For me CoH was all about timing. I was a new Chief transferring from overseas arriving mid APR. So I missed Beta and the first few weeks but early May one of my Sailors was talking with this Marine about this super hero game and well, I rolled home, stopped at the CompUSA that was right by my place and there it was, sitting there. Bought it, and played until 3 AM, realizing I had to be up in two hours to roll. So I just played until the buzzer buzzed. It was my way of decompressing from a day of Chiefly duties (translated, tedium with occasional bursts of anger action). I made friends in the game and surprised a few of my troops when I would chime in on CoH conversations. It was the only MMO I even played up to that point. When It shut down I was crushed. Now here were are, celebrating an Anniversary in game, not in some forum talking about it in past tense but in the present live, with new stuff. Its glorious really. It makes me feel young.

Welcome to being Blastastic. I primarily run Blasters (three times more than other characters). When I was on live I was (what I consider) a Blaster purist. Ranged attacks and more ranges attacks, melee is only for getting out of real trouble. Here on Homecoming I have changed my tune some. I have several Blappers that I enjoy just as much as my shot from range cats. Primary and Secondary make a significant place in decisions. All fun. When get back from Easter Brunch I will post up my Ice/Ice Blaster Jennifer Chilly. I guild not for teh ubar but for majority playability.

Well there is that mission where you can run several times for void hunter badge. I have used it to fast track getting that. Also faster than waiting for tips to drop. Coincidentaly, that screenshot has it selected.

I've used them once or twice total ever in CoH. I am not an inspiration hoarder, I use them when i need them and sometimes burn the ones i don't need (even have the P2W Vendor set not to drop smalls and certain types so I get zee badges). Normally on a toon, i know what I am most often going to burn through so its rarely two items except when I take a catastrophic hit, but I have those too.

Like others have said, it overstayed its welcome, a week max.

That cat made a major tactical mistake positioning himself so far from the target. He should be stationed next tot he cheese to reduce the attack vectors. But then again, it's Sylvester, the inferior cartoon cat.

Two are running it, one is working better than the other. Yes there is some FX reuse but hey, that's nothing new even on Homecoming.

Never blame the old gypsy woman. I want wind control, I have played it on other servers and sure, it could use a little tweaking but yeah I want it. And I want it with no tampering of KB or KD effects. It's WIND!

Halloween and April Fools are Apples and Prunes when compared to each other. but I did say a week.
