My 50s have a ritual. Train up and do enhancements. Then run IP and FF icon missions (Steel too if they skipped it). Then they get a snazzy new outfit (holiday themed right now). I like that you can still unlock costume slots, and I like breezing through them at 50.

Or....should I take a travel power because I have to find some Mage in the Hollows or do I take an attack power because the aforementioned Mage probably wants me to beat someone up?

Ok I have noticed on about 3 of my toons they are slept and held a LOT. I appreciate the tip and most likely will look into this Clarion thing for them as they work on their incarnates. Thank you! (I was afraid I had a few respecs to do to try to solve this issue).

When CoV first came out, I was under the impression that when my villain robbed a bank and fought a Hero, that would be a PC Hero. That is the kind of PvP I could totally dig. I was also hoping PvP would manifest in some sort of zone event like Rikti Invasion but instead, PC Villains trying to destroy Steel Canyon or whichever zone. Maybe a TF or arc where you form your team of half hero half villain then you square off to each complete objectives like when you have the mirror you arc and you are shown mirror objectives and your own objectives. Interesting idea!

If you are using yahoo I have noticed lag in receiving emails there but I didn't have a problem from here. Regardless of which you use, check spam folder cuz emails are often picky about that sorta thing. Good luck!

I usually watch my logout timer (because altitude) and the other day one popped up at 19 seconds. Not 20, 19. Very wonky but thus far its a one-off.

The Nurse NPC I have in my base just sold insp to my fully incarnate 50, so that one works.

I have a few characters who dont take any ancillary or patron powers because either they suck or dont fit the character. It is very doable to just stick with primary/secondary and pools. I do think there should be more choices for more ATs but who knows if/when that will be a viable undertaking for the HC team.

Whenever I join a TF, with my old school playstyle, I follow (and sometimes target through) the tank. Or brute if there is no tank. Or star if they are communicative and seem to know what they are doing (because I guarantee you that I have forgotten lol). All well and good until the team lead says 'everyone follow the tank' and I look at the team makeup and realize I'M THE TANK!! OH NOES! I dont lead teams anymore because I did that enough on live and, seriously, I have forgotten so much. I honestly dont care who brings what AT to the table so long as there is a decent player behind the avatar. Luckily, on HC, I haven't found many bad players. I have found a few new ones that just have a bit of a learning curve to master, but by and large, most folks here are skilled vets who can bring anything and it will still work out. Tip: be careful targetting through someone else because they may be scouting future attack paths and SNIPE you just brought the future to the present lol.

Ok. Had some kind folks help me with patron arc to open up MU powers tonight then did a respec. I didn't follow any of the posted builds exactly but i took all your discussion about how to slot and got her all fixed up (mostly). I ran all three of the costume missions to test her out, then dressed her up for the holidays and parked her in pocket D. She still uses more end than I'd like but thats with 30 IOs AND i always forget to switch to CJ and leave SJ on while I fight LOL oops. I will most definitely throw some uniques and procs into Health and Stamina when she can afford those and that should let me forget to turn off SJ all I want. Thank you all for your help, i no longer hate my toon, she's LOVELY!

I really don't like the way lightning strike (and spring attack) function. Doesn't work with my playstyle at all, but I may be able to work out a bind to help with that. Honestly, for the other powers from primary and secondary, my disappointment may stem entirely from faulty slotting and misunderstanding the 'maths'. I will be better able to judge after a respec but that may be a few days.

Okay, tons of great advice here! Although I played from 04 to 10, I never did IOs so I am just learning them now. Its really nice not to have to replace them every little while. I never managed to understand all the numbers involved (defensive toggles offensive toggles end used end recovered) I just keep slotting end red or end mod until I dont run out of end. Looking at other peoples builds helps some but I never know why people do a thing and with my deep misunderstanding or confusion on certain mechanics, its not as helpful as it could be. Detailed explanations like y'all have provided here show me WHY and that is so very important and helpful, so a huge thank you for that. I do have mids but its just confusing since I don't understand what I am seeing or why something works one way and not another. I blame math. Maths and I are not friends lol. Regarding spring attack and lightning strike, I hate them. Electric melee and electric armor are sets I have never played. I wanted to take a lot of the powers just to see how they work, and I found they work badly! Lol. Spring attack is also new to me so I wanted to check it out. Hate it. Thank you all for your help and input. I will be respeccing this character one day this week and will hopefully learn to enjoy her. After I get her functional and prove lol 30 IOs are (or are not) adequate I may upgrade her to 50s and add a few procs and uniques.

I agree...I think TankYou's bonus list is longer than the 1023 character limit. Her bio is short and sweet but I have a couple toons who use every one of those 1023 and could use more! But, in the interest of brevity I expand my vocabulary and make it work lol.

I got one of those to 50 back on live. Never again. I have never been able to really get into FF. It has a decent 'ohshit' shield but even resting turns that off. I think its a rough go for leveling.

I have found that in life and in game, you get what you give. I try to be as even-mannered as possible and kind to people I come across and that's what I seem to get in return. There will always be the one-off hatemonger who seems to, honestly, mostly be jealous of my happiness and good moods but I keep smiling. If there is a bully situation in this community, I havent seen it. If there is an elitist group somewhere, I havent found them. I have found those random one-offs who think they are Gods gift to us or those who just want to start arguments. Those are rare in my experience. I have no experience in WoW or other MMO communities, but I think that, overall, we are doing just fine here. Keep smiling 😁

Other than on the character itself (in-game), I dont believe there is an actual place dedicated to that. I am sure the RP forums would welcome a bio thread and maybe even the shard forum. So far, though, there isnt a Bio forum, afaik.

Also, HC changed this so they do drop randomly with any enemies, not just incarnate content. PW is frozen in time as of shutdown so will not reflect the changes.

She did this to me in the Faultline missions. I figured it was some MoG or IH kind of power she must have.

Thank you! Yes, many of these powers suck but as they were both new sets to me (never played elec melee or elec armor on live) I was taking most of them to see how they work. I still dont understand how half of them work. I always figured as a scrapper I will be putting out the damage so slotting for end and acc was more important. That's why I never slotted for damage, but I know better now (thank you). She only spent a couple mil on the 30 IOs so she should have enough bank for a Kismit, and then work up from there with some unique and procs of she doesnt function well. Again, thanks for you time!
