  1. Ok, ran a similar set of tests with a similarly setup Illusion/Rad Dom, and not seeing the Placate proc make a difference there. Which makes me wonder: is it possible that the -Rech from /Psi, as heavily resisted as it is, when combined with the tiny Blind sleeps,is doing something funky to the NPC command string? (edit: although that still wouldn’t explain the observed difference between proc/no proc…)
  2. lol homie, I could tell you that that's not how I fight EBs/AVs with an Illusion Dom because it doesn't work at high levels, but you're just going to have to take my word on both of those. You're provably wrong on that. You started this thread with a tantrum that only got worse as people tried to help ('bad design!', 'can fix this with a line of code'!). Your other contribution to the forums was the thread "Scourge is Broken (of course!)", which was another easily disproven rant. The usefulness I'm adding here is pushing back on crap like that and like this; someone getting mad about something they don't understand, assuming they're right and the thing is wrong, running to the forums to rant about it, and then refusing to listen to people and doubling down on the outrage.
  3. I will also third TA, it’s amazeballs now. I really wish there was a set just like it but wasn’t bow-themed.
  4. Poison without the heal, antidote or rez; all you *do* is debuff!
  5. It's wild to want to have the last word so bad but be wrong so much.
  6. Just in case anyone wanders by and notices the bad info: Dominator PA absolutely does not tank. Yes, they’re indestructible, but they lack the taunt capabilities of the Controller version (and also do less damage).
  7. Dominator Phantom Army doesn't tank, so. I'm not making suggestions because you don't want help, you just want to vent. If you want to come into a forum throwing a tantrum and saying things like "this AT is bad design and I could fix it by myself", consider that you're going to get some negative feedback. Have fun out there.
  8. I found that old post because I wanted to see if there was a history of 'tongue-in-cheek' threads, because this one was hard to take at face value. Coming into an Archetype forum with the attitude of 'it's not me that's wrong, it's this entire archetype, and I can fix it with one line of code' isn't asking for help. And yet people *did* try to help you, and yet you resisted. Someone said 'stack your mag powers before you attack', and when you said 'I have no idea what this even means', it was helpfully explained to you (even though you didn't say, 'wait, what does that mean'?, like a person who wants to learn would). And then here's your last post where you pop Domination and open with an attack rather than a mez. Looks like those 'assumptions' (whatever those might have been) were right on.
  9. A non-snarky answer that is sure to fall on deaf ears since you’d rather complain about an AT you don’t understand than actually ask for help and be open to learning something: Electric Control, at that level (and we still don’t know what level that is or what difficulty you’re playing at), is probably the worst choice to solo EBs with. I soloed that arc at +2 without Insps on an Illusion Dom this past weekend. It’s not the AT; it’s your choices and how you play.
  10. What a difference a year makes 😏
  11. Hm, yeah that wouldn’t quite explain it (but it’s still great info!). I’ll have to play around with it more and try to isolate some variables.
  12. Congrats to the team and thank you so much for all of your hard work 🙌🏼
  13. Does anyone know what's going on under the hood with this thing, and how (or if) it interacts with Domination? I've got a 50/T3d out Illusion Dom and have been running through the A Hero's Hero arc at various difficulty levels. There is a significant difference between how these fights go depending on if I do or don't slot the Fortunata Hypnosis proc in Blind. Without it, a +1 Chimera gives me a hard time, and a +2 is nearly impossible. With it, I can put down +3s (just Chimera, Shadowhunter, Nightstar and Siege so far) with relative ease. Dom Phantom Army will never be the taunting buddies that Controllers get, but only getting targeted 2-3x per PA cycle is pretty sweet.
  14. Dusted off my Illusion/Traps and moved some stuff around. T4s of Assault (Passive) / Agility / Reactive / Ageless. hitting around 480 DPS on average
  15. I'll probably catch it next week because I thought the first one was fun and I have 0 expectations. I am getting some Ragnarok / Love & Thunder vibes, which is not great since I liked Ragnarok about 20x more than the first Aquaman (and think Love & Thunder might be one of the worst movies I've ever seen in a theater).

    FF/Rad

This is pretty much exactly why I wanted to play this combo. My main is a Pain/Sonic that, while fun to play, often left me feeling a bit unhelpful in things like Incarnate and HM content. FF/Rad is a completely different story. Even the blast debuffs feel meaningful against Patched mobs because they're so beefy, and you often don't need much to bridge the toHit/acc gap. I also don't mind having a full AoE rotation with a bunch of KD and -res in it. 🙂
  17. Only if Pitbull is back

Oh nice! It's looking like I'll have some slots left over (even with full ST and AOE attack chains), so that could be a nice little bump.
  19. I don't know if this counts as a bug, or if maybe I'm just misremembering, but lately I've been experiencing delays of varying length receiving the 'super buffs' in this mission. My memory is that as soon as you logged in and clicked 'OK' on the mission text pop-up, the buffs hit. Now they sometimes don't pop up for as long as two minutes. A minor issue to be sure but pretty damn surprising to get one shot (or hell, damaged) in this mission. Anyone else notice this?

Awesome, thank you! Looks like I wasn’t too far off, but that Damping info is key. And it sounds like Force Bomb procs better than I thought it would; I had it in my head that slower AoEs didn’t work that well.
  21. Yeah the survivability part is pretty key; my preferred sapper is an Elec/Energy/Elec Sent for that reason (Sentinel Chain Fences is hilarious).
  22. Have you messed around with Trick Arrow as a sapper at all? There's some funky stuff in there.
  23. Shouts to the Smushening! Doc Robot started yesterday morning in the Galaxy City tutorial and ended the day running an ITF, mostly because of the Smush. 🙂

    FF/Rad

Wondering if anyone has one of these with 'new' FF. I've got one at 36 and am starting to look at proc options. Rad is pretty easy to parse since it's been around forever, but I don't have the math to figure out how reliably procs will work in things like Repulsion Bolt and Force Bomb (and I'm not sure what to do with Damping Bubble at all). It's been a fun little ride. My sense of this combo is that its teaming effectiveness is sort of a reverse bell curve; super helpful at low levels, middling in the middle and general 50 content, perks up again in Hard Mode (in theory).
  25. AVs are hard as hell but I do enjoy racing GM teams; can they get the health bar to 0 before I get the end bar there? It's usually pretty close.
