  1. I suppose when facts and logic are against you, I suppose ad hominen attacks are what you have to go with.
  2. What is an MS team? MSR is mother ship raid afaik
  3. AE should be filled with hundreds of story arcs at all levels so players can create a new character and level it to 50 with content they have never played before. So this is starting at levels 1-10. Make an AE story focused mission arc. Put SFMA in the name. Use maps you don't normally see at levels 1-10. Use enemies for levels 1-10, but try making hero arcs with Gold or Red side villains or custom villains. I will play every new AE SFMA posted here, and my sub-challenge is for others to also play all of them and post their comments here.
  4. Announce it before the mission ends. There is no need to wait.
  5. I agree. In WoW and Guild Wars 2 you do missions for people in the world. You learn about each area as you talk to them and do missions. There is a story but it also makes the world important. First Ward and Night Ward are one of the few zones where they places have a story and feel like a place (Croatoa and Striga are others). Steel Canyon is just a big place where you can run to doors for missions. I wish it had story arcs about the different neighborhoods and buildings there.
  6. A man a plan a canal Tahiti? The problem with these Tahiti trolls is you cut off one and two others take their place.
  7. mosquitos do kill the most people every year
  8. Only if you let the players make meaningful decisions. Just start every adventure with the characters captured, locked in a cell, with only the items you want them to have and only the way out you want them to have. EVERY adventure
  9. With 1,000 character slots and tons of content - do you log on with a plan? Do you log on knowing which character you will play and what you will do? Do you just see what is going on and join in?
  10. my nomination is for LadyGrams who runs teams through Hollows and other low level arcs day in and day out. They make a new character every few days it seems and start over. Not a lot of people make teams and they do it all the time. Edit: I posted this, went in game and the first comment in LFG was Lady Grams starting a Posi 1
  11. How would you know not to join a MoLRSF if you don't know what to do unless you know what to do? I don't even known what a MoLRSF is. But if I was the right level I would join and assume I would learn.
  12. I'm not talking about shopping, slotting, or other activities that are actual chores. But what TF's, missions, or other content do you do that is presumably supposed to be fun but isn't and you just do it for the reward?
  13. Do you think it would be boring to a new player - or it was just because you had done it before?
  14. Create a new character. Select the recommended tutorial for hero or villain. Do not use the START agent to get additional powers, buffs, xp buffs, etc. Just use what you get with your character. Play solo. Play the tutorial. Then play the starter set of arcs set for new players (not the old contacts). How long does it take you to get through the tutorial and finish the set of arcs? How hard was it? How fun was it?
  15. I am really curious about how you use the remote control on your television. Do you through the control away from you and then use it remotely?
  16. I agree. It makes the hat look like a real hat. And the horns add character
  17. A power that clumps enemies together would be great - I should try it. Does it work if foes are already immobilized by some aoe immobilize crazed controller or dominator?
  18. When you go to make a new character or are using the costume creator for fun (my daughter does that and never plays the actual game) do you have a specific concept or character in mind and make that - or do you explore what can be made and then find something you like? Bonus question - do you use the random costume generator and how do you use it?
  19. That seems really useful. I have used builds to be able to switch a tanker from more defense to more damage, but as you say it isn't a big change in role.
  20. The important thing is you tried and quit. Does that make my challenge a PUG?
  21. When I have played VEATS I found that I did not get a feel for the character until I hit 24 and respeced. It's my one major complaint about them. They change a lot after the respec which makes learning them as you level much less useful, although not useless.
