I generally have a 1 mile rule. Exceptions are effing Boomtown (in the top back, really Synapse), I also get angry with Far north IP in Citadel and of course the token, click the call box that for some reason is on the far north end of Ithaca Island; a berdillion miles from the train station in Talos. And for some strange reason, I hate the Perez Park entrance in Atlas, never use it, always use alternate transport.

I am running Earth as well and Krystala is a blast to play. Solid, survivable and smashy and that was before Set IOs

Minor When looking at the power information on the set, almost all have a double % sign.

Endgame totally but not at level 20. That's what I am testing, level 20. Just SOs to test the fun part; nobody likes to struggle grind and also have no fun there (unless they are a farmer and just skip the entire game). Later is thirty and mixing in Set IOs to see what can sing. Then its endgame . . . how far I can push her. That is my testing process.

So I am having fun testing it using the bumps to 10 and twenty to test the normal play fun meter using three different (thematic) characters. This means default difficulty because if I cant enjoy that then I will really not enjoy more difficult. Defender - Water Affinity/Water Blast Corruptor - Water Blast/Water Affinity Defender - Water Affinity/Storm Blast Discovered early on its clear that Shoal Rush is totally skippable especially since 1/3 of its effects are good for like a minuscule percentage of foes (Stealthy), most of which are still targetable regardless (PPD Ghosts, Longbow Spec-Ops) when stealthed. This is fine becuase it means you dont have to lose some shooty powers. As has been said by others, Tidal Pool is fun and funny. Obviously I am using a target macro to smooth out the use in the attack chain. I really wish the casting animation was more dramatic, I am having to train myself to trust that it has been cast. Whitecap was respec'd out. Its on of those you may get it early but take it later powers; when you have improved your survivability. It deals minimal damage; probably becoming a proc mule and puts you at significant risk and likely will be skipped. Now if say it had the same small temporary defense buff that you see in Hail of Bullets then you might find me surfing in more. Whats interesting is that this is an AoE monster of a different stripe which now makes me want to add a Synphonic Control type to the mix. More feedback ans I continue

New stuff to test! Yay!

Two words . . . Nova You may think its only one word but it is so awesome it twice as powerful a word. Boom and KB! But all shtick aside. Before there was such a thing as KB to KD IOs there was a thing called tactical positioning. Tanks didn't herd into the center of the room they brought em round to a corner or to a shipping container and then my energy Blaster would torrent their asses into the wall KB and KD as a bonus and the mob wasn't scattered. Or I hover blasted making the KB into KD, she was called High Beam for reasons more than a breast metaphor. I have Zero KB to KD in my current energy blaster and zero complaints from any teammates. Now where I do put those things is in crazy flinging powers like Wormhole and Waterspout.

HC Wiki and other sources say you get it for having Imprisoned/Dazed and Confused/Trapped. I just got Imprisoned recently but no gladiator (not seen and settitle check fails to select). What this changed or should I bug it? I have also done the zone thing and the log off and back on thisng with no change.

Sorry the first post was so, not content-filled. The Summer games hold a special place in my heart. I remember the 76' games, watching the gymnastics and Nadia scoring the first perfect 10 and I was just amazed by her and of course how could those people run so fast. My love of the Olympics waned as certain aspects were diluted and of course the networks showing less and less of the games. I don't mind a legitimate feel-good story but more often than not they are manufactured drama to fill in the fact that most people don't want to watch the shot put. But when I was in the Navy and overseas I got to see other nations coverage and was once again reinvigorated to watch and cheer. So when I realized there were tools that would allow me to view other nations' superior coverage I was happy. Are there events I don't care about? SURE. Rhythmic gymnastics can eat my a$$ and the same goes for basketball. Some just make me laugh. Break dancing? Really. Hello Paris, the 80's called and they want their hobby back. But yeah. Excited. There better be some gaultier-inspired costume design in the opening ceremonies.

Can't wait. gonna fire up the VPN to watch the games on BBC instead of the commercials on NBC. Oh and Simone Biles is an effing machine!
