  1. I use Q, W and E keys for targeting with a PopMenu to reload what the W key targets. Q is for "dangerous" targets that always need taking down as a primary. W changes according to need e.g. task force or a specific target to find. It can also be linked to a slot to be executed and a target manually edited in to the slot. E is just target nearest.

    Icebreaker Badge

For Icebreaker the crystals are the key to stop the horde from generating essence. Enter map both teams go on wild horde killing spree. Then team #1 focuses on the Winter Lord, team #2 priority is responding the new horde spawns at crystals. Those two tactics keep the essence below 100% and gain the badge.
  3. Nah. When you switch sides the opposition events channel is removed (wherever it might be). No biggie - I have a PopMenu that reloads chat and settings for use after visiting the bird. It ensures that my own Events tab has ALL the channels on it.
  4. Dude didn't even have villain events on his Events tab! His complaint was missing an opportunity to amplify the grumble! If the Halloween Event didn't have all these Halloween events going on people would be grumbling about that! Me? I'd grumble about the opposition events channel being removed when switching sides!
  5. Regeneration 2004 felt like an order of magnitude higher i.e. 2,000 HP/sec vs 200ish today (just a random figure). IO sets and global stat buffs provide a lot of mitigation to regeneration ATs. Tanker regeneration was a want for a long-time very happy with it!
  6. How do you get reds if your tray is already full? 😛 I have a bit of a complex, too, when it comes to the inspiration tray. A primary inspiration type is designated, backed up by macros that combine other types of inspiration in to the target type. Typically, this is damage but can be any type of inspiration as the macros can be quickly re-configured via pop menu. There is also a short cut that combines inspirations in to the target type without executing the target type inspiration. The tray might become full of the target but until it does there is room to receive drops and combine them in to the target. There might be a column of mezz protection inspirations on the right side.
  7. That arrangement where the least populated servers were 200% XP was the best. It got the multi-box farmers off of the busy servers, if the farmers were smart. A weekend only is stingy and meh especially after a very long period of no double XP and double XP again unlikely for months. During OG live I remember these weekends happened often may be a compromise is needed.
  8. I wish HC would use a direct approach rather than any indirect one to deal with the damage proc issue. To clarify this issue is where powers are loaded up with damage procs a direct approach may be as simple as allowing one damage proc per power only. The indirect approach taken in I28P2 has only touched some areas within the effects of this issue and seems like a journey that will never reach the desired end.
  9. I play a different L50 every few days and may not play the same one again within a few months to a year or more. The revisited L50 gets a respec-refresh to bring the build up to date. When power sets are affected by a patch aren't those characters given a free respec to make changes?
  10. Another way is to type #q hash is a short-cut to the main menu, q is the quit option, then select character selection from the menu.
  11. I agree with the OP pressing the mark forum read button takes away needy-attention-grabbing shitposters' shitposts.
  12. Is Page 2 ready yet? Just send it, send it tomorrow. Then we can all get used to the NWO including that MOP journo.
  13. I think the D.O.O.M. critters are all 1000% XP and the Dreaded Mapserver is 2000% XP. It was a fun event when it first appeared on the scene. Nowadays, this year in particular, not so much fun as it used to be. In the original years, you could see and target all the critters and have a sense of what was happening but for whatever reason may be too many players the opposite has become true (I have only experienced this event on Excelsior). Like Halloween, this event has become farmed and a shortcut for XP and levels. I joined two times in 2025 at the beginning and towards the end. A thing I didn't like was players dragging the Dreaded Mapserver to police drones for them to destroy it. 😞
  14. This was 5 years ago and it appears this project has not been worked on for 5 years either. In fact, this project was probably abandoned not long after Taffer posted about it because HC deployed their new launcher that did pretty much what Taffer's Atlas Launcher was attempting to fulfil. That was around the same time. For Linux, all you essentially need is Wine and the HC launcher.
  15. For a PvP enhancement 7-8M Inf is typical "ball park" territory. With experience you eventually figure out ways around the auction house, instead of being dependent on what is offered on there. That could be buying recipes or/and using converters to get what you wanted. Or ahead of time of need, setting a lower buy order. Or dipping in to a PvP bin in your base, converting whatever is there to what you need. So many combinations to bypass handing over Inf to another player -- every time you can do that, you've won.
  16. The most used feature: Mark Forum as Read Srsly.
  17. Full PopMenu for Valentine's Event badges (with Pet: Mini Nemesis Horse, if you received the reward it will show as an executable command). Valentines.mnu
  18. Thanks please find attached a PopMenu file for the Valentine's Badges. It allows you to see what you have got / what you need to get. Valentines.mnu
  19. The tag is the internal badge identifier for example used in PopMenu LockedOption Badge options. They will possibly be prefixed with Valentine as some others were.
  20. Does anyone know the tag for each of the new badges?
  21. The title string for Hypothermia was an easy guess it's Winter2024Badge followed same format previous years.
  22. Well, some of these replies make little sense to me. And the "just move around the AFK'ers" replies are condescending. The most popular place for AE farming is Pocket D. Near by it has everything anyone would need. I have seen farming teams (one player three accounts) in multiples standing around between the data stream and the contact for hours and obviously they are all AFK. 15-20 characters sometimes more. No joke. Anyone who uses the Pocket D AE knows what I mean. Troo rightly frowned on AFK farmers saying they need to keep their activity on the low down. Not draw attention. It is obvious these players entered the data stream, set themselves up with toggles and auto-attack and went AFK. The mission was timed and ejected them when the timer expired. If they were not AFK they would either get a new mission, re-enter the data stream, or move away from the data stream. Either of those two actions would signify they were not AFK. These AFK'ers auto-attacks shake the camera and create a lot of sound adding to the disruption. (Yeah, some genius might say "Hurr hurr hurr! Move around them! Turn of sound! Disable camera shake! Right, nincompoops none of us should have to do any of that to accommodate inconsiderate players that are not abiding by the same rules as us!) It's none of my business what players do inside an AE mission. If they go AFK inside the mission and remain inside the mission until they return that's fine by me. If they use a timed mission and are ejected, they need to be there to take one or other action with their characters. I have a problem and everyone else should have a problem with AFK'ers that really are AFK disrupting other players. The Code of Conduct does too. If you find yourself guilty of the above type of disruption please do yourself and everyone else a favor. Choose a non-timed mission in AE for your farm. Go AFK inside the mission to your own contentment. This will help you stop disrupting other players using AE and the data stream. And it shows your consideration. The author of "that guide" that setup the timed mission could also remove the timer. These are vital steps to help prevent farmers being seen as a damaging blight to the culture of the community. * NB Please take no offense if you are a player that "AFKs" inside a farm meaning minimal keyboard input or makes movement but very little.
  23. I did not think Troo was being elitist rather their OP and opinion was to the point, matter of fact and difficult to disagree with. It's none of my business if another player AFK farms unless they are disrupting me and other players (see above).
