  1. Those toggles draw aggro to the caster, so putting them on teammates would be the same result as having them on a fleeing enemy - a whole lot of pissed-off jerks attacking you instead of the debuff anchor. Since you can't shoot your teammates, or Immobilize teammates, or Hold teammates, to prevent them from running into spawns and sending a lot of aggro your way, the net result would be more debt collection and having to turn the toggles off and back on more frequently. Can't see any positive benefits to that.
  2. NAKED on the throne. I'm on a roll this week!
  3. Various members of the HC team have stated that everything is discussed amongst the team. They also have an outline, a plan, for progressing. They don't talk about it much, but it's been referenced a few times (the tease for Issue 28 here, for example (near the bottom of the post)). It's evident if you look back over the updates over the years, and note the occasional mentions of things they'll be working on in the future (example: it's implied here that dominators are under the microscope). This tells us that they're not simply a group of independent people making unilateral decisions to do this or that and asking for permission to add what they've done to the game, but instead, they're working from a roadmap that allows them to tackle what they feel like working on, as long as it fits within that roadmap. From the explanations given over the years, it appears to be an informal arrangement with each contributing independently within his/her area of expertise, but consensus has to be achieved before something can be changed/added/removed. They each have autonomy to work on what they want to work on, within the framework of the Grand Plan, but they channel that autonomy into a group effort.
  4. Yes, that's what polydactyly is...
  5. Yes, along with the pet buff powers in the control sets (the primaries with the controller pets themselves, not the secondaries, which you've repeatedly discounted as irrelevant), which of those buffs accept +Def/+Res enhancements, and the controller pet commands equivalent to Stay/Follow and Aggressive/Defensive.
  6. Polydactyl magpie? That's adorable.
  7. Man... I hate to be the one to say this, but... it is alleged. HC hasn't actually shown an agreement, or a license, or anything. I've scoured the announcement post, the FAQs, the ToS, everything, there's nothing. And NC hasn't made any comment, in any capacity (official or otherwise), that I can find. We're taking them at their word, but that's what an allegation is, someone's word without evidence to support it. Granted, if it wasn't a fact, NC would've brought a mountain of shit down on the HC team by now, given all of the press, but it's still an allegation until either the license itself or a comment from NC is publicly available.
  8. Cryptic specifically made them unmatched so players couldn't create "nude" characters. Considering that HC is sticking to the T rating, it's unlikely that they'll change anything in this regard.
  9. Oh, also, on-topic, were I in a similar situation, I'd address it by saying, "Move, fuck-nugget." If that failed to resolve the issue, I'd shove my virtual boot up the offending party's literal ass. Assert yourself. The worst that can happen is he/she won't play with you any more. Win-win.
  10. Are we talking cute butts, or ugly butts? Relevant details are relevant.
  11. You prefer a little fuzz. I get that.
  12. AH window steals focus. The first item deposited automatically changes focus to the listing price field, subsequent keypresses are sent there.
  13. Only works on your powers, not teammates'.
  14. Why do they have capes? Wouldn't they interfere with drawing and aiming weapons, combust when they encounter flames and give away their locations like giant fucking spotlights that spell out, "THE GUYS YOU WANT TO SHOOT ARE RIGHT HERE!"? 😬
  15. Display error. Attuning doesn't remove the maximum level of an IO, it just allows the IO to level with the character. The game doesn't properly read that, though, when they're attuned, because the info display was never modified to account for attunement. The engine sees the attuned IO, reads its info and spits it back out on the screen for you, without looking at the cap. That's all it is. Just a bug in the info shown. One variable not added when catalysts were.
  16. Separate. They're necessary to facilitate proper beta testing (can't go straight from alpha to open beta).
  17. Pine forest to the south of the Lumiverse. There are three bears living there. I started seeing them the year after I moved out here. This one's been coming to the cabin for the last couple of years, and is comfortable enough with me to relax and nosh on cat food while I stand 15' away, talking. I'll be petting him within the next few years. That would be an act of war, one to which I'd be forced to respond with an assault of such ferocity and immensity as to destroy the very planet on which we stand. Since we still have said planet, clearly there was no war, so he couldn't have thrown it here. Simple deduction, my dear Doctor @Ghost.
