  1. It gives 12% to pets. PCs only get 6%. Two minutes up with a two minute recharge is standard for all Hybrids.
  2. The max is 300 characters per SG.
  3. I've heard that there's another City of Heroes server out there that lets you, at level 50, walk up to any contact, and run their missions as malefactored. For example, at level 50, you could walk up to David Wincott in the Hollows, take his missions, and be malefactored down to level 10. I have no idea how true that is or not, but if so I would really like to see that on Homecoming. Ouroboros Flashback is just not the same.
  4. I honestly do not understand the complaints that Dual Pistols is low damage. If you use the Incendiary rounds, it's anything but. Sure, it's not Fire, but nothing else is. I regularly take out whole groups of mobs in a few seconds with my Dual Pistols/Temporal Manipulation Blaster.
  5. I'm up to chapter nine as of about... well... way past my bed time last night. It's a very fun game, and very true to the series.
  6. You had a year to save up 1,500 reward merits. If that is grindy... Well, I do not know what to tell you.
  7. Thunder Kick and Eagle's Claw. Thunder Kick is your typical tier one power, meh. Eagle's Claw is just plain terrible, especially for a tier nine power. If you must skip another attack, pick either Cobra Strike or Crane Kick. They're the exact same power, just with different animations and one does a stun while another can accept a Force Feedback +recharge IO.
  8. It's a combination of people not realizing that Energy Aura is actually very good now (it was substantially buffed in Issue 21), and that some people don't like that Energy Cloak hides your costume. But for me, I'll take Energy Aura over Super Reflexes any day.
  9. I am sorry, but do you realize how silly that sounds? "You should use a confirmed game exploit because everyone else does."
  10. It's my problem for not using a confirmed exploit, a command players should have never had access to in the first place?
  11. Honestly, I can not wait until access to the /enterbasefrompasscode command is removed from general access. It's a huge game-breaking exploit. I knew about the command before most people, but I've never used it because it smelled like an exploit, and then was later confirmed to be an exploit. It's my choice to not use the exploit, but other people doing so negatively impacts my gaming. How? Most of my friends and I are speed runners. We speed run everything. However, because most of my friends use the base teleport command exploit and I do not, I've been effectively locked out of some task/strike force missions. On a Dr. Kahn Task Force for instance, I used my Ouroboros portal to get to a mission in PI. Before I could even load into the mission, it was complete because everyone else used the base teleport command exploit. I missed out on the temp power. Then everyone else used the base teleport command exploit to get to the next mission. Meanwhile, I was stuck with no Ouro portal, and I had already used the mission teleport a couple of missions ago. So, I had to "hoof" it from one end of PI to the other and then to Talos to the tram. By the time I arrived in the mission, people were already at Reichsmann, waiting for me and wondering what was taking me so long. So, yes, the base teleport command exploit does negatively impact those that do not use it, and should be removed posthaste, IMO.
  12. I went with MA/EA Scrapper myself. I really like it. As for DDR, I plan to get the Ageless Radial Destiny which will make that even better. Energy Drain makes a nice stun with the Energy Manipulator IO proc slotted in it, and you top off your endurance to boot.
  13. Homecoming doesn't legally own City of Heroes, so no. Even then, MMOGs developed for PC don't translate well to console and vice versa.

On any Market Crash Trial, badge attempt or otherwise, I always either skip the second mission entirely (if it's a speed run), or leave the second mission after we rescue the Wentworth's employee, (if it's not a speed run). Then I fly to the tram, and TP everyone to the tram after everyone is out of the second mission. That avoids a lot of flakiness. It means that I miss out on some XP, INF, and drops, but eh. There's plenty of all of that elsewhere.
  15. I'm pretty sure that Dual Blades (any AT), needs Hasten for their best attack chain. And by pretty sure, I mean I know that they do.
  16. As for speed running... Masterminds are incapable of it. At least I have been while playing them. Mastermind is my favorite AT, but I stopped playing them due to a combination of various bugs that have went unfixed, and that the AT is simply incapable of speed running unless you have someone on the team willing to TP the MM everywhere. I got tired of fighting x8 Romans on my own in the ITF while everyone else was on the other side of the map.
  17. All of the Incarnate Hybrid abilities other than Support are bugged on Masterminds. This has been the case since the Hybrid slot was first introduced. There have been quite a few threads about this subject over the past year. When Hybrid was first introduced, none of them worked on Masterminds. Eventually, Support was fixed, and Assault and Control were partially fixed. Then NCSoft shuttered Paragon Studios. So what we have now is: Support Hybrid fully works on Masterminds. Assault and Control only work if you activate them after pets are summoned. Melee doesn't work on pets at all.
  18. "Very few compelling reasons to play as villain" depends on your point of view. Personally, I find blue side as dull as dirt. Atlas Park is a lag fest. The rest of the zones (with the exceptions of Croatoa and Faultline), are drab and boring. With few exceptions (Croatoa, Faultline, and others), the mission arcs are monotonous. "Go see Joe in Skyway!" Arrive in Skyway, "Hi Joe!" Joe: "Hi, caped crusader. Would you go to Perez Park and beat up fifteen Hellions for me so my grandma can take a stroll?" Heck, up until the last few issues prior to sunset, the task forces were dull as dirt as well. Some still are, (looking at you, Synapse and the Shard). Most of the villains are cake walks as well. "Looking for members for +4x8 Council radio missions!" Then later the same people running those +4x8 Council only radio missions complain that the game is too easy. Red side being more difficult is a compelling reason to play as a villain. That most of the red side story arcs are much more self contained within a zone is a compelling reason to play as a villain. The much better writing on a whole is a compelling reason to play as a villain. That there are only seven zones instead of twenty is a compelling reason to play as a villain. For me, IMO, that some of the red side zones are designed around flight is a compelling reason to play as a villain.
  19. Ahh, yeah, it did. It came with SCoRE I believe. I thought you meant the newer power sets in general, my bad.
  20. Or Fiery Melee.
  21. Yep. One of the very first things I did back on April 24th, 2019 was to remove the Help channel from my chat tabs, and then saved it to the default chat file. The very first thing I did when Page 5 went live was to remove the General channel from my chat tabs, and saved that to my default chat file. When playing an online video game, always ignore chat. Always.
  22. For the instanced Rikti mothership raid trial, everyone from levels 35 through 49 are automatically promoted to level 50. Note, not lackeyed to level 49. No. Promoted to level 50. It's probably impossible outside of an instance, but I wonder if it would be possible to automatically promote everyone to level 50 in a zone while an invasion occurs, and then demote them back to their regular level afterwards. Very unlikely, but it would be nice.
  23. Ssshhh... 😛
  24. What is there to discuss, really? You wanted to know if a Beam Rifle/Force Field Corruptor would be better than a Force Field/Beam Rifle Defender, or vice versa. The answer is, unequivocally, Corruptor, and I explained why. Defense brings very little of value to late game, (level 35+). The only real value that Force Field provides is AoE mez protection, which Corruptor is simply better at. As for Beam Rifle, procs notwithstanding (as I discount them as nothing but a hack and one that is going to get severely nerfed at some point), Corruptors do more damage than Defenders, and have a higher damage cap. Corruptor Beam Rifle has the same amount of -regen as Defender, and only 2.7% less -resistance which isn't much in the grand scheme of things and that Scourge will easily take care of.
  25. /Atomic is all about melee. If you want to be all ranged, you want either Temporal Manipulation or Tactical Arrow.
