What is the cap for SG members? (It was 150 on live..not sure if it has changed with HC) Edit: maybe just raise the cap for SG and use coalition chat for friends personal SGs (you would need to have an understanding amongst members to use coalition chat maybe even the motd set to remind folks)

Lol...same! I cant count the number of times someone has asked me how to do something and I sit there like...duuuuuh...I know how but I cant tell you. With the plot, if you have a square plot there won't appear to be any difference so choose a rectangular one and right click making sure all your rooms are inside the parameters of where it is/will be.

For the 5th day of Christmas, I passed out 5mil chunks instead of 1mil chunks.....hit about 10 baby heroes. One of them didn't know how trades worked so I'm pretty sure they were a real new player (as opposed to just us old folks returned lol), or maybe they just pretended to be new, don't know don't care lol! I would think you can have your personal SG then form coalitions with groups you have friends in, use coalition chat instead of supergroup chat to check for teams. Joining two SGs might be fun though.

They are although I have heard of cases where there was an issue with a name (like copyright or vulgarity) and the leader of the group could petition in-game for GMs to change the name, but I think it is a rare occurance.

Ok its been a few days since your post....and I see by your edit she is 28. You know what, if your joy is alts and low game, go with it. If you dont enjoy getting the character to 50 you'll just end up hating her (my first 50 on live I still detest and will never remake that combo). Maybe some day you will hit upon the magic and just not want to put her aside and, wham bam thank you ma'am, she'll be 50 before you know it. I vote dont push it just have fun and enjoy your game.

Yes. Aggro cap is 16 and on my farmer I have often noticed part of the mob standing there (arms folded like they are impatient lol) waiting for their turn to attack me. Even with all my tank (or brute) aggro grabbing tools. Its kinda funny sometimes.

Back to HC or is this your first time on HC? If you are refering to your account from live that doesnt exist. On Homecoming you get to start fresh and new and clean. The only thing able to be saved was the actual game code. Subscriber accounts, if available, would be a nightmare to try to dole out and most likely some serious privacy laws would have to be violated to try to match account with owner. Not to mention what would happen if personal information (home address, credit card info, etc.) were linked into it. Welcome back! Edit: if you are refering to you HC account I have no idea what may have happened and you maybe need to send a petition?

BASE damage does not take buffs into account. Scourge is a buff. You keep saying (in this thread and the last) that corruptors do more base damage than blasters but you keep using buffs to confirm that. At very low levels I can get my defenders to out damage my blasters, due to buffs the game has rolled into low characters (like merrypessimist said). If you manage to run a test and actually remove all buffs (scourge and defiance included) and actually get down to the BASE damage, you might have a starting point. tl;dr BASE you keep using that word, I dont think it means what you think it means.

I never take p2w travel and I never use temp travel given from missions, and I am not any slower than some others on teams. The one time I was so slow I missed an entire mish was because of slow zoning (computer needed a reboot). I dont lead teams, did that way more than I wanted back on live so I am happy to join someone else's team. I am happy to run at whatever pace is set, speed runs or slow old fashioned read the text style. Nobody has ever dictated to me (on HC) that I should take or not take certain powers. (Other than someone helping me with a build I was unfamiliar with). I notice in LFG chat people advertising for literally any type of run you can imagine. Arcs, stories, mish, radio, speed, tfs...it seems to all be available. I understand what some people are saying, about it being harder to find certain playstyles, and you certainly can't go in-inherent fitness, but from what I see you can pretty much run any way you want, and I think thats what some other people are trying to point out. On that gender note...just basic proofing and editing of all text (enh, missions, contacts). Time consuming, yes, and depending on the code maybe difficult, but probably easier than powersets and zones.

Laura Lockhart is delightful on a PB because the 5th Column predates quants so none appear in that arc. Graham Easton is a nice short little arc that nets you a snazzy temp power (that I have never actually used). If you detest Tsoo you may wanna skip him though.

My SG is just me and my son (who rarely plays because he has two jobs). I love how easy HC has made it to invite your alts, build a base for free, only need power/control for minimal stuff. Once you get some porters set up, a rez ring and some storage tables you will be off and running! Good luck!

To change leadership just have your leader character open SG tab and promote the other character all the way up. You will get a pop up that says you are promoting them to your level and there can only be one that level so you will demote yourself and are you sure you want to do it, click yes. This works for any member, your own characters or others. I dont know that you can disable the auto-demote but try playing with the length of time on it, you may can set it for like 1000 days or something which being more that 3 years is effectively disabling it. Surely you can log in once in a super long time like that lol. Good luck!

Lol I remember thinking well it takes end red, rech red, range, dam and acc therefore I must be supposed to put one of each in there. My first was storm/energy def, remember when there were diff enh for range and for cone? I cant tell you the number of times I managed to buy the wrong ones in DOs, but by the time I got to SOs I had that figured out because back then it was an expensive mistake.

I stand near Ms. Liberty and click trade on random lowbies. Nobody has turned down 1 mil yet, although one person did give me 1 inf in exchange lol. I also put in broadcast "On the first (second) day of Christmas my true love gave to me...." And anyone who responds I emailed 1 mil to. I didnt say anything about the inf but the email says holiday cheer. (If they are truly new players they may not have found it yet...oops) On Indom our population tends to be smallish and I am on at odd hours but I managed to find 10 people each day to spread it to. Today may be tough because I have a family get together so I will be doing it this morning instead of evening and population is always lower in the mornings. Good luck!
