    Poison for MM's works a little differently than other AT's that can take it; namely in that VG gets applied to one of your henchmen and not you. Just to note that/clarify that. I'm not sure why this thread got a super necro, but I'm kind of surprised not to see Beasts/Dark mentioned. Of the half dozen or so Beast MM's I have/have tried, this is the only one of mine that I've gotten to level 50. It's not my favorite MM and exists mostly as part of a personal RP storyline, but it is a solid combo that can debuff enemies and keep your beasts up and running with the debuffs even benefiting the MM to play in melee with the beasts, thus making the heal more effective. I have a Beast/Kin that's in her 40's as well. It's a fun but very aggressive and fast combo and makes my head spin a bit trying to keep everything under control. My other highish level Beast MM is a Beast/Rad in her 30's. I haven't soloed with her much, so idk how the pairing works in that regard, but it is actually a pretty fun combo that brings some really desired benefits that teams like (AM, debuff toggles for hard targets).

    Do you have Entangling Aura? That should make some difference in being able to allow your beasts to safely attack mobs on you. Are you controlling your minions or letting them run wild? Beasts are like ninjas in their ability to run about and aggro an entire map, so they do require some micromanagement. I haven't personally played a Beasts/Nature, but I would think with nature's abilities and Entangling Aura, combined with keeping your pets to attacking only the mobs in range of your EA, you should be okay even in an open map setting. And, of course, making sure you're slotted even with basic IO's.

    I'd hardly call Beasts the most underused MM in the game, at least not on Everlasting. But I have been playing my Beast/Rad MM lately and haven't noticed anything exceptionally wrong with her, but then again I rarely solo. I helped someone duo the Maria Jenkins arc at basic settings (I was level 36ish being sidekicked to a 50) and my MM was doing rather well. I made use of Fortify Pack at key moments to make sure my beasts stayed up. As far as I know, beasts are still just as durable and potent, as GM Crumpet mentioned. It could be various factors--toggles not on (god knows how many times I've forgotten to turn my toggles back on); enemy type/level; what secondary you have/how you're playing it; if you're playing with SOs, have they expired?; is it you? e.g., having a bad day, forgetting to use certain abilities,, etc. etc. So it's kind of hard to estimate why you seem to be having a sudden issue with your MM, though I highly doubt it's the primary itself since it hasn't been messed with and Beasts are actually a pretty strong set with quite a bit of baked in defense.

    Have you changed your graphics settings at all recently? I know I once almost accidentally reported my spectrum characters as being bugged because I had forgotten that I had turned down my graphics, which makes the spectrum characters look really ugly and not glowie. Just a thought.

    I tend to agree, though for a while around I kept seeing some folks saying that if you were going to roll an Emp Def, then the only viable secondary to take was /Sonic so you'd be a team multiplier for -res. Which is valid if you're looking to min/max and do certain types of content where you need that sort of thing, but I'm sure for other types of play, just about any secondary is fine depending on your concept and what you want to do. I opted to go /Seismic on mine for concept and the KD effects.

    Erm, as mentioned in my post, a kitted out level 50+ SR/ tank couldn't out-aggro my level 17 side-kicked Ice/ Tank Edit: I realize I failed to mention what the 50 tank was and have since picked it in my first post.

    Ice's level of aggro-snagging is so crazy. I'm leveling a baby Ice/Claws Tanker and happened to be in a farm last night door-sitting (not my normal jam, but I need to make sure she's at a certain level for the theme team this weekend) and a stray mob came running through. I decided to see if I could take on this level 54 purple (to me) boss. The 50+ tank running the farm came back around to get this mob I could not effing hit off of me, and for the love of God I could not get this stupid Council dude to aggro back over to the actual level 50 tank from my level 17 Ice tank, lol. I'm like "I can't even hit you and this dude is pounding you and actually level 50 can't take my aggro!!!" xD xD xD Edit: I forgot to mention that the level 50+ tank in this situation was a SR tanker. Regarding the rest of the topic at hand... I had no idea taunt was broken? Other than some niche cases others have pointed out, taunt seems as if it's been working as intended.

    A couple of shots from the chaos that was an all MM Penny Yin TF on Everlasting earlier today. We had a blast! I'm not sure what all the combos were; I was on a Necro/Sonic. And I know one person was a Mercs/Pain.

    Can you clarify what you mean by female characters being able to wear suits? Because I pretty much exclusively only use the female body type, and you most certainly can wear a few different suit looks on them. Otherwise I agree with everything you've said. In response to the topic in general: This game still has hands down my favorite character/costume creator. Yes, it sometimes shows its age and limitations, but for a game that's nearly 20 years old, it's still pretty damn impressive with what it's capable of. Others in the thread have already touched on my biggest pet peeves with the system, especially as someone who adores making animalistic/monster characters. Most of my costumes/characters can be seen over in the post your best costumes thread, so I don't want to spam too much here. The talent of this community with the creator is so fantastic and often much more creative and better than anything I can do, lol.

    I believe they're referring to OnlyFans, which is known for people undressing for the camera and such. As to some of the other discussion, the game was rated T for teen due to the actual content of the game, while if you read the small print around that, they mention that player actions are relatively uncontrollable and that player discussion generally didn't have a rating. I remember back on live days that sometimes when we teamed with parents who had their kids with them, they would just mention it and we would try to keep our team chat respectful to that. And to be fair, not all content on TikTok is bad or inappropriate for kids, however, since I'm not super familiar with the platform, idk how easy it is to try and filter it so that your child isn't overly exposed to all the stupid and inappropriate crap. I have enough issues with trying to get YouTube/YouTube kids to work right for my 5 year old.

    *pokes head in* I personally play both my warshade and peacebringer as human form only. I don't really like all the shapeshifting and I like the way the shields and stuff look, lol. My human WS is one of the most fun characters I've ever played, but she definitely didn't get super fun until I finally got her into like the 30's. I also found it annoying trying to figure out how to manage my bars when she was initially human/dwarf (dwarf for busting out of mez). I also typically team with her since khelds benefit from teaming with other AT's and specc'd out of dwarf. Basically trying to build up her defense and took the interface that does -tohit to try and prevent mez from hitting me, and if I die, I'm usually surrounded by enemies because I stay in the middle of the pack typically and self-rez and go back to annihilating mobs. Anywho, I did successfully graduate college. 😄 Just waiting for my diploma to get ordered and mailed to me. I have been trying to find a job and new apartment, but not having a lot of luck yet. And if I am free this Saturday, @TrixieKixx, I would like to join with Cap'n Nova - Human PB :)

    My character's name has no relation to alcohol though @Bananiac lol. WhiskyTangoFoxtrot is how like the police and military say letters to make sure they're understood. So her name is basically WTF, which will make sense when you see her bio lol

    I play on Everlasting as well and have never experienced any of that, and I've taken some pretty suboptimal characters on things like a +4 (not 4*) ITF, among other task forces. I don't care about things like the meta, and have never had someone kick me because my build is crap or because I didn't take a certain power. Both of our experiences are anecdotal, but imo, yours seems to be far more in the minority of experiences on Everlasting.
