  1. No, adding more enhancement slots to Kheldians is not an answer. Kheldians are offered a choice from a lot of powers leading to a compromise of how enhancement slots are allocated to make the best build according to your ideas. What would actually happen is the Hurf-Durf Lords would mindlessly fill those extra enhancement slots with damage procs instead of making any attempt to develop a set-based build. Anyway, being able to add more set boni in a proper build does not answer the Kheldian problem. For me, the simplest idea for any revamp to address Kheldian problem is: Making certain human-form powers in primary/secondary available to nova and/or dwarf forms without cross-shifting forms to access them Making certain power pool powers and toggles available to all three forms (f.ex Hasten, Maneuvers) Add +DEF (may be instead of +RES) in the cosmic balance power I agree Kheldians were never intended to be rapid form-changing changelings.
  2. The OPs macros generated enough interest for me to create a couple of PopMenus that can knock on doors. It requires a key binding, a macro image button and reserved spot in a tray (3, 4) for a MacroSlot that is rewritten to point at either the upper or lower floor. There are some notes within the MNU file for how to use. ToT.mnu
  3. Different contexts i.e. actual Roman vs made up name for a game. Even in Roman usage it varied as was rightly pointed out between Ps and Cs in proper usage, it was linked to the month of birth and used as a nickname. I think it was as stated, as a reference to the order of birth to parents no matter where it was placed in the given names.
  4. Quintus is like an index number from a parent to a child (in this case a son, it would have been Quinta for a daughter). In this case, Elerius was the the 5th born and a son.
  5. I have a hunch the OP macros could run in to problems in the corners on each floor, where there are two doors adjacent to one another. Two doors are both in range of the EnterDoor command, if both doors were included in the macro one would be "clicked" and the other never clicked. Which door is ignored is dependent on the order of the doors in the macro. Without taking a closer look I think because of this the macros choose one door per corner? For the sake of completion may be a third macro for Interact Ok?
  6. It used to always be displayed but then there was that announcement of a deal with NCSoft and a whole bunch of PR leading to an influx of players. From that moment, it became hidden by default. I deliberately went through all my characters and made it visible again. You would have to ask HC why they did that?
  7. Uhm. Relying on the PI ToT Motel or KW leagues to get DA or ZA badges is not good strategy. A better one is to watch event notifications waiting for a good zone to come up and run the DA or ZA event yourself. Both can be done with a minimum of 7-8 players. Pop a message in LFG and players will come (neither connections or a SG are necessary). For ZA, 7-8 players all in one place are needed for the EBs to spawn. This DIY strategy makes more sense because there are many more opportunities than only PI/KW. The only annoying badge for me is Ostentatious. By the 30-40th costume, the Whispered Rumor set is usually complete dragging it out to the 50th is pain usually with a whole lot of Hamidon Halloween Costumes thrown my way just to taunt me! If only they counted.
  8. Well, that has always been my understanding of how a series of $$ separated commands work. It might be toggles or attacks but only the last actionable command in the series is executed. A series of TargetCustomNext commands also works the same way -- if your example were a series of these commands and only B was in view, B would be targeted. If C came in to view, it would be targeted. If neither B or C were in view, then A would be targeted. What might lend you credence or acceptance, however, is if attacks are different. If the series were attacks, only the last attack that was not on cool down would be executed. If, now, C is on cool down and is queued to be executed when the cool down finishes instead of attack B (which is not on cool down and available) being executed then something has changed between live and now. I never used the attack trick in live (I preferred to know what attack I was using) but knew it was available. To be very clear, I have never had the understanding that the "first or far left" command would execute and no others on the right. I played 2004-2012 and 2019+.
  9. I feel indifferent to the name release because it is indisputable that 100% of characters already got themselves a name. There will be no "gold rush" of players trying to acquire a name already taken by someone 1.6 million seems like a lot of gold but it is fool's gold. The crowd that coveted a name and lacked imagination will still be gnashing their teeth. May be items that matter more will receive attention instead, now it is out of the way.
  10. Either rip it out of the game reversing the addition to the TP pool OR give the user some very heavy penalties -DEF -RES -DMG keep going with them penalties. It is one of the worst powers in the game used to grief teams and leagues. Get it gone or make it so that only someone with a brain can use it effectively or they die for their stupidity.
  11. Thanks that became much clearer to me. For the WR tips I run them one at a time upon receipt for the first five within PI, then started using Pocket D for the 6th that needs villain/rogue alignment (Arriviste). Not run in to many problems running the hero/vigilante tips in PI (there is a chance of a very long distance run to the tip door) mostly they happen within a few hundred yards of the horror motel. Other tips are to avoid running Deadly Apocalypse in the PI league always seem to miss at least one banner badge. Wait for events channel to say the DA is heading for a nice easy zone to travel to form a team guarantees all the badges. Zombie Apocalypse is best run the same way just needs 7-8 players for EB spawns.
  12. Are you that player on Excelsior with a few alts that camps Adamastor and every hour for 10-15 minutes fills LFG with the most inane nonsense? In a style like Oklahoman but with a heavy dose of cringe f.ex "2-step Adam" "the IRS is waiting for Adam" etc etc? We want to know. As for hitting summon I imagine that player turned up within a minute and didn't want to wait another four.
  13. Yeah that's why I said in what you didn't quote "put on the first costume you get" but obviously linking that with the WR tips is right. In Pocket D, I guess the ToT spawns don't spawn? I definitely would not recommend doing the WR tips while in a team/league no matter if they accommodate it or not. Either way you can just whiz through to the end take down the boss but solo is just a lot less fuss. Definitely join the league after getting the 6 WR badges while collecting costume badges.
  14. The Trick or Treat badges Elite Boss and Enemy badges join the PI Motel or KW league. These leagues might also TP out to bash GMs, run DA and/or ZA. If you are still missing the GM or Unseelie badges hang around AP players there are always running around looking for the two GMs and the GMs have Unseelies spawn with them. Read broadcast and join the pack. DA and ZA badges can also be acquired separately watch event channel notifications and/or LFG (a single team can do both of these). The ZA EBs need a team of 7+ to spawn, may be even a full team (or enough out of team players in the same location). For costume badges, be outside the league and run around doors at the PI Motel put on the first costume you get. Opening doors drop Whispered Rumour tips, run those missions to get the badges (5 hero/vigilante alignment, 1 villain/rogue - you keep the WR tip while changing alignment you could get it in PI, change alignment and run the 6th in Mercy Island, for example). This combines costume badges and WR badges. You only have one WR tip at a time, so when you get a tip run it right away. Ostentatious badge is a real test to acquire just have to keep at it, run around doors, stop for a minute for the timeout to drop, run the doors again over and over. House of Horror badges are pretty easy just form a team wear a costume, run in LFG. It's just a lot of running around, doing the Dark Pact before entering the house, running through the basement, then going in to the graveyard for 99 zombies within 12 minutes.
  15. Random PUG should expect random behavior.
  16. Spooky.mnu Drop this popmenu in the usual place and use /PopMenu Spooky to see progress with event badges.
  17. Team leader kicking fold space users off the team would make my day!
  18. When one of my characters receives a temporary power, I look at it for a moment think "That's cool!" then remove it from tray and forget all about it until the next respec when they all flood the power tray prompting a /cleartray and then they are forgotten again. The exceptions are powers that help move about like Ouroboros Portal (getting to transit missions), Teleport to Base and Summon SG Portal (day job rewards), or endurance powers like Recovery Serum on characters that use a lot of endurance and need help to keep up. The real trouble is that even despite having all 10 trays open all the time on every character, there is no room to place temp powers on them!
  19. You do you, Ultimo. But don't go expecting the game to become softer, or fairer, or change however you think it needs to be changed in your opinion. Keep in mind, this game like many other MMORPGs were made difficult to keep players subscribing. We are not subscribers now and we have the luxury to spend a lot of time learning how to overcome the challenges you have found and have described to us. And it sounded to me that you will learn and make improvements so keep at it, Ultimo.
  20. Huh. Yeah, I get where the OP is coming from it was a shock the first time it happened to me. Now the OP has had a lot of good advice and if they want, they can struggle upwards improving everything eventually they will solo Manticore. And then think "what was all the fuss about?". Challenge set, challenge accepted?
  21. Well, actually, I think that "wait 5 secs" would stretch to 30s or longer laid out on the dirt for a team mate to act on the opportunity to use vengeance or whatever. The most effective etiquette is the etiquette no player ever uses = communication in team or league chat. So that's the "unwritten rule" we all actually need - use chat to communicate! e.g. "I have vengeance available" "I'm down, use vengeance plz!" "Ok, be right with you!" Create consent never assume anything for granted.
  22. Not sorry because before you have clearly not read and understood everything I said each time I have posted. This is you not me.
  23. Yes this used to work in Mids and now it does not and has not for a couple of versions. It was reported to the Mids team, they said they knew what was broken and would fix it in due course. Unfortunately, Mids is becoming more and more broken as time passes.
  24. Well, all the evidence points exactly what my advice has been = hotkeys are only reliable at the top-level. My supposition is that when a hotkey is specified a context is created in the code between the hotkey and a command. The person who originally wrote that code probably never thought about or entertained the idea for the need to support hotkeys in sub-menus. They got it working at the top-level and never refined the code further for sub-menus because it was never intended and their "exit point" for working on it was reached. When a hotkey appears to be working in a sub-menu it is a pure fluke. It might even stop working one day or, It is less likely, might start working if it did not before. Probably the easiest correction a game-side coder could make would be to make hotkeys in sub-menus all stop working (which would break a few of my menus too). What we really want is for hotkey contexts to be created for each sub-menu to match what we expected and the only chance of this happening is talking. TL;DR The first line of this post has been my experience and it appears also to be yours as well based on your own evidence.
  25. I think /chan_send can only be issued at the chat prompt. From a popmenu command, you would need to prefix it with beginchat to open a chat prompt i.e. beginchat /chan_send ... NB You can omit underscores and use random mixed case the command can be BeginChat /ChanSend if you like. Menus are shared from the same folder so no, different characters cannot have different menus. You could embed the variable $name in the command.
