I asked him to help me with it this weekend as I discovered it has a small oil leak somewhere so I want to see what's up and what I may need to do to fix it.

I am curious about this. I know chilling embrace is great for the other AT's that also have ice armor, but is it really that good for stalkers too? I am in love with my ice/ice stalker so far, and in her 20's I respecced out of CE because with 3-4 other toggles running at the time, I couldn't manage the endurance and it didn't feel like something a stalker would need the way the other guys do. But you're saying this means I must be missing something with it in regards to stalkers. Still not sure I'd want to fit it into her build right now (level 37), but looks like I may be adding it back in later when I can get her end usage under better control.

I totally understand where you're coming from, and pretty much agree. MM's are my favorite AT and I do everything but PvP with them. I'm not sure I would advocate for the kind of sweeping change the OP is advocating for. Mostly I'd just like if there was less of an endurance penalty for having to resummon/recast the empowerment buffs, and maybe seeing pet levels be able to shift better in regards to doing 50+ content, but otherwise I'm pretty content with the way the AT plays. Like you have pointed out, it's not really necessary to be resummoning pets constantly, especially the T1's. I frequently go battle to battle with pets missing if the team is rolling pretty good and it's more important I be there buffing/debuffing rather than stopping to have to resummon and rebuff between fights.

I agree with all of your points, but unless you're going to be soloing or whatever, the second you join a team where the level changes, your pets die and you have to resummon them. So, if you know you're going to be teaming and that it won't be at your current level, then it's not that wise to summon and buff them upon login. And if your secondary powerset also has buffs, those don't follow your pets into missions, requiring them to be rebuffed in the mission door (pets may be "permanent" now, but they still technically die and resummon upon entering a mission).

Oh yeah, I'm west coast as well, so yeah, that can be hard. 😞 Hope you figure something out; I'd offer to help PL you, but my farmer is still only level 35 with a partial build so it's slow going getting her through a map.

Good to know! Everlasting runs two a night as well, but our Helen A. Handbasket usually splits them up over several hours. Neat seeing the difference between the way each shard runs them. 🙂

Shoot, the very first thing I just did with Perky Cubes as a fresh level 1 was take her into the MSR running on Indom and shoot her straight up to level 22.😁 I was gonna move my farmer on my alt account from Everlasting to Indom to level her, but my farmer is still a bit of a baby, so I think those 22 levels in the MSR were probably faster for me to gain than by farming. xD They were running another one right after as well, so had I wanted to stay, I could have probably gotten to 30ish.

What do you mean by this game? Homecoming's particular server group? Because, from my understanding, there are other private server groups running CoH where you can roll yourself an instant 50. Homecoming isn't the only server for CoH, so it's a bit misleading to just say "this game."

Here's some of the shots I nabbed from today's raid: We were all melee and this group did not really stand still much today, so I had a hard time trying to make sure I was capturing everybody! lol

It is your opinion, but you opted to post it in a public forum where we are allowed to respond and call you out on it. Two of the three characters you chose to get offended about weren't even offensive! Cali Wildfire is about PREVENTING wildfires and Moose Knuckle is not a derogatory term, let alone a term for genitalia. These posts of yours here kind of make you come off as one of those people who goes around looking for things to be offended by. I get that not everyone will like this type of humor, but don't go making mountains out of molehills regarding things that weren't really even offensive to begin with.

It's the male equivalent of a camel toe (i.e. having your pants hiked up so far that you have a wedgie in the front--in the case of women, a camel toe, and in the case of men, it splitting their ballsack (essentially) so it looks a bit like a camel toe, a moose knuckle). https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Moose Knuckles I'm sorry my dude, but you need to lighten up a bit. If someone's intent is not to be offensive, which @The_Warpact doesn't strike me as someone who is intentionally trying to be offensive, then it's ok to find humor in some of these. Though I will agree that the Kung Flu one was probably a bit too far. There is a reason that shows like South Park are successful; it is okay to have a bit of a darker sense of humor. Humor is an okay and acceptable coping mechanism, so long as you are not going out of your way to hurt people. And their Cali Wildfire character is actually an amusing concept--I live in the state, in areas that get pummeled with wildfires yearly (just had one maybe a couple of miles or so behind my house), and the firefighters do occasionally start fires to clear out areas that might get hit (i.e. controlled burns). That said, it is okay if that type of humor is not your thing, also. But if it's not actively hurting anyone, why complain? For some of us, these characters bring us joy. Our funny characters are not, necessarily, any worse than the people making characters that are directly ripping off copyrighted characters (i.e. one of the first characters I saw on my return to HC was someone named Vegeta with the exact look copied).

I tend to have a darker sense of humor, so these types of characters tend to make me chuckle. I once had a sonic something... blaster maybe... that was named Subtle Vibrator. I currently have Sara Falin--yes, she's a bit of a parody of the real Sara Palin. She's a demon/cold MM who got sick of nobody taking her seriously and twisted her religious ways a bit to start summoning demons. She'll show the US who's a hero now! And her cold powers come from living in icy, snowy Alaska; she wields her state's snow to buff her allies and impair her foes. I've seen a couple of Donald Trump parodies running around that have made me giggle. I have a stone/bio brute who is based on a dung beetle--yep, her "stone" powers and "bio" armor are feces. I have a water blast mosquito character whose water is colored to be blood, and a water blast hound whose water blasts are her slobber. My warshade is a bit of a tribute to Elvira (people love Elfvira whenever I bring her out). I have an ice/bio stalker named Frozen Discharge. As a female player, yes some of my characters even run around scantily clad because I like being able to dress them in a way that I can't and that feels fitting for their character. I love a good joke character, even those based more on dark humor, especially if they're done in a manner that clearly shows they're meant to be light-hearted fun and not intentionally offensive. Btw, I live in southern California and love your Cali Wildfire toon!

Honestly, just use the CoH Modder application from @The Philotic Knight to download vidiotmaps. It makes it so much easier than trying to do it the other way. And if you're using the new HC launcher, make sure it goes into those folders and not the tequila ones (saying that because that's where I messed it up).
