As has been said several times, the game is as difficult as you can make it. I play when I can play, sometimes that's maybe an hour max and sometimes I get to clock real long time. Either way, when I play I want enjoyment, first then challenge. If I am not enjoying the mission, the content or simply that moment, I step back. Grinding +4 enemies solo takes forever and is like boring, challenge or not. Yet even on lowest difficulty settings, some characters I have are challenged yet I am finding enjoyment. And that is what I think is the miracle of this game. The very fact that so many different people with different play styles and power arrangements and yada yada, can play the same content and have a different experience than the person next to them is amazing. The game should not be altered at a fundamental level to be harder or more challenging but if you can broaden the ability to customize difficulty, that is awesome. The devs seem to get this, regardless of minor quibbles with X or Y.

Yeah, Storm blast has a repel mechanic (similar to Hurricane) and some knockdown against foes not in the Storm Cell but once in the Sotm Cell, its gone and you want your foes in the Storm Cell cause they die quicker.

Maybe the missing Babbages are messing with them.

You know, the whole robots and stuff with electrical being resistant to psionics is kind of dumb really. Thoughts are like just electrical signals, though at very very low power so why wouldn't high powered psionic owies be just as wrecktastic as electric. I can kill you with my mind.

You aren't, I too would like it. I also conceived a power set in my head called Chaos Control that would take a commensurate power from a random control set and use it so your T1 ST immob could be fire, or ice or whatever but did stay within the general framework of how powers in controller sets were distributed. Then a few powers would be unique and in some cases "risky" to use, maybe normal, maybe OP, maybe backfire. And of course there would also be a random chance that any power would fail (burn end) backfire (immob or hold you) or some other trick. It would probably be a hated power set but man, the concept still excites me.

Never heard of it but regardless of weather it was good or bad, you have to feel for the devs. I mean at least they delivered unlike some promised games out there.

There are days when a bad PUG experience is the best challenge setting.

I didn't mention those as I do not consider them temporary (I know Flashback challenge settings do), they never go away. But yes, they are super useful, in many cases indispensable.

OMG I forget so many of them until I do a respec then suddenly I am like what the everloving effff. The changes to the game coupled with my changes in built and buff means I rarely use temp powers. I still occasionally lean into the Wedding Ring, especially when flashing back. In fact that is where I most often use the temps I have. I still go after the Wedding Ring and the Warwolf Whistle. I have rarely bought or used things like Envenomed Daggers or HVAS. More often than not, I just right click and delete unless I am feeling nostalgic, or there is a thematic thing for me (grenades are always kept for use by my gun types) or I am going to flashback a bunch of sub 20 content. I would hazard to guess the lions share of my alts still have the Confiscated Beanbag temp for some reason.
