Also...email is your friend. If you do delete a toon, email their inf and goodies to your own global name so you can retrieve it and use it on the next one. To make sure you dont mistype, send an email first and when you get it just reply and add the items. That way you dont accidentally send stuff to someone else.

To answer those saying 'its just a defender who will die quicker': Sure, empathy, thermal, dark, time...a lot of support sets can buff or heal from anywhere. Kinetics HAS to be in melee range to benefit from some of their powers. Ergo, we already have the defenders in melee range, I would like them to have better fighting sets (I do love MA) to participate while there. My defenders manage to die just fine at range or close in at melee or anywhere lol. Sure give them 1 maybe 2 armors or just let them benefit from the team buffs they have, but its a moot point to me. They are already in melee range through design or circumstance. I see a support/melee (or melee/support) option as just giving the support classes more options for how they want to fight.

Over in a different thread (about Khelds) Captain Powerhouse stated that "toggle suppression" would mean you keep using the endurance to run the toggle, it just stops providing any benefit. The only plus side of that is not having to retoggle. I like that someone actually put a bit of thought into this idea as I really want a kin/MA toon. I dont think it is fleshed out enough for me (I am stupid when it comes to the mechanics and technicalities of powers) to really understand where you are going with it but I am game to follow the discussion. I honestly have no idea if a new AT is even on the horizon for the devs to consider, but if it is, support/melee is really the only missing combo I see. I really hope that this can lead to a concept AT that might, maybe, eventually happen here. Good luck! Also, Going Rogue is an expansion type thingy. When you create a character you choose origin (mutation, natural etc) and on that screen above them is Freedom or Going Rogue. Freedom is the same old game you know, be a hero or villain. Choosing Going Rogue starts you on a kind of alternate story we call goldside. You start in Praetoria and have to remain there til level 20 (seriously just a couple hours or so if you rush it). Not many people play there so it will probably be solo a lot and the enemies and mechanics are a bit tougher. At level 20 you are given a contact that will send you to the portal for blue (hero) or red (villain). Its actually a pretty cool story if you dont mind the loneliness, but generally it is recommended to refresh your memory on gameplay through Freedom first before Going Rogue. Good luck!

Starting a few days before his (RDA) birthday, I watched all of MacGyver then all of Legend and just a couple days ago got started on SG-1. I love rewatching these (and other fav shows I have on DVD) because it seems you always find something you didn't notice before.

I was shocked to find the name Caberet available until I realised I cant spell worth a flip and its actually cabaret, which was taken. All is well though, I gave her a jaunty beret and tp friend/tp foe so she is Caberet ( who moonlights in a club in Brickstown occasionally).

I have a tiny little kin/bio brute named CoffeeBean. The bio armor works perfectly for her to look kinda like a coffee bean. But otherwise, yeah it obliterates a costume, even minFX can be seen as ugly to some. Therefore, ergo, so....clearly you must make a costume you love above all other costumes and not be willing to obliterate it! Happy hunting!

I can see how this could add a layer of difficulty for those players who want the game harder but don't like self-imposed limitations. This imposes those limitations for you. Not sure about how you mean for having all powers at lvl 1 to work, especially with empty or no slots, I foresee end issues but that may be an added difficulty thing. Also not sure about the limiting who can team with whom as there is a rather small player base and dividing it might not work out well (although I fully understand and agree with your reasons for it). I think this is an excellent start at offering options to people who want them without taking options away from people who like what we have now.

I do mine in batches. First batch 15, one of every AT. Second batch 13, one of every AT except HEAT because I already had one each. I am on third batch now, only 11, since I already have the HEATs and both branches on both VEATs. I dont let myself make two of the same AT at a time. I also dont repeat powerset on same AT. My first and second batches are only alpha t4, except one is full incarnate, but I did get them to endgame lol. Enjoy the altitis. Really the most fun for me is the lower levels where you are learning about your toon, what they are capable of. Have fun! Happy hunting.

The Galaxy tutorial. In the old days we would overstay our welcome in Outbreak in order to defeat Contaminated for the badge, can you do that in the first half of Galaxy tutorial? Ouroborus lets you do the Outbreak and Breakout tutorials (I think) but does it let you do the Galaxy one?

I only play one tank at a time. I am on my third crop of toons so my third tank.

The search function here, while picky, is miles and away better than the search function on paragonwiki.

I too get damage landing! To be fair, I also pull this off with fly lol.

On the enh table I noticed I could set permissions per rank, what if that were able to be set per global (and I live in hope that they would be able to hold more than 100 each) so that whatever toon you are on, if it is on a certain global account they could access the table (ditto for salvage). Might could avoid the personal base or dual sg membership ordeal.

I also have a Radeon and while windows told me 'sure your drivers are all up to date' that was a LIE! I suggest visiting the Radeon website and manually updating to newest drivers as windows is not above lying to us about what is or is not updated. 😀 Edit: sorry Tahquitz I didn't read all your tips...didnt mean to reiterate...although it does bare repeating 😝

I still use acro on many of my toons....but I havent ventured very far past common IOs. The bonus' and some set IOs can provide it so I may be dropping it but for a cheap and highly functional common IO build I find it handy if I have space in the build for the power pick.
