    Yep, MM's get Discharge on demand and as a targeted AoE. It's basically Shock, but for a crowd. I have a tendency to skip it since most groups are steamrolling and rarely need that level of spawn debuff (I tend to team more than solo), and it costs a massive amount of end for MM's to cast it given they're already end taxed.

    As someone who also has a tendency to overexplain and be super wordy, this is often more confusing than being short & succinct and is something I have to actively remind myself. More words does not always mean more clarity.

    To add to this, it also refills your own endurance bar. When soloing, you bounce it off a pet while standing near it to give yourself endurance. Same with most of the chains. One of ElecAff's neatest assets is that all buffs also affect the user. Galvanic Sentinel can be kinda clunky and can be eliminated from a build if desired. My Dark/ElecAff does not use it because my wolf pet is more reliable for chaining off of. And dumping it was advice I was given here on the forums at the time, not sure if this has changed since then (it's been like a year at this point I think).

    @Nemu I am not skilled at building or doing proc builds, so avoiding a proc build shouldn't be an issue, lol. @Dixa This is something I was wondering too and was surprised that something like a brute/tanker/scrapper was not suggested as much. I do think I'm going to swap to a controller since that seems to be so highly recommended by many people and see how pairing a Pyro/Marine with her goes.

    I'm going to try a demons/marine MM, and if that doesn't work out, I'm leaning towards a symphony/marine controller or pyro/marine controller. 🙂

    You don't have to convince me twice to roll another MM! 😂 If my favorite AT is down to duo TFs, then I think I will level up my little baby Demons/Marine MM I have since I like your suggestion of leveraging the debuffs from the attacks (and don't feel like dealing with runners from Bots patches). I was thinking MM's weren't really great for exemping, but maybe that's wrong or outdated thinking. I appreciate your feedback. 🙂

    Thank you to those who have responded. @Maelwys I wasn't sure if bringing another support toon would give us enough DPS for AVs, but I forgot how monstrous Marine can make damage output. I might think about that angle since I don't have many higher level melee toons as melee is not usually my favorite thing to play, but I wasn't sure if having a meat shield would make things smoother. @Hedgefund2 It's possible it may not matter, but I wasn't sure if there might be something that can make the process smoother given that she's new and I'm not like a min/max uber leet player or anything. I don't really make builds and play pretty casually, but want to make sure the experience of trying to duo is not super frustrating since there will likely be times where I have to get up to assist her with something. @Riverdusk I do believe the thug leaderships stack with other thugs, and that could be something to look into as well. Though I've not done as many thugs toons since they didn't get done in the MM revamp a while back, lol.

    Hello all, Like the title says, I'm curious about what AT would be good for duoing TF's with my daughter on. She's only 8 and still trying to learn the ropes of the game, so I haven't wanted to put her on teams yet. So far she's just been picking power combos that sound good to her and street sweeping. Every once in a while we do missions together. I suspect she'll want to use one of her masterminds to do this with, so I am curious what would best complement that for duoing TFs. Looking to start with Posi 1 and see how we do and maybe go from there. No rush on anything since my play time is limited due to my job anyway. I know I want to take something high level to exemp down so that way at least one of us is somewhat powered, including having things like envenomed daggers, a signature summons, etc. to help DPS down AVs. I have several 50s, but they're mostly MMs and Controllers and I'm not sure if one of those would be the best pairing option for exemping down. I feel like I need to go more of the scrapper or brute route, but wanted to see what other folks who have experience doing this sort of thing think. And what powersets might be good/best for doing this sort of thing. The MM I suspect my daughter will choose is probably her Thugs/FF if that makes a difference. Thank you!

    I think I have finally gotten my Elemental Beasts project completely rounded out and looks completed. Eventually, I'll get them all to 50 lol. Beast of Darkness - Dark/Dark/Soul Defender Beast of Earth - Stone Armor/Fire Melee Tanker Beast of Fauna - Beasts/Marine MM Beast of Fire - Fire Melee/Shield Scrapper (this one or Earth may change if I decide I don't want two Fire Melee toons for this) Beast of Flora - Plant/Savage Dominator Beast of Metal - Beam Rifle/Devices Blaster Beast of Mind - Mind Control/Time Controller Beast of Water - Marine/Electric Blast Defender Edit: I see I also have duplicate marines and duplicate defenders, so I'll probably be changing that up so it doesn't bug me, lol. And Fire will probably be getting changed too at some point.

    I haven't played mine yet, but rolled with /kin, though it was really tempting to go with /time. And Marine's just such an amazing set that it's hard not to go that route.

    I think I got everyone's character on the signup list, but let me know if I messed anything up. Thanks to everyone who made it today! We had a good group, great PuGs and smashed both Treespec 2 and 3. Ignore my lack of image cropping because I was trying to be fast.

    I am not sure if we need to cancel this week (and potentially consider having a summer hiatus or something since we seem to have lost quite a few of our players). I think I will show up in the morning, but if we don't get folks to show/join, I'll cancel it.

    I suspected as much, but my ADHD brain was like "needs clarification." xD I haven't played with the Arsenal secondary much; my brain tends to want to make it more ranged than melee, but with the aura on Pyro, I imagine you'd want to use the melee attacks. Do you use Trip Mine on yours? If it's anything like the one in Traps/Devices, seems like an easy skip to me. Seems like it might be a fun pairing and now I want to try one lol.

    All dom secondaries are Assault sets--did you mean Arsenal? I was debating doing that for a secondary. On beta I went with Pyro/Sonic since Pyro has an aura that wants you to be in melee and Sonic does as well, but I didn't get to push it very far due to a lack of time. Pyro/Energy looked like it might be good too.
