  1. Because I was discussing this with some friends yesterday: It really only requires 3 if one is an epic archetype, or even 2 if they're specifically a Warshade and Arachnos Soldier.
  2. Oh? I saw the increased recharge for Dominate, but don't know enough to say how any of the other changes affect things. Unlike some Archetypes, I don't think Sentinels got anything new?

I'd like to build a Seismic Sentinel, and while I did think I wanted Bio Armor because it fits the concept, I don't actually like it very much in practice; I'd like something a bit less busy and a bit less obtrusive. According to some here Sentinels have the best version of Regen (I'm assuming this is because of Instant Regeneration?) and it seems like a thing I'd like to try. What sort of things are good to take in Regen? How important is the initial self-heal? I didn't see anything that looks like an obvious skip, so I'm having a bit of a hard time parsing this one. While there are some other powersets that could work here, I'd like to avoid: Stone, because I want this character's secondary to be about other abilities, and SR, for character power duplication reasons. Other "elemental" options for theme reasons.
  5. I realize this list is a little old, but none of these seem to contain Placate. My assumption is that because they all contain Stalker's Guile it's not necessary, but is that a useful power to have before you start getting sets?
  6. This thread is convincing me that I need to mess with Illusion/ and Dark/, even if it doesn't end up being on this character.
  7. You do seem to post about this one quite a bit, and the -ToHit seems useful. How does this do for damage, and does it have to go as hard into recharge as illusion does?

  9. Greetings! I'm one of the many players looking to really get into this game, I actually tried homecoming several years ago but didn't get very far. After discovering the poison powerset, and trying to figure out what I want to do with it, I'm relatively sure I want to play a controller, and I'm unsure ow what primary to go with. I see people like pairing this with Plant Control, but my main is already a Plant Dominator so I'd like to do something else. The character is fairly flexible in concept (a bug-themed character, if you're curious) and the ones that stand out to me at the moment are: Electric: Has another PBAoE Aura, Confuses seem to go well with poison, extreme lockdown might go well with not dying. Illusion: This looks hilarious and fun, but I'm not entirely sure I understand it. Temporary damage seems weird, but phantom army sure has the right look. Do people run the invis powers with this? Fire: Has the damage, but I'm not sure if I know enough to solve endurance. I'm also wondering if this one is as useful if I end up playing with some of my friends. Darkness: Has the synergy with the accuracy debuffs, but none of the powers really excite me. Other than having an extra pet, what does this bring? Symphony: This one DOES look exciting, but I'm concerned that all of the cones don't play well with "keep things in the poison aura".
