sort of agree? I don't think adding incarnates to the game was a huge mistake. (Though with what @Greycat said about the planned later ones, yeah, that went entirely too far.) A lot of the incarnate content is just very fun and so are the powers. I think letting us use those powers outside of incarnate content was the huge mistake. However, like you said, that ship has long since sailed.
  21. Oh, so only constant effects like the +defense and +damage resist count. Got it. So just the armor set auto powers need to lose their ability to slot sets.
  22. Health accepts enhancement sets. Most players I know slot Numina's Convalescence and/or Miracle in Health. The procs at the least.
  23. If no endurance being spent to use procs is an abuse, then the devs need to go through all the auto powers and disable sets in them. Because we can do things like spontaneously heal and gain a sudden surge of endurance without spending any endurance on that power the proc is in to be able to do so.
  24. The issue was that they could not turn off stealth with the proc in Swift, so escort missions were impossible.
  25. GM2 did not call it abuse or a bug, because it was neither. It was a player mistake that should have been easy to see before implementation but players did anyway because they figured constant stealth was a good thing. Just because you choose to translate what someone said into something that person did not say does not make what you chose to translate it to be to be true. (Edit: Just like 6-slotting your powers with all endurance reduction enhancements is something the typical player can see will not help them even if it lets them throw all their attacks without draining their endurance bar, the possibility still remains that someone could feasibly make that mistake for some God only knows reason. Slotting a stealth proc into Swift is basically the same thing, just easier to fall in to. That's player error, not a bug or abuse. In both cases, the player will run into situations where the assigned mission cannot be completed, but the stealthed Swift situation kept coming up whereas the unable to clear enemies situation did not.) Edit again: You could have just responded that you weren't reporting a bug in this thread since this isn't the Bug Reports forum without digging yourself into that hole.
